Elections on May 10 =) Who's your bet?!

Wednesday, May 05, 2010

Awwwww.. I arrived in the office with my head hurting like hell. I don't know where this came from but I think the heat I endured while on a cab this morning started this all.... imagine its peaking 37 degrees here almost everyday. Our usual temperature is at around 23-25. Now you know why in the hell people are actually dying of heat stroke while campaigning. Hey did I mention elections will be on Monday?! Yeah its that near!

Who am I voting for!? It's still Noynoy. Second choice is Gibo. If only I could vote 2 people I would but you know how it is, a spade needs to be a spade. The Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas tandem already was endorsed by the INC. I hate INC and their ideals... I hate what they are but sometimes they do make sense like this endorsement. If I had 2 votes I would get Gibo too since he has a pretty clean record, plus my idols Daphne Osena and Uma Khouny like him too. I like what he stands for as well, during this campaign he never even had any ill feeling towards other candidates. He is the one who never has thrown a bad accusation against the other front runners. A pretty good guy in my opinion, but I think I already made up my mind and will vote for Noynoy Aquino. For Vice president, I am still thinking if I should vote for Roxas.... the Aranetas are really not that good as some people may say, they land grabbed some of the properties of my family before. So if I am going to vote for him our chances to reclaim our land might get slim. You know how it is with politicians and their power to influence people also... the justice system is very bad in this part of the world ye know!

Have you made your choice?! Who is it?! Lemme know!

It's Game Time!

Tuesday, May 04, 2010

It's been a while since I have enjoyed surfing the net. I spend a lot of time updating my social network accounts but after all that monotonous brouhaha, I stop and drop what I'm busy with and find things to play. I am a game addict and I admit to spending much of my time at home doing what I have been doing since I was a kid; playing computer games. I never really got out of the habit visiting sites with online games made from flash. I play old school games and new ones too. I never realized that these things got stuck with me until now because I participate in various gaming events still. I do win every once in a while because I try to dedicate time for practice. I practice platform, third person shooter and games and other MMORPG. Even if some of these are award winning games, I never grow tired of playing it. Best of all, I can play anytime and anywhere just as long as there is Internet connection.

My friends and I like puzzle type games too. We also have the habit of playing for bragging rights so we can tell who's smarter. I love how it always ends because I usually win. The race games also get my brother a little agitated and we sometimes fight over who’s going to have on line time even if we repeatedly have proven I’m the better driver ha-ha! The gaming bug just bit us again! I so love it!

Self Made Swiss Miss

Monday, May 03, 2010

I was rummaging through my things but I think I already ran out of chocolate drinks since last week. I haven't been eating in the office and I drink a mug or two of these so I can get by. My stomach rumbles every time and I need to fill it up a bit each time I feel like it. I was looking for my favorite Swiss Miss which some of you might have had right?! and I couldn't find one at 7-11 so I went ahead and made my own version of Swiss Miss. I made one better! =)

I bought a couple of Ovaltine 3 in ones that I got for only 9 bucks for a single serving then bought a whole pack of MAX MALLOWS. I made the chocolate drink hot and then put in a couple of big mallows on it then POOF! I got my Swiss Miss substitute! Haha! To think about it, it was kinda better than swiss miss because the marshmallows were sweeter and bigger. It was kind of hard doing that in Swiss Miss because they had small ones that came in with your drink. This was indeed a treat and I'm sure if you had one yourself or for your kids they will enjoy it! I could have bought a lighter and made smores too to go with it! =)

Relaxing A Bit...

I took time to stop and do nothing this weekend to do one of the most luxurious things while most people suffer in the sweltering heat of the sun; I took a very long bath in the tub. I got those fancy salts commonly seen in spas and used them to exfoliate because I was turning a little tan even if I haven't seen the beach in a while. It was perfect because no one was at home and the silence was more like therapy in some way. It puts you into a Zen like ambiance and makes you enjoy the refreshing feeling a bath can do. The pretty bathroom vanity my Mom put up inside was perfect since it contained all the soaps or moisturizers I need to perk up a bad mood that day. I woke up in the wrong side of bed I guess but I was feeling a little better after that.

I know there are people already getting sick from the heat and I would not want to be the next casualty. I am so glad I tried it out and I'm planning to make it a regular thing if everything falls into plan soon. I have some products I could use from a contest I won a couple of weeks ago and I know it would make a better regimen if I had this done regularly. I love it!
