To Go or Not To Go!

Friday, May 07, 2010

I am in a solid rush right now and I don't know if my plans would push through. I want to get wet... I haven't been to a swimming pool or beach since last year... or maybe last January LOL. Anyway, I really want to spend my weekends relaxing. If I don't get a vacation of some sort I'd probably end up crazy in some mental institution. I know you kinda get what I mean.

Aside from that, I plan to go to Quezon next week... if my classmate does not make arrangements for our stay there I'd probably end up doing it with the D60KREW. That would be fun too because it will be a day full of reminiscing and time with the people I started with on street photography. Capturing the colors in the south of Luzon would be doubly fun and amusing. It will be my first time and I'm surely gonna eat habhab which originally came from that place. Just thinking about the vinegar with it makes me quiver a bit. Aaaah I can't wait!

I don't know if I could do some form of shots that I can arrange with the people there. A beautiful lady wouldn't hurt while posing with those pastel colored rice paper they make for lanterns.

My life is so random. I had lots of fun last night with friends. Flirting with ladies with bodies like OMAAAAAYGAAAD was just so nice. I want to marry someone nice like that anytime soon.

I don't know if I'm gonna enjoy this single guy life LOL. But it sure is one hell of a ride! =)

Breathe it all in!

Emergency response has been a very important issue these past few weeks. New York has been a victim of terrorist attacks over the weekend and a Palestinian born operative was the culprit. He got in the country through a student visa but it seems he went there for a different reason. I know he has been arrested too. When will this stop?! We'll never know; but I am quite optimistic that if we are ready for any untoward incident to happen then we have resolved it halfway. Breathing is important as with any living thing would say. For emergencies and non emergency situations MSA and Moldex has been known to manufacture great respirators. I have seen a full-face respirator used in operations that need highly technical breathing apparatuses. If a place has been entered and tear gas was used by police, they can breathe easily with it. Terrorists, criminals and people who continue to break the law like parole violators would be no match with counter terrorist actions like this. There are also other options like the cartridge respirator that can be of some protection in parts of the face and it's easy to carry around too. This would be better for daytime operations. I would rather use full-face respirators though so I can protect my eyes better in case I or anyone in my family faces danger. The need to breathe is not optional and it is a necessity to live. If we come prepared in any problems in the future, being ready will win half the battle. Breathe that in; then breathe out!

Election High Blood

I really do not like people who dictate and tell other people they are stupid if they don't go with their vote. But I kinda think they have freedom to write whatever they want on their blog. They say their candidate is all nice but they themselves do the SMEAR campaign versus the other candidate, that is just so low for a lady to tell.

Anyway, I still like her blog.

As for this election, what happened in Marinduque was appalling. Imagine the delivery truck just got bombed while in transit. Soldiers and civilians are there and probably got hurt just for these PICOS machines to be delivered. If this happens again while the compact flash cards are in transit today, I'm pretty sure they won't be able to do the tests come Saturday or Sunday as they initially planned.

A lot of problems are arising in this election. People are so nervous about technology. They want everything to be perfect even if this is the first time we're doing this election here. I just say its not right to complain too much on something so simple. It's like betting on a lotto outlet for crying out loud. If that were hard then the stores for these games should be closed as they are demanding it to be.

It's not perfect. It's new. We have to be optimistic. Politicians and people are nervous because they couldn't cheat anymore. Your days are numbered. So go to your precincts and make that vote count, else, don't complain on the next government okay?!

Busy... but I can do it!

I must say that it has been a very hectic month for me and my office mates because Boss is in town. This is part of his semiannual visit and we usually do reports up to our necks at these times and to tell you the truth; I am not surprised. The accuracy and reporting we do covers the activities we have done for that same period and we need all the documents to back up our projects for the next few months so we could appropriate funding for these too. On the day itself we also ran out of ink on our Desk jet printer so we had to run and get supplies from the administration department. They begged off and said we had to find our own cheap ink cartridges and just reimburse the cost later. In just the nick of time we had our slides printed out and ready to go and tell the tale of our project. I really got nervous!

When it was my turn to talk in the podium, I mustered up all confidence and started explaining the statistics. My forte was graphs and tables so I didn't waste time starting on numbers indicated on the spread sheet. I compared data from last year and made a few suggestions on how we can improve overall. I also made some plans how we can eliminate spending too much by allocating budgets for office supplies and printing on back pages if the documents are just for ordinary notes. I love how we got to start with the prints we had that day which my boss loved. Someday, somehow it showed how much we care for our business. I love how it worked for us efficiently and it's just almost half the price!
