Oh no! It's Johnny Rockets!
Thursday, May 13, 2010
It's high time we do another food review for a restaurant I just visited today. It's Johnny Rockets in Eastwood City.
I ordered a Chili Dog with enormous servings of fries. My co workers ordered Philly Cheese steak with and without the sauteed bell peppers. This was a challenge for me since I was in a diet before this but I know I wouldn't disappoint myself from gorging the actual food I am about to eat. It maybe a question if I can devour that much fries since they offer it all for free.
I started eating the tail end of it and tasted the chili on top and it wasn't really that special. It tasted kinda little older than the chili we buy at 711 and I think the one in the convenience store is wayyyy better. The onion and cheese combination with it plus the sausage made the difference but then again it is a CHILI DOG, which means I need to say something special with the chili... apparently I didn't like it that much.
As with the Strawberry shake I was dripping all those saliva for, it was nothing but vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup. It was not as special as the milkshake McDonalds used to have. I would probably order the malt next time if there would be really a next time.
The Philly Cheese Steak, according to arpee and jessie it was just okay. The size was alright but not as big as the original philly cheese steak, the cost is big but I think what made it worse was the bland taste. Were they disappointed?! Yes... Johnny Rockets could have done a better job at the cheese steak too, properly seasoning it and making the cheese flavor more prominent would be perfect but that would take them a long while before getting some of the people to try out their store.
An amusing thing there though was the dance number they do every now and then. Awkward to look at though when you are inside the diner. All American diner? Nope, not yet! This gets 3 out of 5 kumags since it did fill me up, thank gawd I like fries!

Next Theme: Jeans!
Wednesday, May 12, 2010
I do fashion photography and I think I pretty much have gained confidence in choosing what I want for a model to wear. I want a specific photo shoot to coincide with what I think is the perfect look so I also have something to brag about with my photos. The next theme I wanted to have was a shoot where everyone was clad in jeans. I want something that looks very rustic and grunge with some dirty spots here and there. They don't have to be expensive. Discount Designer Jeans would do the job. I would also like to add a couple of sequences where the models will be shot wet and shiny. If I need to use glycerin then I would do the same thing they did in ANTM. That would really be fierce!
I also saw some Miss Me Jeans and I think they would be good for the female form. The snug fit it will have on the body will count for a more appealing look. You know those tight jeans you see with women in bars and clubs in the metro?! That is exactly what I want to see. If we do not have a stylist or fashion designer available; a trip to the Seven Jeans Sale might be an appropriate solution. I wish to have this awesome theme done soon and have my peers jaw drop after that!
Third Day of Elections
The Philippine Elections is not done yet. This will be the third day. Then again, the other presidential aspirants conceded already. The only one left is ex president Erap Estrada who refuse to give up because he says he doesn't know where these votes came from. All these are encrypted and not configured that way obviously and someone has got to teach him a lesson about automation and where the information is coming from, otherwise please give him a handbook for STATISTIC WINNING FOR DUMMIES.
I don't know about what will happen in the next few months but the gentlemen who did concede said that they will help Noynoy run this government. We kinda need all the help we can get obviously. If these guys who promised so much in the election do all the deed they mentioned then this would really be a better country. Why do they have to win the election just to do it right?!
Though the actual swearing in of the Philippine President will be in June I hope they take extra measures to take care of themselves. Politics in the Philippines is so dirty and its not going to be normal if no one attempts to kill you. So, what's your wishes if the Noynot Binay combo happens?!
Friends Moving!
Tuesday, May 11, 2010
I have friends in LA that are in dire need of help because they don't have guys to help them move to their new apartment units. I suggested they give Los Angeles Movers a call because I heard a lot of nice things about them. It also would be less of a hassle if they gave prices better than my relatives because I heard they plan to charge me a couple of hundred dollars on top of a moving party I suggested them to do. I don't want to get in trouble if they pay for food and beverage and still get charged by their not so close friends since hauling would take them quite a while. It would really be a better option and a practical one at bat if they get a free quote just by calling a toll free number 1-800-431-3920. They would be able to save needed money for interior design and cans of paint which would cost thousands of dollars.
The Movers Los Angeles area has are dependable and would not probably complain if the things weigh too much because I know there was a grand piano there when I visited three years ago (they are music lovers). I want them to take it easy after all they are all girls (and nurses). The Los Angeles Moving Company I suggested would definitely be better than the usual. They need help and it should not be costly to move within the same city right?! I thought so!
