Arghh! I Found GOLD in the Philippines! Captain Morgan That Is!

Saturday, November 19, 2011

How do you have fun when it's Wednesday?! I don't know really so this one was kind of an eye opener for me. I haven't met someone who would go the extra mile to get you to have some fun... I found this in an island...

It must have been abandoned by a pirate or something. I'm not so sure. I was still looking for the party when he suddenly appeared!

He was about 6'3 towering over all of us... quite a presence and you know what he did? He asked us to open the treasure chest and out comes this!

Yes ladies and germs! It's Captain Morgan! Captain Morgan himself ordered us to have some FUN! And that's what I plan to do on a Wednesday night... this night has just gotten better!

Then she got me some... now that looks like I'm going to have some FUN!

Honestly, I haven't heard of Captain Morgan... Nor have I ever tasted it yet... So you probably can call me a VIRGIN with this Original Spiced Rum!

So I grabbed a bottle of Captain Morgan... grabbed a glass... and got to taste this awesome party starter!

And oh boy did we party hard at that table! Now that is how you make yourself happy on Wednesdays!

And shiver me timbers I've found some beautiful people too!

BOOOM! LOL!

Now isn't that quite a nice way of spending the night?! Isn't that a ton and a half of FUN? That's exactly why you should get CAPTAIN MORGAN the Original Spiced Rum! Arguably the newest, freshest bottle you can find at your local winery and stores! There's a bit of a knack in finding one that's smooth and NO HANGOVERS the next day... I'm notorious in getting that but after this party, it was all good! I love being a pirate for one night! I'm really looking forward to more!

Now it's your turn to find that treasure chest and get some fun over a bottle or more of CAPTAIN MORGAN Original Spiced Rum!

100 Toys to Heaven

Thursday, November 17, 2011

Guys, play this first! :)

You and I have been watching this series for quite some time now. In fact, today marks the last day of 100 days to heaven. Your favorite Ana Manalastas story will cease to exist in primetime television. I have seen people cry, laugh and get excited on their family's adventures. I spent a lot of time following where the story will end up and I'm quite sad that it is ending.

You probably also have seen that they have been asking for toy donations these past few weeks in an activity titled 100 Toys to Heaven. I witnessed a couple of days ago this gift giving activity and I'm so excited to share this experience with you. Take a look!

100 TOYS TO HEAVEN!

This day's recipients were from my old school =) , Kamuning Elementary School

Then Ms Coney Reyes arrived. It's my first time to see her this close!

The kids were so excited to receive their toys! ☺

Xyril Manabat also was there to see the kids! She's good in the series eh?!

Ms Coney Reyes says Xyril is so sweet, she always gives her something before taping an episode, and on this last day she gave her a home made card! Quite pretty!

Now that just made my heart melt.... I love seeing kids this happy!

Let's watch the last episode of 100 days to heaven later guys! Tune in to ABS CBN!

Joe D'Mango is Back on LOVE NOTES!

And he's back! Joe D'Mango hosts Love Notes on DZMM; comin out this week!
Love is such a hard thing to talk about on public radio. There are only a couple of people that you can trust your stories with and make sense out of it. That's what popular DJ Joe D'Mango has been doing in the past few years and he's back from early retirement but seen in the stables of DZMM; the AM radio arm of ABSCBN network.

The one and only VP for Radio Peter Musngi graced the event to welcome this icon of Philippine Radio.

Ms. Mara Faner, the beautiful Station Manager of DZMM welcomes this new KAPAMILYA!

It was so nice seeing Jo D'Mango that afternoon. It seemed like everyone was eager to listen to him speak. I too am longing for those love songs and real time advice he's planning to do on his show. They will be using Social Media to make this even better than his previous shows. Imagine how fast he's going to give love lessons this time. He's got a beautiful family too!

Joe will listen to your story, so come share it with him Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12AM to 4AM on DZMM.

I didn't know he was happily married! A beautiful wife and kids, he must be the luckiest guy I know. =)

He was known for LOVE NOTES his popular radio show and He's back to bring that glory in AM radio programming. This will air every Tuesday and Wednesday from 12 mn to 4am in the morning. Nocturnals and brokenhearted men and women will surely have another reason to stay awake as he continues to help those who have letters about the matters of the heart. He's got segments like "Echoes of the Heart" and "Love Quotes" and anew one called "Ito ang Tawag ng Pagibig" where people can dedicate love songs to their special someone.

Are you ready to love again? Are you ready to share with the world that feeling that LOVE brings? Then it's time to listen to LOVE NOTES via DZMM Teleradyo 630 khz and live streaming through DZMM.com.ph

When I was asked about what I know about Candy Pangilinan, I said I know a lot. I probably know a lot of details that she might not even want to remember i.e. her love life, some funny moments with people etc. I was a little serious when I said that I actually adore her. Her humor, her spunk for life and the reason for her existence "Quentin". I also love the little stories in between. I've been a silent reader of her blog since its inception and I find it therapeutic to read the entries she wrote via the comfort room (she sits there and write from her laptop if I remember it correctly). I am fond of her anecdotes and experiences with her "Mom and her amigas" for catechism class/feminist groups or whatnot. I love how she inserts those jokes in between and her relationships with Aiko, Carmina and Gelli... plus the spicy details of the men in her life. I also know what she said about UST on hosting their quadricentennial celebration but that's too much information. I stopped quite a while reading her entries because she rarely updates her blog aptly named CANDIDLY, but I don't blame her for that. She needs the time for work and family and I'm just a fan of her work; plus the fact that I like how she lives her life... she's a good person. I'd really love to meet her someday.

I guess everyone knows by now that she's working with Manny Pangilinan's TV-5. She currently stars on the adaptation of an 80's hit movie called Bagets, which also airs on the same channel Sundays at 3 p.m. right after Paparazzi. Candy is also working on an upcoming television adaptation the Gabby Sharon starrer; the classic film "P.S. I Love You" to be shown also on the Kapatid network soon. She's got some projects coming up like individual improv shows that will be the delight of everyone! With her timing and comedic sense I'm sure there will be more opportunities coming her way and I can't wait to watch her shows, movies and series. I saw she worked with a couple of veteran actors and actresses already in Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin and she fared quite well afaik. I'd be glad to watch her soon, so for you guys who are up for this promising actress and her work make sure you stick to TV5, Viva and Genesis projects. Candy will surely make you feel better! :)

Capisce?!
