Markki Stroem = G-FORCE Pair Up on Make Me Sweat - A Sexy Valentine Show!

Monday, January 16, 2012

This year, everyone's on a diet and I'm no different. I need to entertain myself in one way or another and what better way to do this but by just seeing sexy people and get inspired... not to mention hot talented ones... I've seen them all this week and who in the right mind wouldn't want to see them?!

Hot Markki Stroem (of Pilipinas Got Talen Fame; finalist of the same show) will be having SEXY + sizzling concert together with GFORCE and its matriarch Georcelle Dapat this February 4 at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan. This Filipino Norwegian will surely spark the delight of women when he gets to sing standards and a couple of pop songs in his repertoire. We got the chance to talk to him a couple of days ago and it was my first time to meet him.

Not in this attire of course! He was a little preppy.

He looks so good. Apparently he's in the gym more often now because he'll be showing quite a LOT in this concert with GFORCE. To tell you honestly I didn't know what genre he sings or what his forte was before this day.

It was refreshing to see someone very passionate; in this bit he was trying to explain to us his kind of music. We really got what he meant about having to talk someone in the same mental state as he is.

He sang a few songs and actually, I like how he wanted to stay a little on the artistic side of things. He sings VERY good and I'm not just saying that for show. He's planning to put up an album soon with some kind of bluesy-jazz feel to it. I like what he's doing, staying true to his craft and music. He's got the face, the body, the talent. What more can you ask for this February 4?! (Nakakainis lang no? Ang perfect LOL!)

Now if you think Markki Stroem can't be the sole thing that would convince you to go to this concert, let's add in the gorgeous GFORCE in the mix!

GFORCE has been in the industry for years now and continually producing world class dancers for shows like ASAP Rocks + Concerts for artists here and abroad. Ms. Georcelle Dapat-Sy says she actually just doesn't train dancers; because what she trains are choreographers, to make them full spectrum artists. She believes a lot of doors have been opened to them because of the hard work and sacrifices of these men and women; so the only thing to payback the stern support they have been getting from these shows is to make sure that the quality of their dances would be at par or even more than the rest of the world. She believes in these girls and I mean who wouldn't; I saw them the last time when they performed during the ASAP Rocks That's Christmas! Special and I was astounded by the talent shown by these individuals. They are classy yet hardcore. Gearing up for this concert with Markki Stroem she believes would make them even more sexy than the usual, definitely hotter than the previous shows they've been to. Apparently they will give the audience something to talk about when they leave Music Museum as they will depict extreme artistic interpretations of what the real "SEXY" is.

Are you going to just sit around there and wait for something to happen? Why not go to Music Museum on February 4, 8PM so that Markky Stroem and GFORCE show you "Make Me Sweat - A Sexy Valentine Show" the sexiest concert evah on the planet! xoxo

Tickets available on Ticketworld so call 8919999 or 3514252 now!

Fighting Hunger Together!

I have been a stern supporter of World Food Programme as you may probably know. WFP.ORG and WFP Philippines have been continually fighting hunger in this country for years now and they need all the help they can get. One truly remarkable way you can now do that is by purchasing through Julie's Bakeshop; particularly their BAYAN BREAD. This item and its proceeds will help fund feeding programs for areas of conflict and Sendong (International Name Washi) affected areas in Mindanao.

Photo above shows WFP Country Director and Representative Stephen L. Anderson and Julie's Bakeshop CEO Joseph Gandionco shaking hands in the recent SINULOG Festival in Cebu City. Together let us work hard in making sure to feed millions of Filipinos who suffer from hunger and do our share to help at this part of the world!

Please visit WFP.ORG and follow them on Twitter for more information (details below).

3D VIZION: Changing the Advertising Landscape Worldwide!

Sunday, January 15, 2012

Before I do give you first dibs on this one, let me ask you something. Do you know what 2D or 3D is?!

Photobucket

A 2 dimensional figure would only show you 2 sides; a flat surface; this actually accounts for mostly all the posters, tarpaulin ads you see on the street which doesn't really do anything because its plain and simple. 3D on the other hand makes this a whole lot different. You get depth of field and you get a perspective. Now with that already out, have you seen 3D Vizion?!

Seeing a glimpse of the future this would only mean that things will change in the landscape of the entire advertising industry. You will see a lot of things in a different way. Ms. Katrina Bantug, 3D Vizion's CEO and President talked about this huge change and how they want to do it in the Philippine landscape. This is somehow a redesign of how we do advertising; but when I saw what she was talking about this happened!

We saw 3D advertising for the first time and can't believe how far it popped out of the screen. Imagine beer commercials with the actual can out of the picture floating in your living room or your favorite mall! How about going to the casino with all the chips floating in midair after you hit the jackpot?! Your favorite cartoon series and the fight scene outside the TV sets like you are right beside them while kicking and punching. Some characters even rode an airplane and you can literally see the plane with its wings sticking out of the screen. Some way, somehow you feel it, you see it and you know why people open their mouths this much because of one thing. That's 3D Vizion!

I can't describe how much I love the experience of seeing this up close, these photos really do no justice. I didn't have to wear those unhygienic 3D glasses anymore. It's just so AMAZING in one word!

They have indeed studied the market and with this installed in almost every single corner where there is traffic, they saw a substantial amount of increase in catching the attention of the consumers. Imagine now if you were the company or person who got your product out in the market with this technology which is estimated to be 10 years ahead of it's time. You will get the mileage you need for the amount of money you spend for advertising. It's going to make every cent count and that's going to mean a lot of savings. Soft and pretty.

What's also great is that this particular venture is Filipino owned. The corporation is founded by Katrina Bantug, Mohan Kulkarni with DEMIKK Holdings, Inc. and the brand is represented by Ruben Tiu. It's definitely a relief that this technology and its use is not going to someone else's hand. It's just one thing to be proud of after another. If you want to take advantage of 3D VIZION please check out their website http://3dvscreens.com/ and blow away the competition! Don't be afraid to try it out and call them for a demo! I'm sure whoever gets first hand on what they offer would surely lead the pack!

OKLMSSV (OK Lang Maging Single Sa Valentines!) - A Concert by Yeng Constantino

Friday, January 13, 2012

Do you ask yourself if "OK LANG MAGING SINGLE SA VALENTINES!?". Honestly I don't know; but one great concert artist is out to answer that question come February 3 at the Music Museum. Yeng Constantino brought the house down on her last concert at the Aliw Theater. Now that she's performing at the Music Museum, she promises to treat those who don't really have someone special this season. I mean, she's got a point! Why in the world does it have to always be the lovers... why can't the single guys and gals also have fun?! =)

I got the chance to throw a couple of questions and first asked why is she SO thin? Yes ladies and gentlemen as you can see on the photo Yeng Constantino is so thin! Did I just say that again?! LOL! She candidly replied that some folks actually found her fat when she had her concert at the ALIW theater (of course I didn't believe her!); while she didn't feel like it at that time, she watched her video and she felt (somehow shocked to see) that she looked a little big at that time so she got on a diet that fast. Just look at her now, totally different from the last time we saw her. She feels more confident now than ever! Although she doesn't want folks to see that she's giving in to pressures like that, she personally wanted to have a body like a rocker. Her personal peg was Gwen Stefani/PINK and so we kinda got her point. She wanted to have some cuts and she's planning to work on that next phase soon. Though in my books, she's still the pretty Yeng we know. I personally like how she's so passionate about her craft, which brings us to the next question I got from Krissy and Ericka... they wanted to know where Yeng got her passion?!

She thought about it for a few seconds and uttered "Hmmm.." She says her passion is innate, it was something she always knew from the very beginning; she always knew that she was born to perform. She told anecdotes of her as a young child performing on tables for a measly five pesos that her Dad would gladly give. In those times she always felt so good about it... that was already bliss for her! I asked her about the time she cried in the ASAP Christmas Special and told us that it was because her Mom was in the audience and she really felt connected to the song at that time (Sa Ugoy Ng Duyan). She felt she did a lot of horrible things back then when she was struggling to be a musician but now she understands that her Mom was only protecting her and had dreams for her at that time. She told us that she continued to cry even after that number and if her Mom and Dad weren't there at that time she must have messed up her make up not thinking she had a couple of numbers after that.

Take a bite of Yeng Constantino at the Music Museum February 3!

She also told us that she's single and she wanted to have fun at this time of the year. She didn't want us in the same boat to merely watch those who are in a relationship enjoy the occasion while we all sit in the corner and be emo. She wants this to be like a Singles Party where everyone at any age and any relationship status would have a rockin time just like in any of her other concerts. She will also be releasing something NOT HEARD from her albums or concerts before. Plus she's going to have something played on the screens later on in the eve of February 3 at 8PM. This show is produced by Jack Rufo of famed ASAP Sessionistas; win cooperation with Cornerstone Concerts and major sponsors RRJ, Quilabet. This is directed by Dido Camara. Yeng and Cornerstone would like to thank RRH, Let's Face It, Orange Magazine TV.com, MYX and Magic 89.9. You guys should definitely watch out for this! Because it is true! Ok Lang (naman talaga) Maging Single Sa Valentines!
