The Great Outdoors! Hang Ten's Summer-Spring 2012 Collection

Philippine Fashion Week is just around the corner and what glorious way to start the season in my site but by showing you something special this Summer - Spring Season 2012 courtesy of the good people from Hang Ten.

Hang Ten was one of the staple shirts I always have in my closet. Classy and perfect for any day and any occasion. I didn't really run out of it because even my folks tell me I look good in it. It has surpassed just being a classic shirt, even before it was always about the Californian culture. Even from the standpoint of living in a tropical country it wasn't normal to surf here back in the days; and that was one of the reason why I had to have it... why I needed Hang Ten.

This season they its one thing they let you in with that feeling; this time they let you experience how it is to dress up and be in the outdoors. Quite remarkable and impressive right from the get go. Shall we start?

Camp Hang Ten

If you can't get out of town, the next best thing to do is camp out in the woods. That simply commands a couple of things but the essentials are pretty fabulous including the things inspired from the gears and stuff you need to wear in order to survive. In hindsight it is like fashion, sometimes you have to sacrifice in order to look good. Hang Ten on the other hand makes everything comfortable yet they never sacrifice the look. You still have plaid, earth tones, leather and classic Banana Republic looking pieces that's a bang for the buck! Nobody said you need to spend a lot just to look good right? Imagine looking like you just came in from the wilderness, scruffy and all... that's the inspiration and by golly it's proven to bring out good looks as usual!

Cotton Project

Think about the role of Wolverine in the popular XMEN series. Do you remember the part where he was a woodsman? If you see the aesthetic that runs into the style of their clothes, that's exactly the inspiration this other collection from Hang Ten runs. Plaid has never been better, so does the jeans. It's so nice to see feeling the breeze all over again whilst wearing some pieces from this joint.

Escaping the norm and getting the most comfortable things in your wardrobe is essential. For the rugged ones it'll surely be a hit!

A Fun Rockeoke Night With Your Barkada and Greenwich!

I have never been so busy in the office, but going to a place of fun with the whole barkada has always been a treat! It was really nice seeing new people.It was nice gathering and making fools of ourselves every once in a while through good food and a couple of rounds in ROCKEOKE. An acoustic band that can literally play any song you like while singing in front of your new found friends. It's one of the perks I enjoyed going to Greenwich, I can't tell you how many times I said WOW when food came out of the kitchen. Are you ready?

I LOVE Onion Rings so this hot batch was wiped out after a few minutes. I also love how generous Greenwich is in also pairing this up with a Garlic Ranch Dip. Perfect appetizer!

Spicy with the right amount of kick! You won't stop munching on these Buffalo Wings, another favorite on the Greenwich menu. I should know, I had 6 pcs of this!

Make sure you get one of the best pizza's in the Philippines and get overloaded with All Meat and Cheese OVERLOAD! Get the Barkada Size - Thin crust! You won't have any problems making your friends satisfied with their meal!

Of course I would never leave the store without one of my favorites the hot LASAGNA! Oozing cheese, meat and pasta... need I say more? This to me is one of the best comfort foods you can ever find in a fast food joint! I love it!

Desserts come in nice small packages and this one packs a punch! Sweet tooth just got more sweeter with caramel and chocolate with these Frozen Dessert Cups!

My love for pasta is unquestionable. If you frequent some of the food blogs that I go to I always request to have some of the Spaghetti dishes sent to me because that's my favorite! I don't even know how many kilos I have actually devoured in my lifetime but I'm telling you I probably have eaten more of this than rice at home. My whole childhood was based on this LOL! Good thing GREENWICH listened to the clamor for this dish that Filipinos absolutely LOVE! Best of all, it's at a price point incomparable to any other restaurant with the same caliber and amount of pasta!

Would you believe this bowl of pasta only costs 49 Pesos? Yeap! You heard that right! How in the world can something like this cost less than 50 pesos?! Think about thick, sweet, and oh so meaty red tomato based sauce poured over more than the usual amount of pasta (25% MORE)... how can anyone NOT love that??? It's crazy! It's UNBELIEVABLE! It's only at GREENWICH!

A night out with friends or barkada us just bliss! More so if you celebrate life's precious moments with Greenwich. You should try that out pretty soon!

"The Mommy Returns!" Showing on May 9th, 2012!

Different artists from different networks need not to worry Filipinos anywhere in the world. Why? There's always one film outfit willing to get these artists into one huge project. Think about the names Ms. Ruffa Gutierrez, Mr. Gabby Concepcion, Pokwang, John Lapus (whom I found so hilarious in Moron 5 and the Crying Lady), Gloria Diaz, Kiray Celis, Gerald Pesigan and GMA's premier child star Jillian Ward together in one movie and I'm sure you'll give this a shot. These guys have been able to get hits off their individual projects and with them together in this Regal Films concoction it'll be one heck of a Mother's Day Presentation and a horror-comedy film!

It's not an ordinary slapstick flick where they would need to hurt each other before someone would laugh in their seats; but heavily invests on situational funny moments in this family oriented comedy. This isn't my first time seeing Pokwang in roles like these because she has starred in quite a number of films I've covered. She's the matriarch who dies and was sent to purgatory. They have some funny terms used for that place and John Lapuz' character. After Pokwang dies in the film, beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez suddenly gets to capture gorgeous man Gabby Concepcion. His situation entails her dealing with the three kids Pokwang left plus the ghost she portrays in the film.

It was my first time seeing Ms. Ruffa Guttierez and she was really gorgeous! She cried a bit when asked questions about her Mom and the brouhaha that happened a few weeks ago. Ms. Gloria Diaz was also there together with Gabby Concepcion and John Lapuz. They recollect how much talk they had to do about love and relationships while doing this film. Some of them have failed marriages but everyone seems to want a lifetime partner. They also had so much fun doing this movie together with the kids. Photos from the presscon here!

This mother's day offering from Regal Films, Ms. Roselle Monteverde and Mother Lily is directed by the one and only Joel Lamangan. The Mommy Returns

Together with the actual "experience" are two things. You would be able to do a couple of CrossFit exercises like the Box Jump, Jump Rope and Air Squat. Reebok has been sternly supporting CrossFit programs since 2010 and why not because both companies have been endorsing an empowered health lifestyle that it just comes naturally. Filipinos will now witness the same famous straight forward program in Eastwood City so make sure you come over on that day.

Reebok CrossFit Boxes have been setup all around the world hence its inclusion in CrossFit's affiliated gyms. Together they have been making headway of various programs starting with the new generation exposing them to how it is to live healthy at an early age. It's time for Manila to have some of that! I own a pair of Reebok's now and use them profusely when I work out. It'll be a better experience now with the new shoes out... if you think you need a pair, it wouldn't hurt to try them out first this Friday!
