Sabrina's I Love Acoustic 5

Wednesday, February 06, 2013

I love Sabrina. You probably know by now how successful she is because for most guys who adore listening to acoustic songs, she's the "IT" girl and why not; she's the best in class. I am so fortunate to know a dear person like her. She's so charming, down to earth and sweet. I downloaded her music the day it came out off the iTunes Store here because I've waited for this since she got her other album (Sabrina's Acoustic Love Notes) out which she collaborated with Joe D' Mango months ago.

She treated us with a couple of songs from her previous albums and told us more about how she's doing now. She's got multiple platinum awards mind you in Indonesia. The Asian region adores "The Asian Acoustic Sweetheart"

The New Spiral @ Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila!

Tuesday, February 05, 2013

Sofitel Manila, a dreamy place to go to when in the Philippines. I've recommended this to some of my foreign friends; and even local ones. They all say the same thing after the experience, with the luxurious accommodations and the gorgeous food from the new Spiral... they tell me Merci. They become french all of a sudden, but I'm not surprised! I've been here a couple of times and always looked forward to when and how I'd be able to return. The time is now!

The New Spiral!

Spiral has undoubtedly been able to hold that distinct title of being the premier buffet destination in Manila. Twas ravaged by a storm a couple of years ago but just like a phoenix out of the ashes, it spreads its wings and now opens as The New Spiral!

Easter is just around the corner and so is Valentines Day. These gorgeous works of art you see above are 100% edible because they are made of chocolate. The painstaking work put through each item is undeniably superb as Spiral's Artisans cum Pastry Chefs come out with some of the best concoctions the world has ever seen. The ganache is addicting, not to mention the truffles and other things on the table. Flowing champagne, sparkling wine, cuts of gammon ham... ahh you just want to savor everything.

Photos from the Red Carpet: Seduction

It was nice, a little hot but bearable because of the lights and cameras flicking. I could understand everyone's excitement because of the celebrity screening of the movie Seduction. Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Labahti, Solenn Heussaff, Jon Orlando, Jay Manalo and a lot more star in this film. The whole Gutierrez Clan was there to support Richard and it was a treat to see them in the flesh. I haven't seen them all in one place. There were some other stars you might want to see too. =)

Director Jun Lana and Nicole of Artista Academy.

Brent Manzano and Akihiro Blanco from Artista Academy too.

I told you the family was there right?

Aubrey Miles without husband Troy Montero.

Phoemela Barranda

Bubbles Paraiso and Paulo Paraiso. Both looking good!

Pardon me but I don't know her. Can someone identify her for me? pretty no?

Bela Padilla, but she looked down when I was about to shoot her :(

He's the guy from the Philippine Volcanoes. Dapper but he was a little quiet. Sorry, name recall isn't my greatest talent. :)

Perfect looking man, Brazilian model Fabio Ide. =)

Richard's twin brother Raymond was here too, saw him doing interviews and he also endorsed the movie. Nice of him to do that no?

Pretty Isabelle Daza, she was there to support all of em.

Sweethearts Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann holding hands. Cute couple.

Lovebirds Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez

The one and only Ruffa Gutierrez was also there to support her brother. Gorgeous as ever!

Oh Jon Orlando just looks so clean and polished... and good looking of course!

Solenn Heussaff just shines. Oh how gorgeous can these people get!

Congratulations to Richard Gutierrez, Direk Peque Gallaga, Jon Orlando and Solenn Heussaff. How I wish Sarah Lahbati was here! For those who haven't watched the movie yet, please do on your favorite theaters nationwide!

Coco Martin, Julia Montes: A Moment In Time

Love has never been so wonderful. It crosses boundaries like age, time, consequences. It doesn't even try to do it but it just makes everything happen on its own. Some would get hurt, some would get lost but it ultimately ends up getting sublime happiness and never realize it was all worth it. How can you say no to love?

A film directed by Emmanuel Quindo Palo, you will be brought to another love story with Coco Martin and Julia Montes called A Moment in Time.

Would you love someone poor? Would you love someone that your family doesn't approve of? Would you be willing to hurt yourself in the process and still fight for it? Well that's a tough question to answer. We got to see how Coco and Julia in this film do just that; in this year's most romantic film to date.

Shot on different countries in Europe, they made each part of the love story come out and play an important part on how their lives become one good dream, something that they have been waiting for in a long time. Here are some shots from the grand press conference. This will open on February 13 on over 100 cinemas nationwide!

UPDATE! Here are the photos I promised!
