The Philippine Quill Awards and Student Quill Awards 2013!

A few days ago, we were invited to a small gathering of bloggers in Metro Manila. This event was for The Philippine Quill Awards 2013. This is the yearly search for the best business communicators in the industry duly supervised by International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines and has been going on for years now. I have projects of my own and when they discussed this that evening, I see some of it fit for some of the criteria they have set that can also apply for other corporations, individuals and organizations throughout the country. There is also a Philippine Student Quill Awards search that may qualify some of the best schools in the country. Last year, we saw companies such as Smart, ABSCBN, Stratworks, DLSU who won top Quill Awards divisions and they have made headway winning anew in the main International Golden Quill Awards in the US. They are now regarded as best in the industry, a feat that corporations worldwide would envy even those that are based in North America. 

Just like you I had a few questions in mind and might have to take a look at past projects so I would know how to present something standardized as Quill. They will be holding seminars to get you acquainted in how to write and put together nominations. Bench x Ronnie Salvacion - 25 Things I Learned From My Bench Shoots - An Art Installation

Ronnie Salvacion has been working for Bench for years. One day, he gave Mr. Ben Chan a simple gift... it was a collage of photos from the past Bench photo shoots that he did which included some of the local and international stars that have been with Bench for the past 25 years. 

It was so touching that Mr. Ben Chan made it into a book, and got it printed as is. Aside from that, a whole exhibit cum art installation was also done at the Basement of the new posh Bench Tower. I've been so blessed to have been invited during the Lee Min Ho presscon, and this event came after that. Simply, it was nostalgic looking at these photos.. let alone the celebrities that were there too to witness the occasion.

Mr. Ben Chan saw in Ronnie Salvacion something that nobody did, it was the artist in him. Congratulations on this great show! Now, here's a glimpse of the whole exhibit in a few minutes. Enjoy!

BENCH presents: LEE MIN HO "My Everything" Press Conference

This is actually my second time seeing him this near and mind I tell you he's got almost creamy flawless skin. I've never seen anyone this smooth, this approachable and appreciative at the same time. Oppa was a delight to hear while being interviewed. He was a little tired but he didn't show it. It started a little bit rough on the venue because everyone wanted to see him, take shots of him and videos too. So imagine the throng of people fighting their way in the front so they could do this. Yes, I'm part of that crowd too. It was hard, but I know I've got to at least give you what you wanted to see. Did you catch my live tweets? :) You should check @kumagcow on Twitter because I covered pretty much everything. But here's an even better treat for you guys.

I had problems where I had to take shots. See this crowd? This isn't even half of it.

Then when everyone was settled... he came in... of course I've heard screams!

He immediately said hi to everyone and proceeded to his seat in the middle for the interview. He waved a lot to his fans and to the media. He was a little tired I think from the trip but he kept smiling all throughout the interview. He inaugurated the building, this was held on the 21st floor of the new BENCH TOWER. =)

Don't you guys just want to melt every time he smiles like this?? =)

Sam Oh of ETC hosted the program. She was fun and bubbly. She made it easy for Lee Min Ho to get settled and the conversation was fun.
