GENERAL: The Ultimate Lifestyle Store For The Self Made Man!

Have you heard of General?! If you haven't been to C1 Bonifacio High Street to see this store, you must have been living under a rock. For stylish and classy men, this should be your "go to store" from now on. Let's just say, it sets the bar for STYLE. I gasped at the sight of the brands they carry.

Do you remember the artist named WHOOP whom I featured here during the DIMENSIONE Magis launch? Well he's responsible for these art installations above. GENERAL actually changes face every so often to feature artists of different mediums to coincide with the upscale but relaxed feel of the store. It's a feat I haven't seen from other brands. Then I took a closer look at the items they have on the shelves. I'm telling you, I was like a kid in a candy store!

This one's SPY+. A brand made popular during the mid 90's designed and created by achiever athletes and design freaks from California now gearing to some of the world's best technical eye wear. It's here in General, one look and you're hooked!

Cross Pens are as historical as my college life. I've donned one of these engraved wonders which signifies stature and class even at that time. They carry these now for smart executives who would want to see high quality pens that's sophisticated and stylish at the same time. Why not? I own one already :)

Gentlemen's Tonic Babassu Bergamot Pre Shave Oil, Aftershave cream, Foaming facial Cleanser, Classic shave cream and brush. It's all signature grooming products or the sophisticated man. If you've got taste, this definitely should be in your regimen. It's also got that woodsy tones as its fragrance, so for those who want something light and fresh, get it! I want to review this so bad! :)

 In a nutshell, they carry some of my favorite brands. Upscale yes, but very much worth it!

Unknown to me, I didn't know that MINI Cooper had their own collection. It's all BRIT chic and the vibe totally coincides with the General store. I wanted the jacket and shirts. Heck I love the small MINI car too. Aside from that, MINI showed their latest campaign that evening.

Imagine a 6 foot duck on top of a MINI car, then it roamed around BGC quite a few times. Not asking why, but WHY NOT? Their tag line... NOT NORMAL. This duck will be also displayed on the General store until they change faces again pretty soon.Check this out!

GENERAL PH you have all the brands I love. For Men who want their lifestyle be as classy, easy and sophisticated... drop by their store at C1 in Bonifacio High Street. It's heaven I tell you! Congratulations to the Primer Group of Companies for putting this up! You have no idea how I felt when I was there. It was surreal! Thank you for getting all these brands in one place!

Enzo Pineda: The Guy Who's Good Inside and Out!

This guy has been so good to me. He's also good to people around him; and it really shows. A couple of days ago we were invited to a charity feeding program in the south. It's Enzo Pineda's birthday and to celebrate, he chose to spend it with kids instead of the usual hodge podge party frequented by celebrities. 

Together with his sponsors and GMA Artist Center, they planned a small feeding program in this school to help kids get properly nourished, a feat that even the DepEd and local PTA associations have been doing in the past. A little help from this nice guy right here was enough to make kids in Alabang Elementary School smile from ear to ear. 

When we talked to him, he was really happy. What's even better is that he didn't realize that his other co-stars in Kakambal ni Eliana went out of their way to also help. Steven Silva, Kimy Rodriguez, Julian Trono all spent the afternoon preparing numbers and spent their time with the kids. This was really touching as Enzo didn't really expect these very busy people to do that for him and the kids. Enzo said this is one of the things that he'll truly miss with the program that's also going to end this week. But he knows he's earned close friends because of this project and he's happy with that.

Enzo also told us about his new shows in GMA and says he's been blessed that the network trusts him this much. Yes, he's got a new series called "Dormitoryo" which viewers will find a little different. 

This time he'll be slightly scary, slightly fun as he portrays as student. He says he's going to play this a little different than the usual, and he wants to be seen off beat by changing his hair and attacking the role differently. He's glad hat he's doing this stint and plans to also do indie projects soon. He's got a lot of dreams, and I'm sure he'll make it all come true. This humble guy is going places and he's just started. 

Enzo, thank you very much for doing this to these kids. It's already a plus that you are good looking but what's better is that you are so humble. All I wish for you is continued success because from where I see it, you're already doing it right. Congratulations on your new show and happy happy birthday man! Thanks for always being so nice! :)

Solenn Heussaff for Bench Body

Sexy, sultry, everything you want to see in a woman is just in one French Filipina gal named Solenn Heussaff. I've been able to follow her career since she started as make up artist cum stylist to the stars, modelling, starring shows on TV, then doing endorsements, hosting gigs, then eventually making films here and there.

We were at the event and Solenn's closest friends and family gathered in a much awaited announcement as she takes the stage and shows why she's fit to be the newest endorser for BENCH BODY.

Close friend Georgina Wilson and Bench Executives were there to welcome Solenn to the Bench Family.

When we got settled, we waited a bit for the curtains to raise and see what's behind these. They didn't tell us right away that there's going to be a fashion show; we were all surprised when we saw the photos from the official Bench Instagram account. It pays to follow them there too so you can get behind the scenes coverage =) they even show some details I don't see on the event itself! For real!

Then it started!

European - French looking men flanked the stage and showed off the best BENCH BODY underwear, this night is just starting and it's looking HOT HOT HOT!
