I've Got Dole In My Home, How About You?! =)

Right after a vacation, I told myself a ton of times to eat healthy but I always end up getting junk food on the forefront of my snacks. That's really sad. Good thing Dole came to my home and got me the freshest, sweetest fruits in cans, containers and fruit cups!

Dole Pineapple Chunks landed on my salad. I don't really dig plain old leaves on my bowl so I sweeten it up with this awesome pieces of pineapple which doesn't make my stomach ache even if eaten early in the morning. I find it less acidic and better if consumed throughout the day as a snack. 

Dole's Tropical Fruit Cocktail looks good here, but even better inside the can. Aside from your favorite pineapple, they've got other fruits included in it PLUS TONS OF CHERRIES which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE. They make it a point that you enjoy those tiny bits of fruit goodness that will provide you your daily allowance of Vitamin C and more! Whip up 2 dollops of cream and it's an instant fruit salad where kids and adults would love after a meal! What's your favorite recipe? Mine even has lots of cheese on it no joke!

 

Dole's Diced Peaches is perfect when you want something cold. Just pop it in the refrigerator and wait for a few minutes, take it out and enjoy these small squares by opening the lid and spoon it up! It's sweet and quite nice to have after a workout. 80 of good calories isn't that bad on your diet! Your doctor might even recommend this too!

Get a lighter way of enjoying your Sliced Peaches with this version in Light Syrup. Less the sugar content of the original fruit cans. It's even better to carry around and share with your peers at work who'd want to get a piece or two on your jar too. There's plenty more of where this came from!

It's been a while since I've visited my favorite hotel in the world, Sofitel Manila. It was good though because this next event I went too was surely a momentous occasion, and posh at that. In the fabulous Le Spa at Sofitel Manila, we went and found THÉMAÉ; a French luxury brand known the world over that celebrates the anti oxidant properties of tea. Some of Manila's most discriminating celebrities, bloggers and clientele were there to try out the products and the facial services and range of treatments that were designed with these 4 tea varieties. Celebrate French Wine Week At Sofitel Manila!

Today marks one of the most celebrated occasions in France. It's the season of harvest! And what better way to do it but by splurging on wine, one of the country's best produce. In Sofitel, they made this an even greater experience by honoring it with French Wine Week!

We had to graze outside first for one of the ceremonies wherein a bottle of Champagne was cut with a Saber! (or in this case a huge kitchen knife) It was a show on it's own and this fine young gentleman from Sofitel poured us a glass or two. 

Not to be outdone, patrons were able to do the same. They have to just pop it like so!

She was a little afraid but overall she did a pretty good job chopping off the bottle's head. Sofitel will be offering a wide array of these French wines in an à la carte menu. Weather you would want a Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Languedoc, Loire, Rhône, Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila has got that and a lot more! If you saw their wine cellars and displays you'll remember France and the other countries and wouldn't think it actually existed. But really, it's the spot you just need to visit at the south of Manila. Then we went in Spiral, Sofitel's grandest restaurant!

There's real deal French guys in Sofitel that will also be teaching you a thing or two about pairing as they hold sessions of that as well. It starts today (September 7, 2013, Saturday) and will last till the end of September. Thanks to the kind people behind the production and the team of Ms. Austin who let us hang around in the studios while on rehearsals. This is raw footage as you can see, but this is way that enough for me to say she's definitely the best!
