Philippine Firm ALOUATTA, INC. Hailed As Partner of the Guam Visitors Bureau

Tuesday, November 12, 2013

I've never been to Guam but I'd really love to. It's one place where Ferdinand Magellan landed before he came into the Philippines. We are bounded by history and the island has got a 26.3% Filipino population only next to its natives the Chamorro people. The country is blessed to say the least and they have opened their doorways for those who simply want a glimpse of how it is to experience GUAM.

The Guam Visitors Bureau has tapped one of the Philippines trusted Marketing-PR companies Alouatta Inc. as their official partner in celebrating and spreading the news for what seems to be the next premier destination in the orient. The large population of Filipinos in their country not only means we are part of the workforce but now a significant tourist source more than ever. Alouatta Inc. will be showing more of what Guam has to offer. Now you can make new friends, taste the sweet life, spend quality time and fall in love in one place they call GUAM.

I can't wait to see this country soon!

MANGO Rock It Up! - Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014

Sunday, November 10, 2013

You know this brand from a mile away. They've got some of the best clothes known the world over and they have made their mark already in the Philippine retail scene. Twas an exciting evening to showcase what they have for next season. It's all things nice and comfy. It was meant for men, women and even kids on the runway. It was something so nice to see after a whole week of fashion overload... something sweet to end the season.

The event was hosted by Borgy Manotoc and Nicole Anderson which I have seen quite often in other events. They were excited as I am about this big launch for Mango's newest flagship store at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City. I've seen this still in construction a few days back when I covered other shows and I must say its size was just bigger!

Then LIVE MUSIC was done by Taken by Cars. I must admit, I dig their music and twas something to enjoy much like international fashion shows.

Mango and HE by Mango presented coats, layers, jackets, dresses, leather, prints and stripes.  They also have different shades of gray, black hues and even tan in the mix. I'm loving Mango already and then there was more! This one's Mango Sport and Intimates.

Shop at the Comforts of Your Own Home with O SHOPPING!

Saturday, November 09, 2013

Been blessed to have been able to witness the launch of ABS CBN's newest channel O SHOPPING. This is a joint venture between Korean giant CJ O Shopping Corporation and Manila's ABS-CBN Corporation. They met halfway with the other needing each other if you know what I mean.

Mr. Lopez himself admittedly said they had some challenges with the previous shopping network that they put up; and CJ O Shopping Corporation had everything that they lacked before, and more. The solid supply chain with world class products coming from all over the Asian region plus their steadfast capability to deliver right at your doorstep. ABSCBN's whole media and online arm is one of the country's best and they'll have that part of the bargain taken cared of.

CJ O Shopping Corporation's CEO Lee Hae Sun stated that the Philippines prove to be one of the largest markets in Southeast Asia. They have already been doing so good in other countries and it's time that they invest in a country where shopping and convenience should be a way of life. They'll do just that with the help of ABSCBN as a great partner to enter something that they've been wishing for all along.

The dry run had very encouraging results and sales have been evidently good according to the local managers and they are preparing to release more products soon. O Shopping's lineup include kitchen, home, exercise and beauty products. I must say, I'm very tempted to purchase those pots and pans, plus the exercise equipment. I can cook while working out LOL

They even tried to order for us through phone and we got the shock of our life when we got the package after a minute. The delivery guy suddenly appeared!

See? It's just a call away, it's stress free and you can even check out its features running on 24/7 daily programs through Sky Cable or Global Destiny... or watch it on free TV through Channel 2 and 23 on the wee hours o the morning. Now we can be at par with China, Japan, India, Turkey, Thailand, and Vietnam; let's shop at the comforts of our own home! Call 800-0000, 800-1000 or 800-7000 now!
