It's been a while since I received a care package, and this one's pretty special. I'm not into healthy stuff but I found them pretty good. This is One Juice Green Tea Powdered Drink Mix. I love the ones that are usually served in Japanese restaurants and off stores but this one looks a little different. Aside from the usual green tea, it also has Garcinia Cambogia which is a tropical fruit that can block things in your body that can make fat. It also raises your brain's level of seratonin which then makes you feel a little less hungry. There are also studies that resulted some help of this ingredient in making insulin and bad cholesterol levels lower. It also has Stevia, the leaves that some people use to replace sugar. That may mean you'll get healthier in the long run because it's effect in sugar levels plus, it's also not addictive. This drink isn't too sweet though, I also take it cold. I also drank this while having a meal. Instead of just water, wouldn't this be a great alternative than softdrinks? Way lower sugar content too.

This is the Ravissante Whitening Lotion. Now don't get me wrong, I don't use artificial things to whiten my skin, and I don't really think anything's wrong with that. The thing is, we've all got dark spots here and there right? We just want our skin to look a little even and a little help from whitening lotions like these would just make things faster. It also doesn't cost that much (around 900 I think) but you get the effect you need to make that darkening spots go away. Anything to make yourself more confident and sure of yourself I think isn't really a luxury... sometimes, it's a necessity. Wouldn't you want your date to notice how flawless your skin is? Or how about meeting with clients? You wouldn't want them to mistake it as hygiene problems right? This also has ingredients that's got effects of sunscreen and moisturizers. A bottle would just mean you're taking care of yourself, why won't you do it right?

It's a little uncomfortable to do that I know, but as they say, we have to fake it til we get it LOL which is a nice way to say we sometimes need to suffer a little to get ginormous effects. Though really, it's like just an ordinary soap when you use it. I used it like my old one and costs a little more than the usual brand because obviously, this one's special, and you get the benefits of the premium ingredients. It doesn't also hurt to try right? This might be the answer to your search for the fountain of youth. 

Last but not the least is the Le Meilleur Micro Diamond Scrub. They say this is not a facial scrub, not a cleanser either. They mentioned that this is much like an alternative to micro demabrasion which is often done in clinics. They also said this uses small crystals to lift dirt, oil and old, damaged or dead skin. It also contains vitamin A, C, E and glycolic acid so you get rid of those wrinkles and scars from acne damage. I don't have acne so I don't have a reference about that effect but it did whiten my skin a bit where applied. Mind you, I only have done it a few days (3x in a week to be exact) and if I'm seeing effects, you probably would too. It's not too greasy either, just massage lightly (especially in dark spots) and rinse it off later on. You'll probably see a little exfoliation but again, before you do use any beauty product it would be best to consult your doctor/physician. Mark Neumann's Character "Takgu" Finally Appears in Baker King

You've seen the past few weeks of Baker King shown on TV5. The show is adapted from a Korean drama which I had the chance to actually follow on KBS which is a Korean cable channel available locally too. I loved the plot, I loved the story, and I loved the way they made it in the original one so hearing that they're going to make Baker King done here, I had my doubts about how it would turn out. I know Mark Neumann since his stint with Artista Academy a few years back. With his good looks, pleasing demeanor, sculptured german physique, I knew he was going to make it big in the local showbiz industry. He's done countless shows, even lorded the Wattpad series in the same station. The happy network seemed to have gone his liking and since his Wattpad stories and shows have had remarkable viewing, TV5 must have thought of using this guy fully by making him star on his own show. Baker King is also his dream.

Mark will play the role of Takgu, a guy who's lived a very colorful life. He's the son of a mogul and his mother basically was poor and abused because the original wife of his Father basically made head way in making their lives miserable. They also tried to kidnap, hurt her, keep her in the sidelines most of the time and keep tons of secrets in between. The first few weeks tells us the story as they were just kids and it basically explains why Tagku, his brother, his mother and everyone else involved in their lives are how they are now, now that they've all grown up.

They'll also be romantically involved with some of the characters and they would end up with the ones they love, so in a nutshell Shaira Mae will be with Mark Neumann in the story. Akihiro Blanco will also be a little busy in this drama because his role is pivotal. There will be a lot of situations where their characters will have a lot of conflicts, much like what I've seen in the original Korean series because as TV5 puts it, they'll be making this story very similar to the original one. They deem not to change it because the concept is very nice already that it would be catastrophic to not show that in the Philippines.

In my neighborhood, Kamuning Bakery basically is the oldest bake shop because they've been there since 1939. They bake tons of stuff that I grew up with and they went here to basically have Mark try and show us a few things he learned in baking workshops. He did it for this role but he told us that he fell in love with it and maybe even plan to pursue a business like it in the future. When he teased some of the press members about showing them his pandesals, they thought of something else but seeing how much effort went in to making this in front of us that day, it made us feel how Mark would definitely give Takgu's role justice. Landing this was even made with stern hard work, it was just something he hoped for in the past and TV5 trusted him with this part. We felt he was very thankful for the opportunity and hopes he doesn't disappoint the same people who has helped him land this role.

He got his hands dirty and made dough from Flour, Water, Yeast and a little salt. They also had butter, Sugar, creamed and mixed it up to form it in a ball. They let it rest and cut it into little pieces. Et voila! You have Mark Neumann's Pan De Sal!

He was also very happy while doing it. He says that in order to make good bread, you must have passion, you must feel happy while doing it because once you bite into something that you make while you're sad, the customer will also feel that way too. You'll see them cry because it wasn't made for a good reason. This is something that you'll learn from the master bakers of Baker King.

Oh and if you see weird stuff like how much the Korean culture is a bit respectful of the matriarchs, please understand that this is how it is in Korea.

You'll see him bake, you'll see him fight, you'll see him love and be a responsible man in the end. Today would be a good time you follow his story as we watch Baker King Mondays to Fridays at 9:30 PM on the happiest network in the Philippines, TV5!

Wattpad Presents: Secretly in a Relationship with a Gangster

Some new faces seen during the recent press conference of Wattpad Presents: Secretly in a Relationship with a Gangster. I already know Chanel Morales because she's from Artista Academy and the countless shows she's done in the past, whilst Mark Roque is the brother of Dominic from ABSCBN and I've seen Mark do support roles in previous Wattpad series too. Joshua Ouano on the other hand is pretty new, but he's included in the Candy Cuties from last year, which we were not surprised about because he does look the part. Joshua by the way is a model, doing stints here and there but he's based in Cebu and has German lineage. These guys and gal will be the personalities behind the characters of this week's episode of Wattpad Presents: Secretly in a Relationship with a Gangster.

Joshua and Mark are pretty much considered newbies since Chanel has done quite a lot of Wattpad projects in the past.. 

 

She says "Honestly, I didn't really feel quite burdened because I can feel how much effort they put into their characters, they even approach me so we could throw lines and practice which I never really see sometimes in people who have been doing Wattpad projects in the past. Every time the Director asks us to do something, they really delve in the scene and I don't feel they get lost during the shoot at all. Joshua and Mark are in the scene and if there's something that they want to do aside from those in the script, they really tell me so we could execute it right after. Aki has a new love team, I'm comfortable with him but we're still together in "Happy Truck Ng Bayan". I'm not in love right now, I don't have a boyfriend. If I were to choose, I'd really love to have one. My ideal guy would be matured, responsible and very family oriented. If Aki did court me, there's a chance but he's already got a new love team. He told me I was the one who had a new guy as a partner so I was okay with it after we talked. I feel he's into me too (then we laughed). Maybe it would be exciting to have a gangster boyfriend but not to the point that I have to join gang wars. I think it's the characteristics of being macho, being very manly that would attract me to a gangster if ever. I still want to do romcoms, I did it in previous Wattpad projects... Happy Truck would make us do other things like performing with a live audience and I hope that goes a long way because it's a dream for me. We have matured, we don't compete with my other compatriots in Artista Academy. It's positive to see blessings are coming to everyone and if we succeed in different fields, we're still maintaining that friendship with the top 6. That's not going to go away, because we've been together in this journey. There are no kissing scenes though. I know this makes me a little nervous and I contact all my fan clubs. My folks in Bacolod also do their thing to release statements, everyone in Visayas and Mindanao, I hope they all help promote this week's episode. I like Joshua's eyes, his skin, while Mark looks really good with his built, his stance, they're both cute. If I'd had to do kissing scenes with them, OKAY! (then we all laughed again)"
