We've visited the set of Buena Familia and consequently it's also the birthday of young PPop and KPop trained actor Julian Trono. He's one of the most humble and approachable guys I've ever ment in the GMA stable and I must say, he's one heck of a talented guy. He's put in the KPOP thing on the side to do this project for GMA and he was excited to do this. He said he had to do it because training for that means he had to do it everyday, and it's no joke. Although now that he's got a bit of free time he'll probably be back on training since he's been freed on some days of the week. He'll use that specifically for the work needed to sharpen his repertoire. Here's our interview of the good looking guy, he talks about his character Edwin in the show:
(please watch on HD, I spent 2 days uploading the videos!)
I mentioned earlier that it's his birthday, so we asked why is he at work? Here's what he said about celebrating his birthday and what he wants on his special day.
Buena Familia will show on GMA's Afternoon Prime right after Half Sisters.
These ladies had their birthdays on September 1, but we celebrated it with street children from Payatas a few days ago at their new restaurant North Wing located in Maginhawa Street in Quezon City. They just opened but started with this cause because they figured it would be nice to do something good on their birthday. Louise Delos Reyes is currently doing Marimar and My Faithful Husband. Arianne Bautista on the other hand is busy with her hosting stints, several guestings on GMA shows and also managing a few restaurants in her belt. Now that the kids are here, they want to spend time with them and instead of Louise and Arianne gettings gifts, they're sharing their blessings.
You can see them really happy with the turnout and the kids played games, while they joined too in the fun. They also gave them prizes, burgers, Zagu, chicken and pizza courtesy of North Manila and their sponsors.
The kids loved the toys and goodies that Louise, Arianne and GMA Artist Center prepared for them. I'll be writing about North Wing in a separate post, they deserve it! Meanwhile, here's the interview we did with Louise. She also includes some thoughts about her role in My Faithful Husband plus her role in opening a new restaurant with her business partner Arianne:
Then after that, we talked to Arianne about this event and why they chose kids as beneficiaries, she also adds why they did put up North Wing in Maginhawa:
Arianne is really very business minded. Imagine, she's just a few years in this industry and she's got several businesses already. She's also happily committed with a non showbiz boyfriend which she says has really influenced her to do good with her restaurants.
Arianne and Louise also made sure the kids are fed well, we saw how happy they were when they left because they all got full from the lovely food they served that afternoon.
Stephanie Sol also hosted the event. She's a good friend to Louise and Arianne (since Arianne and Steph were launched at the same time). The kids enjoyment were a priority and since they had fun, Louise and Arianne were both happy after the event. I'll be writing about North Wing on a separate post, you'll love it there too!
After filling countless mall shows, after releasing an independently
produced album, after getting lovely sales on what initially was project
between friends, I felt so extremely happy for her when I heard she was
having a concert. She's Glaiza De Castro, and she'll be dishing out her
brand of music on October 3 at the new Music Museum. She's excited and extremely happy about how things turned out and she's not stopping there. She's got a dream and she's doing everything to make that come true. This was the opportune time to do it. So before a throng of press people and bloggers a few days ago, she whipped out her guitar, laid out the sheets and had us marvel on the pure unadulterated Glaiza De Castro brand of music. It was like I could feel her emotions overflow with every verse, every word she uttered that evening. Glaiza and her band seemed to lose themselves in the moment and with great gusto, because it's love, revenge, heartbreak, happiness, sadness, like a rollercoaster ride of emotions. This is the same kind of thing they'll be doing in the concert so if you've loved her all these years, this may be the one time she's expecting you to be there.
The talented Glaiza even played songs from her album Synthesis which she says is dedicated to all the people behind the album who made time, effort to make her lyrics, her music. It's a hodgepodge of people from different walks of life, from celebrity friends whom she never even anticipated would be part of it. Here's two videos from the blogcon:
Here are other shots of Glaiza during her performance and interview:
She's lovely, she's talented and she's never going to let go of that dream. She's taking it by the tail and spinning it around, making this moment rightfully hers on October 3, 2015 at the Music Museum in Greenhills. Let's all support Glaiza and her great guests Rhian Ramos, Jay R, Aiza Seguerra, Kitchie Nadal and Ms. Regine Velasquez. For tickets, please visit http://glaizaredux.com/ and make sure you get one. I saw some sections are sold out already so hurry!
