LG Unleashes World's First Curved OLED TV

We checked out the LG event in Ascott in BGC as they announced the world's first Curves 4K OLED TV. This new technology called 4K Ultra High Dynamic Range has continued to be used by different brands but making it in a curved fashion is an industry first. 

Imagine the perfect pitch black, a richer color contrast, more richer and vibrant colors in a leage which would put LCD and LED to shame. It's also got self lighting pixels that manages to go on and off and do it individually. The LG OLED TV can also do full HD resolution, has their own Art Slim design, and views which you can have perfect viewing with in any angle. They promise to be the significant leader in technological innovations in this industry and believes they'll still be delivering these OLED innovations around the world. They've won countless awards like the Honoree CES Innovation Award 2015, a glimmering 5 star review in Digital Trends, and a Best. Picture Ever Comment in popular CNET.

SLAMCI Launches "Slam the Scam" With Matteo Guidicelli

Part of Sun Life's advocacy is financial literacy. They do this in hopes free Filipinos from investment scams through SLAMCI (Sun Life Asset Management Company Inc.). The lack of knowledge and having everyone else claim they are experts will just have a large number of people be fooled of their hard earned money. That's why they're launching a campaign called "Slam the Scam".

Atty. Lalaine Monserate from the Securities and Exchange Comission was a little emotional while she was speaking in front because she's in the frontlines talking to farmers, teachers, OFW's, retirees, people who have only gotten their life savings by working their whole life and be fooled by several unscrupulous individuals. She is a little disheartened because it doesn't matter whether you're rich, poor or has masters, they all fall to ponzi and pyramid schemes. She says if it's too good to be true, then chances are it isn't. This is why Sun Life is coming out with ads by Matteo Guidicelli. He's gonna be in several channels like print, radio, TV, or the internet. Matteo will share to you how he personally invests his money wisely. He starts that by doing it with a company with good record and integrity. He also believes in investing for the long term and he wants this to be something that would help our hardworking fellow Filipinos as he knows there are a lot of theives who prey on them on a daily basis. He says it's essential to raise awareness about this agreement. For the first salvo, they've got videos sharing some tips on how to spot a scam. 

This is Billions of pesos that they are talking about here and it's no joke. The government can only do so much and this help from a private company is a welcome thing. I hope people learn a thing or two especially if they're already in it now. More so if the scheme doesn't have anything sold and they're not doing it for commissions, that's one red flag and if you feel you're a victim please visit and get in touch with the SEC.

The advent of social media also became a problem with SEC as they don't have paper trails, no offices, no registrations, no face to face transactions. I saw the ads during the launch and I find it really good, a fun way to tell people how not to be fooled by just following tips seen on the Slam the Scam campaign. The nominees for the RAWR Awards was a result of a poll they made a few months back. After voting and deliberation, they came out with this list which they think currently represents fan favorites. There are actually new names, they also included several fan clubs in the mix to see who'd best support their celebrity/idols. They also mentioned that some of the stars nominated will be at the awards show so if you're itching to see them in the flesh, you better follow their social media accounts so you can secure tickets to the show to be held at the Meralco Theater.

  

They divided the awards show in three segments, one is the CUB Awards which includes Fan Club of the Year, Viral Video of the Year, Fashionable Celebrity of the Year, Online Influencer of the Year, Character of the Year, Presenter/Host of the Year, and Quote of the Year. The second one is the LION Awards which is for the Trending Love Team of the Year, Male Celebrity of the Year, Femal Celebrity of the Year, Male Newcomer/Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Female Newcomer/Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Male Performer of the Year, Female Performer of the Year, Movie of the Year, TV Show of the Year, and Advocacy Pusher of the Year. The last one is called Pride Awards which consists of your Favorite TV Station, Favorite FM Radio Station and Favorite AM Radio Station. You just have to vote on their website starting today November 4, up until November 30, 2015. Bea Binene Celebrates Her Debut Tonight

Tonight sparks Bea Binene's 18th birthday and last week, we were at her grand press conference to see a glimpse of what was about to happen tonight. Bea was indeed happy with the arrangements and judging from the reactions they got from the past few episodes of her show in GMA News TV every Saturday at 11:30AM, she's going to have grand time even though this is an intimate birthday party at the Manila Hotel. #LegallyB is all about her journey to womanhood, she'll also be doing a lot of firsts and share them via this video diary together with her showbiz friends, relatives, and family.
