Smart Launches New Flagship Stors in SM Megamall

For all things new, Smart certainly won't be left out! The largest telecommunications company with the huge subscriber base just recently launched their new concept store in SM Megamall. Donned with high tech visual displays and customer kiosks, you can now have a more customer centric store at the heart of Mandaluyong City. They used touch screen panels for the usual services, making it easy for those who are changing sim cards, paying bills, changing customer information which you can do in a jiffy.

PLDT Chairman Manny Pangilinan himself tried the stations himself and was pleased at the multitude content available for Smart and Spinnr subscribers. You can easily listen and watch the shows right in the showroom and if you like it, you can get it via your account with friendly Smart personnel assisting you.

If you can do it on your own, it's easy with just a few taps. If you want to change your name or billing address you can do that too. I even had the privilege of watching my favorite band in the world Eraserheads perform their hit songs in 4 different screens, it was surreal!

Smart's representative adds "Why are we here? We're here to talk to consumers with a new world class, new designed store. We're after an immersive one, we want consumers to be engaged. If you are a smart subscriber, we will show you love and hope, but if you are not yet a smart subscriber, you will see the light. You've seen the interactive screens, you've seen the content, the connected fam cam, what is this journey all about? It's this new sleek store, the people who will run it and the ones that genuinely care for you. This is the new Smart!"

If you want to see it in the flesh, just go to the new Smart store at the SM Cyberzone at the 4th Floor of SM Megamall. There are tons of seats and you can watch the videos the whole day so you won't get bored while availing Smart's great services! You'll really love it!

BLK513 Opens in SM North Edsa: First 200 Customers FREE!

Just had to write about this today because BLK513 is giving away FREE products this September 8th. I think I've seen their branch in Megamall but this one is new. It's right beside the JCO store and across the Cinemas at the 2nd Floor of SM North Edsa's Main Building. BLK513 has got those lovely Black Yogurt selling like hotcakes in the malls and with good reason. I've tasted it earlier and if you think HEALTHY, that's the perfect personification of it. It's black because of Activated Charcoal, an ingredient that whitens teeth, cures gas and bloating. It also prevents hangovers, and all those healthy stuff (must be taken with water). Now that it's mixed with a healthier version of yogurt, it's going to be even better as it's gluten free.

The lovely products inside the store include cookies, crunchy vegan granola which you can also mix with your yogurt concoction.

Thanks to Seph Cham for introducing us to the owners, and also inviting us to the launch. As you can see he likes it a LOT. We tried two things while inside the store, the Black Yogurt and the Skim Milk topped with roasted cacao beans. An original, it actually goes well together.

To make one you have to choose one crunchy ingredient, two fruits, and one syrup. 

I chose the Malt Sandwich for the crunch as it's reminiscent of Milo turned into cookies. I also got that lovely Dragon Fruit and the sweet golden mangoes because I wanted something tangy and sweet to begin with. 

Then I chose Nutella Fudge for my syrup and added the Espresso Coffee (yes you can get additional syrup for a few pesos more) if you want your Black Yogurt to be more fancy. I loved it!

Well here's more good news, if you're in SM North Edsa and want to experience BLK531, first 200 customers get free Yogurt all on the house! Star Music Launches "My Name Is Ylona Garcia"

She started singing when she was a kid and now that she's a teenager, a superstar at that, she's ready to get you fall in love with her music and this is her debut album called "My Name Is Ylona Garcia". 

"I wanna go to L.A., but I don't realy have much to ask for. I like Sarah Geronimo and her songs but these songs on the album are chosen to fit me, different tempo, some band like, it's like a full arrangement and very grand. There are a few ballads, then an alternative. I'm only 14, "grabe!". I guess it's inspirational, very much dedicated to my family and my fans. I took singing lessons, I also did front acts for other Filipino artists who came to Australia too, it's a blessing to have an album even if I'm only 14 years old." said Ylona.

"OPM is fun, different from what I listen to in Australia. I just wish that Filipino writers would just stay true to themselves and make more great ones. My favorite track is the prelude song "My Name Is Ylona Garcia" because I composed it just recently. The song Don't Say Goodbye is done as an homage of PBB because we always had to do that every time a person leaves the house or evicted. I don't really have a process, I just write what I feel and it comes out."

"Names like Marion Aunor, Nica Del Rosario, Moira Dela Torre and inspirational diva Ms. Jamie Rivera wrote the songs so we worked with Star Music and met halfway as far as arranging the songs is concerned. Bailey is somewhat involved in this, 50/50, because in creating one song you need inspiration, let's just leave it at that. Being compared to Ariana, she's her own thing and Ylona is also a different person. I've been bullied when I was a kid because of the color of my skin but you just have to be strong. I love singing Not Yo Bae because it's empowering. I would love to work with Bailey, he's like my best friend. I would want to also work with Bugoy Drilon and KZ Tandingan, sorry I'm really bad at pronouncing names, oh and Bailey of course!" she adds.

Max Collins Celebrates Birthday with Closest Fans!

Having been able to witness how Max Collins' career has flourished over the years is just an understatement. The gorgeous actress took some time off of her busy schedules and made it a point to spend some time with some of the nicest people to boot, her adoring fans. Last year, she was able to celebrate her birthday with them and a couple of her friends over at Makati's West Rembo district. Together with Pink Women on Fire, they took care of under privileged children in a day of story telling and giveaways. She's no stranger to these causes but felt that this year could be different and should be dedicated to her supporters who have always been there from the start. They didn't even leave her at times when she couldn't even say hi or hello personally because of work. She and GMA Artist Center prepared a day of pampering at a local nail salon in Quezon City to make sure they felt how important they were for Max.

Aside from getting them manicure and pedicure treatments, Max also made the party fun by playing some short games with her fans. She never said no to a selfie either. It was intimate and pretty good to see they enjoyed it!

I then sat down with Max for a short interview. What astounds me to know is that she's actually getting inclined with business. She's got a lot on her plate right now but she wants to make these plans all come true in the next few years. Listen in!

Happy and eager to support Max, they went home with a smile on their faces. That's what Max wanted all along!

Max has some pretty good projects right now in GMA. She's in Encantadia, and recently Someone To Watch Over Me with Tom Rodriguez and Lovi Poe. Make sure you watch the show on primetime as it will replace Juan Happy Love Story which starred Dennis Trillo and Heart Evangelista.
