You Can Now Fly to Shanghai with Air Asia

Saturday, November 19, 2016

I personally don't like Shanghai or China, I have been there once. But for those who adore skyscrapers or different cultures, an immersion to one of the closest countries in the Philippines may prove to be a good trip if you're looking for a place to take a vacation for sight seeing and perhaps food. They say this is the Paris of the East but I think it's just another city to go to. It's easier too because Air Asia flies there now which they have not done before. From Pudong, Shanghai Disney Land, shopping destinations and world renowned retail brands, they've got them all lined up in waterside promenades and cityscapes. You would love to be in the midst of it all when in Shanghai. I could say I survived it even without knowing a single chinese word by learning the art of pointing and picutres, I could ace those funny board games now!

You won't have a hard time finding food too because they have tons of convenience stores, local restaurants that have legit chinese food plus their own version of hawker stalls established way beyond your lifetime perhaps. There are also some river trips, villages and tons of temples that's picturesque, without regretting just seeing them on postcards. That's quite a feat already.

The good news is, that's not the only city that Air Asia goes to. You can choose to do your selfies, landscape shots at Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, or some of my favorites like Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Siam Reap and Bali because Air Asia also flies there. These days, you can go anywhere and only spend a few bucks because they've got promos that would fit your budget so you've got more money for shopping and tons of places to go to in these countries. You can also get discounts on tours because you're flying the best economy airline that's won accolades to begin with.

Check out this post from them a couple of days ago!

Told yah!

Aljur Abrenica and Janine Gutierrez for URL

GMA's groundbreaking interactive show Usapang Real Love (Talks of Real Love) is making waves as it adds another installment with a cute light drama, romantic comedy with hunk Aljur Abrenica and Janine Gutierrez. Janine admits she's quite new to the genre and she sometimes couldn't deliver lines because she'd laugh before she could utter the words during the scene. I wouldn't blame her, the teasers actually tell a lot when they showed it to us that afternoon. Imagine having a crush, then finding out you would have to battle it out with him just so you could get your promotion. Would you choose love or career? We got Janine to answer that, lightly, not pertaining to you know.

We also talked to Aljur Abrenica, we also had a separate video where we asked him about his relationship with Kylie Padilla. I didn't know they got back together until he kinda cut me in one question and said he wasn't single. They got back together after two years, and said they didn't really had that much separation as they still kept in touch all those years. That's so nice to hear.

Janine also mentioned how near he is to the persona of Aljur's character. He's the type of guy that would always pick on the ladies if he likes them a lot. Here's our interview.

Here's his statement about getting back together with Kylie.

Meanwhile we also got to talk to the supporting cast. They've got a lot of conflict to contribute to the story and it all stems on their respective teams rather than the individual characters in the story. They are somewhat divided by their bosses, a little uncomfortable for them but they believe in their leaders so much they'd fight for them.

As for Mikoy Morales, he's also going to be releasing a new single very soon. The very talented actor is an accomplished song writer and singer, who has an album still out in the market. It's self produced mind you, so when it's going to be part of another GMA show, we don't have to wonder why he's there. We just listen.

Anyway, URL is showing on November 27, up until December 18 and shows every Sunday at 5PM. Make sure you catch the show!

Kristofer Martin, Derrick Monasterio, TOP Receives Awards

Having been able to do things in front of the cam might have been rewarding for artists but Kristofer Martin, Derrick Monasterio and TOP One Project has been doing the legwork since their respective careers started on GMA's stable.

Kristofer, is not a stranger to show business and started at an early age in the other channel. He's been awarded a few but this one from PMPC proved how he's worked hard these couple of months and how he wanted to hone his craft as an actor. He got the nod of the press club for his portrayal in a Magpakailan Man episode done a few months ago. You could feel how enormously eager he is to still learn despite winning this even if he's well rewarded and trusted with shows by GMA. I'm sure he'll have more accolades to his belt with ease and get a lot of attention with the KrisJoy pairing that's being given a title of #ExGoals at times they're seen on screen. I love Kris and Joyce so much, I was a little rude during the question and answer trying to get Kris to answer my questions, for that I have to apologize. But remember I love you two! Congratulations again on the Best Single Performance by an Actor Award!

Derrick Monasterio can no longer call himself a newbie as he's now the recipient of the New Male Recording Artist of the Year for 2016, also by PMPC. This good looking boy is an eye candy, has unbelievable charm that would sweep girls off their feet. He's also starring in the show Tsuperhero which you can watch every Sunday pre-primetime on GMA. His outlook on his career probably came true because of how he is VERY driven. I interviewed him about his singing in the past and this was one thing he would want to achieve, how fortunate could he be? He's blessed because I believe he's one of the most humble, very sincere guys who want to succeed in things he wants to do. I personally want him to do just that, and be blessed because he deserves it.

TOP One Project comprised of Adrian Pascual, Joshua Jacobe, Louie Pedroso, Mico Cruz and Miko Manguba has already done a successful concert at the Music Museum. Aside from that, they've got a brand new spanking album, a surprise music video and now they're being rewarded for it. They just got the Group of the Year Award from the same award giving body and it didn't come at the most opportune time because they've been supported sternly by the network, GMA Artist Center and the throngs of fans who believe in them. The boy band has already impressed a lot of people with their undeniable talent in singing, their choreography and knack to produce original music. They've also kept humble all these years and they're still improving, they're not done yet even if they already won an award mind you. That just signals there will be MORE things to come to these guys very soon!

Here's our interview with the guys over at GMA's blogcon a few weeks ago. Enjoy!

Do You Remember Prince Stefan?

If you haven't seen Working Beks yet, you should. It's funny, but has a bigger message underneath that it's trying to get across. This is my first time to actually get to sit down and interview one of its cast members and I know he's the talk of the town. Do you remember Prince Stefan of Starstruck? Well he's the same actor, good looking, a little more buff now and consequently he was  outed by comedienne Keanna Reeves of PBB fame. Remember her?

Anyway, here's Prince Stefan now. He's happy with his career, very confident, outspoken, adonis like and he's not single. I've got thousands of views on Youtube alone on this interview, which probably means there are a LOT of people that are quite interested about this guy. I don't blame them, not at all.

Working Beks is a story about the careers of different types of gay guys. It's humorous, but still passes on a message of how they are still driven by the love for their family, their relationships and the pressures of society. Watch the movie as it is still showing on November 27. This is produced by VIVA films!

Here's the cast inviting you to watch the movie!
