IMPOSSIBLE: World's Greatest Magic Show at the Smart Araneta Coliseum

Wednesday, October 11, 2017

I have been a fan of magic since Mickey Mouse did it on The Sorcerer's Apprentice. I also watched reruns of David Copperfield and am still terrified of some of David Blaine's and Criss Angel. I've also watched some BBC shows online and have seen some of the best illusionists in Europe, and pretty much I've seen some AMAZING stuff that would get me sleepless for a few days. I'm sure I'm not alone, and if I would have the chance to see them in one place, I'd gladly do it in a heartbeat.

Now I don't  think I have to get and fly to Europe now just to see some of the World's best MAGICIANS because this afternoon, I got to see one of them in the flesh. Yes, it's Ben Hart. This gentleman from Hampshire is part of the act together with 6 other magicians as they bring IMPOSSIBLE which debuted in London's West End to Manila, Philippines.

Pleasing to the eyes, this chap had us giddy to actually talk to him about how he started. We also asked him about what to expect in the show that they are staging at the Araneta Coliseum from December 25 to January 3, 2018.

We sat down and he said "I really really enjoy magic and it's hard to say what's special about me, I started about 5 or 6 and did it professionally when I was about 16. It's amazing to have a job that you enjoy and earn from it, we know people are leaking secrets on social media and we have got to up our technology. Magicians are actually scientists, it becomes more challenging and difficult, we research a lot and get answers immediately"

We also asked what to expect on Christmas day and he said "On this show, I will be with Bello Nock is a really good daredevil, Magical Bones who is a street magician that does break dancing on show, Josephine Lee a brilliant female illusionist, Ali Cook who is a daring escapologist from UK, Chris Cox who is a mind reader. There are some great magicians in the world but these are currently some of the industry's best. Being around these magicians are inspiring, it takes a lot to do this, traveling internationally is great especially in this kind of work. I meet people and learn so much about people, you can feel the attitude of te culture when they are in front of you. I don't sit down to practice you just work on it and make it better most of the time. I want to go everywhere, I wanna keep going. My advice, is make magic for your audience and try to create something new in the way you present it."

Now we're not leaving the venue without us seeing the MAGIC itself, so Ben gladly showed us his tricks with our blogger friend Albert of Chikaness.

We had so much fun in just a few minutes of being there with this young lad. Now imagine if they were all there. That's exactly what you'll love to see in IMPOSSIBLE this Christmas day. Get tickets of the show via TicketNet.com.ph. Ticket prices are Php 1800, Php 1500, Php 1200, Php 800, Php 500 and Php 150 (plus ticketing charge). Or you may reserve via phone 911-5555 or 374-9999.

Thank you for this experience Wilbros Live and for producing the show!

Time Management Rules: How Much Time Do You Need To Spend Working?

Become More Productive With Proper Time Management Habits

The efficiency of 8-hour working day has been argued for a long time now, let alone those cases when the amount of time you spend working has no limits whatsoever. It may seem that you have no choice: that paper writing or those assignments won’t complete themselves. But the thing is, to be more productive you need to create a perfect balance of working hours and off-hours. Read on to learn more about time management rules.

Best Way To Organize Your Time

One recent research showed that workday length doesn’t really affect productivity in any significant way, but the way people organize their work hours does. People who regularly take small breaks from work show higher levels of productivity than those who work for hours in a row.

The perfect balance is 52 minutes of work followed by 17 minutes of rest followed by another 52 minutes of work… you get the idea. Try this method while doing some important and complex research writing – odds are you’ll notice how much more productive you get.

The only thing you have to remember if you do want to increase your productivity is forget about social media and private messages. During your breaks, do something that would distract you from work – read, do workouts, have a cup of tea. This will give you more energy to complete all the tasks during the upcoming hour of work.

Your Brain Will Tell You How To Be More Productive
Those who discovered this perfect balance of work and breaks show better results and easily catch up on competition. The thing is they’ve realized how to satisfy our brain’s fundamental needs. It is capable of working at full capacity for an hour and then its activity drops down. This decrease of activity lasts for approximately 15-20 minutes.

The best way to avoid exhaustion and all kinds of distractions is to divide your workload in portions.

So instead of working on something until you just can’t focus on your task, listen to what your body tells you. Tiredness or desire to get distracted may be a sign that tells you that you need a break. Your list of essay topics can wait. Relax and forget about your work for a short period of time.

Main Rules of Productive Working Day Organization

Correct time management will help you improve your performance at work, no matter how many hours a day you spend working. If you work on your tasks and assignments during your natural activity peaks, it will be easier for you to deal with large amounts of work. Here are four main tips on how to do this right:
  1. Work diligently during that hour and divide your tasks into several separate stages based on your working hour sessions. As a rule, we plan to complete our tasks or projects by the end of the day, week, or month. However, practice shows that your performance efficiency increases when we focus on something we can do right here, right now. Correct working schedule will not only help you work out your own productivity rhythm; it will also make massive tasks look more doable.

  2.   Focus on your work completely. You need to pay all your attention and your every effort to what your work on during your activity hour. If you constantly get distracted by something, it will be of no use.

  3. Make sure you relax properly during your breaks. Those who find a way to completely detach themselves from thoughts about work during their breaks work more productively afterwards. To increase your productivity, take a break and stay away from your computer, your smartphone and from thinking of your work. Take a walk, read a book, chat to a friend. When there’s just too much of work, the temptation to use your break to make calls or write emails is great but remember that this won’t let you relax properly.

  4. Don’t wait until the moment your body will make you take a break. It will be too late, you’ll miss a planned break and get off track. In that case you’ll need more time for restoring the proper working hours/off-hours balance.
Follow these simple rules and your productivity will increase. You’ll improve your performance and feel much better overall. It is a great way to deal with large workload faster without resorting to outside help. Give this a try – and you’ll forget about contacting custom essay services.

Aiai Delas Alas Endorses HOBE Quick Cook Noodles

Last week had me noticing how Ms. Aiai Delas Alas has been very visible endorsing brands and products left and right. She was doing that while promoting a movie called Bes and the Beshies under Regal Films and Cineko Productions. I felt the sense of thankfulness and dedication as she attributes all these projects to God because she's sharing a lot through her charities and also help building a Basilica (not just a church!) in Manila. She feels it's her life mission, and true enough she's so blessed.

We asked her about renewing her endorsement with HOBE Quick Cook Noodles and she says "I am so happy and he's very good to me (Bobby Co, owner of Hobe Bihon). He is very supportive and as long as he needs me I will be here for Hobe. We started with buses, pretty soon we will do market tours. We have been together for three years and I consider this as a blessing from God, I love how this happens because I have some set aside for my charities. I cook pasta, bulalo, tacos, but quick cook noodles are so easy to prepare and if you're busy and in a hurry, this would be a good thing to have in your homes."

Mr. Co on the other hand shared the good news and said "We have new plans with Aiai as we go out on the streets, trade fairs, US and Asian countries. We are going to have a lot of projects with her now that she's on her third year. We have grown up to 50% sales when she came in the picture. We are very thankful for that. Our product is made of cornstarch, we have better products because we don't use flour. Max's, Aristocrat, Dencios, Chicken Deli is using our products. Right now we are exporting our products in the US, Europe and we are probably going to have her there too. In Chinese it means good taste, we are so proud to have introduced this in the north because it sells quite better in Isabela and northern provinces. We will be studying if we can have a spicy version, or one with Malunggay leaves to fortify it with nutrition and we are raring to do that perhaps soon."

Now I took the liberty of cooking with the HOBE Quick Cook Bihon this evening for dinner and I think I know why people love this one. It's not that starchy type that we're used to eating when cooking Bihon per se, it made so much sense because it's not mushy, it's firm, you can feel it in every fork swirl. I think that's why it's been selling quite good as Mr. Co said earlier, and they are very happy with Ms. Aiai being seen in every pack they sell. They see her as a caring Mom, she really cooks and even promised to cook for us soon. Congratulations Ms. Aiai! Congratulations on your endorsement and thanks for the instant noodles you gave us this morning, I'm putting it into good use.

I'm cooking and eating it today!

Dermairis Korean Skin Mask Now Available in the Philippines

Sunday, October 08, 2017

Have you been to South Korea? Have you seen and had friends/family that raved about the Myeong-dong district? Chances are, they are probably raving about Korean skin care and that is at the center of it in Seoul. It's not just there, but all over the world and I'm so glad products from the land of the morning calm are now accessible in the Philippines. I usually buy them off drug stores here in Manila and use them before I go off to sleep, probably like the rest of you guys.

Skin being the largest organ should always be taken cared of because it actually tells how you take care of yourself, nobody wants to look old like a prune right? JW CreaGen, a well respected Korean pharmaceutical and cell therapy company came out with Dermairis Mask so you could achieve a that Korean glass skin. It's the state that is mostly sought after by consumers in Korea that makes it all well hydrated and almost translucent skin. KPOP stars, KDrama actors and actresses often appear like they don't have pores, almost flawless by any standards. The thing that makes this effective is a combination of technologies in cosmetic and pharmaceutical work they put into it. Particularly the JW-EGF (CTP-EGF) and AMF (Artificial Moisturizing Factor) which is the way they moisturize the skin, and EGF or Epidermal Growth Factor that hastens cell and skin regeneration. They even patented it.

Dermairis Mask employs 4 in 1 skin benefits starting from Moisturizing, Anti-wrinkle, Skin Elasticity and Whitening. They have different components in one facial mask that takes care of these problems and takes care of it if you use the product twice a week for 4 weeks to have about 25% of proper moisture on your skin, then keeps it in.

For those who want to have this on their regimen, you may purchase this at leading skin care shops, wellness stores, skin clinics and more. It's available in 2 variants, the Dermairis Blue which has got air pockets that contain nutrients and retails for only Php 70. and the Dermairis Pink which has soft microfibers which retails for Php 150. I would get both if I'd get my hands on it. We need to look good you know!

We don't have to look old just to say we're matured. Men need it too.
