The choices for fashion is endless, and what better way to showcase that but with HOLIDAZE, a Shang Fashion Show. Set at the mall's Grand Atrium, they brought out the best of the best clothing, shoes, fashion items from some of the best brands they carry inside Rustans for example, I could talk about it lengthily but I'd rather show you the ware.

If you like Adora, Joe Fresh, Debenhams, Old Navy, Porsche Design, Paul & Shark, Repetto, British India, Stradivarius, Zara, Gap, Marks and Spencer, Arrow, K & Company, Daniel Hechter, Anne Klein, Van Laack, Brooks Brothers, Mico Boutique, Styled, The Park and others, you're in for a treat because the divided collections into two shows and we've covered the 7PM event. Selfie Centric Vivo V7 Set To Launch November 18

It's been a few months since they have launched the Vivo V7+ and people then were asking, where is the Vivo V7? True enough, after a long wait, Vivo just hinted the launch of Vivo V7 slated this November 18 at different locations in the country. I'm sure you appreciate how they're doing this because I know how big of a market Visayas and Mindanao is. This also isn't going to be easy to challenge because apart from the good smartphone camera and audio quality, the Vivo V7, promises to be a powerful phone with a 5.7 inch all screen display with fingerprint scan security and a clear selfie driven 24MP front camera and a 16MP rear camera that is rumored to perform exceptional photography shots even in low light conditions. It's also going to have a lower than market expected price point, so you'll be surprised if it comes out soon.

Expect a lot of their celebrity endorsers to also appear and perform a few song and dance numbers. You just wait!

Meet Jelai Espino

Tuesday, November 14, 2017

We ventured all the way to the east of Manila to take a glimpse of Jelai Espino, an up and coming artist from this side of town. She's on her grade 7, studying at San Beda College Taytay Rizal and her parents Butch and Bing Espino couldn't be more proud to see their daughter getting traction on her latest single "Huwag Mong Biruin" which was written and composed by Vehnee Saturno. She was able to undergo music lessons with the veteran and prolific composer and did several acting workshops including ones under Star Magic and Ogie Diaz. At 15 years old, most teens probably are just still playing but she's serious avout what she wants to happen with her career and she's not holding up!

She was under the weather but she wanted to do this. She was overwhelmed about getting to do a single with Vehnee Saturno. Jelai says "Eversince we met she was always  kind, she gave me a lot of advise. She saw me in a different way, and Ms. Aiai kept me under her wing. I would like to try drama, but after doing a ton of workshops with Sir Ogie, Star Magic and Ms. Aiai. She also introduced me to Vehnee Saturno and they really tested me, had several meetings and that's how I ended up with the single. My genre is mostly childish, the kind of puppy love who wants attention, so it's like cute love song. I like Ms.Vilma and I would like to get to know her if possible. Her kind of acting is what I would like to emulate. But if I'd be in a love team I wish to also get to work with Daniel Padilla or James Reid. If needed, I could also adjust my schedules studying and a career in showbiz. I have done modeling stints and in a nutshell I've done several already in the past which made me have a little more confidence, even in commercials and brands that believe in me. I take care of myself, drink lots of water and take care of my skin. I also take lots of sleep if needed. I want to take up law, medicine if my schedules permit it. I know it takes a long time to succeed. I also sing, I do ballet but I want to do a lot in show business. I also love KPOP, and if ever I'll perform in the future I'll have something in that nature. Maybe if all else fails, I will still have a few things I could work on including a brand that my family also has in Glomar Herbal Philippines. I am ready to face the consequences because Ms. Ai already told me how to handle negative feedback and constructive criticism. In the workshops, I already learned how to deal with people, and in a way I don't honestly know what opportunities are in my way. But if it's going to work, I can sacrifice a lot of things just to get there. I want to also get to sing with Sarah Geronimo, if that happens I'll be happy."

She's very promising, very cute in person. She wishes to have a movie very soon and if the stars align for her, I'm sure even her family will be happy. Her single is available for download at digital stores, Astroplus, Astrovision and via Mr. Vehnee Saturno. She's got a lot on her plate and she's got the time to work on this career. You may follow her journey on her social media accounts.

We wish her well!

CinemaOne Originals Festival 2017 at Ayala Malls

I was surprised to see tons of people watch one of the Cinema One Originals Festival 2017 entry "Si Chedeng at Si Apple" starring Ms. Elizabeth Oropesa and Ms. Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz. It's one of several films that will be shown until November 21. So if you haven't seen any of the entries, now would be a good time to watch these films.

Trinoma was grand, I could imagine watching these too in Glorietta or in any Ayala Malls. Trinoma has dedicated Cinema 2 while Glorietta has Cinema 4 which will show these CinemaOne Originals Festival 2017 entries. So if you're raring to see other films like "The Third Member", "Cain at Abel", "L'Amant Double", "Nay", "Nervous Translation", "Paki", "Bundok Banahaw, Sacred and Profane", "Changing Partners", "Throwback Today", "Historiographika Errata", other previous remastered entries, some foreign films who also joined the screenings, and other short films, make sure you look up schedules in Trinoma and Glorietta. I like the movie "Si Chedeng at si Apple" most because of it's plot. The dramedy film really had some really serious scenes and you'll love how the banter between Chedeng and Apple show the values of friendship, love, second winds and relationships. Gloria Diaz became a little unfiltered, capable of being funny at times and completely having the audience hooked on their journey to find a lost lesbian love. I wouldn't want to spoil things for you so you better watch this film made by directors Fatrick Tabada and Rae Red.

Ms. Elisabeth Oropesa was impressive, fully immersing herself with a character that's full of flaws, but completely happy and contented with life, never even looked back after hooking up with a stranger (a fine looking man too). You'll love her and Chedeng, as they tick off things on their bucket list, you'll be eager to do the same thing with your life. Or maybe find a lost love in the process too.

The movies will be shown up until the 21st of November in Trinoma and Glorietta. It starts 12:20pm and screen the last ones around 9:50pm. Hurry because I've seen tickets got sold out last night with this one and the film Nay.

Watch them all this week please! :)
