WISH 107.5 Launches WISH CARD

It's a great morning so I come bearing WISH 107.5 news as they launch their very own WISHCARD in grand ceremonies at Power Mac Center Spotlight in Ayala Circuit Makati. Mind you there are perks that come with this card including freebies just by listening to the radio station, so in a sense it's all free! Not only that, you can get deals from different stores, shops in different places nationwide and you don't even have to lift a finger, just enjoy music!

The WishCard can now be downloaded off the App Store (soon as it is on review) and Google Play (download it now!) and if you do, you get to see all the latest news from the Wish 107.5 website on News Feed section, the Live Streaming section if you want to listen to it the whole day, plus Promos, Discounts and Rewards if you ramp up your rewards points on the app. Points are earned by listening to the WISH 107.5 station while DJ's announce the codes all day. It will work on a limited basis but as soon as the slots fill up, they win the points that the DJ's also mention. There are currently 30 merchants listed on the app so if you like free stuff and huge discounts, you know what to do!

During the launch, Sam Mangubat sang a male version of "Dadalhin" by Regine Velasquez. Pretty good! They also announced developments about the WISHCOVERY, that's still gaining a lot of following because the contest is still ongoing. I hope my bets are still in the running in that contest. The WISH Music Awards will happen on January according to the executives. Plus they will be the producer of Morisette Amon's first ever full concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. They are also constructing the second WISH BUS and will station it in Hollywood, I guess they're just being true to their word of being the gateway to the world!

Vivo V7 Launch in Bacolod City

If you haven't seen this photo, I'm sure you wouldn't believe it but man look at that crowd!

This is the Vivo V7 launch at the SM City Bacolod center. I've been here quite a number of times because it's my province too but man, this must have been overwhelming for them to do. One of the things that probably made them come is the chance to see the Vivo V7 up close. If you don't know, the Vivo V7 has a 24 MP front camera so you always get a clearer selfie. It also has got a 16MP Back Camera, a 5.7inch all screen display, quick Face ID access, it's own Funtouch OS 3.2, a 4GB RAM, a 32 GB ROM, Qualcomm Octa Core processor and a game mode where you can multitask while playing your favorite game. It also costs Php 14,990 which is a whole lot cheaper than other phones with the same specifications.

Boyband PH's Joao Constancia, Niel Murillo, Tristan Ramirez, Russell Reyes didn't let down because as soon as they got on stage, these guys danced like their life depended on it. Their fans surpassed that energy and went ballistic on the sidelines and the other floors of the very grand mall. It was like a concert of sorts and Vivo Philippines made it happen. They will introduce the same handset in different parts of the country and they will bring a lot of other artists too with them so you get to enjoy the features of the phone, and the entertainment these celebrities will bring you.

CASA IBARRA Opens In Pasay City

I couldn't count the times that I've been able to cover events, donned birthday parties, debuts, weddings at Ibarra's party venues and pretty much enjoyed their food too. Just recently, they invited us over to see CASA IBARRA, a new 2 floor events venue in Pasay City. It sits right across the Coral Way entrance of Mall of Asia Arena. I could see it from across the street and has got ample parking right beside it. The place can hold around 280 people for the two ballrooms down stairs, and around 350 on the more grand room on the top floor.

This is the side of the structure, the first photo above is the facade of the building. I've heard on the elevator that this was supposed to be built about one and a half year ago. Though I think they needed the extra time to spruce up the place, it felt all new when we got inside.

You'll be greeted on the first floor by this humongous painting which they actually commissioned from a Filipino French painter named Olivia d'Aboville entitled Homage to Monet. This looks absolutely stunning in real life, you can see people even took photos with it. Sweet!

This is the first floor which can be divided into two rooms. They can hold two events at the same time with no problem. One of the rooms have an ordinary staircase while the other has this one which actually lights up in different colors. It's a touch that they took a lot of time to construct. It looks amazing, they have their own designers that would set up the place for you because they want it to be all hassle free. These rooms are called Alegria and Hermosa.

If you look up, you'll see a modern Filipino designed ceiling and wall treatments that use a lot of wood on the second floor. The second floor houses their office plus the huge ballroom they call Sala de Amor which you'll see in a bit.

This is their office on the second floor wherein they hold cake and food tasting sessions for those who want to actually get their services. With the kind of food that they served that night, you would want to do this for fun. Let me show you their unbelievable menu.

They had this huge steel pan filled with the freshest catch in the ocean and thick crunchy rice in the bottom. Paella ala Ibarra anyone?
