GLOBALTRONICS Forges Partnership with JUMP Digital

Sunday, December 03, 2017

I'm sure your mind must have drifted so many times on Edsa, C5 and looked up those huge billboards to see the Globaltronics brand somewhere and perhaps know how much they've been a huge part of the advertising and digital tech industry over the years. They've been doing headway in Electronic LED displays, ad placements, partnered with local and international companies to get a grip of a huge market share in the Philippines and elsewhere in the world. We were invited over dinner for a thanksgiving session for the press and their corporate partners a few weeks ago so we got to know a couple of updates with the company itself- and their partner agencies that's undergoing changes and preparing a whole lot of events this coming 2018.

One of their partners JUMP Digital has already been growing their portfolio and has come in the most opportune time as they are gearing for more this coming year. Jed Marcaida the Jump Digital Founder and Chariman remarked "So for the 2018 Digital Arts Awards, we want to be more inclusive so we are introducing more categories. Globaltronics is bringing forth the Filipino talent and showcase it to the ASEAN region. We will go beyond our borders and will be ASEAN ready. The most wanted speakers, bigger prizes and global possibilities will all be there on NDAA 2018. We are excited and we hope you will be there."

Jasper Evangelista CEO of Globaltronics says "Thank you for staying with us for the night, I'm really confident that we will have that drive to surpass the next projects, the technologies, our partners, this is just the start. Expect more to come, we will never park our laurels and there will be changes so we could be a player in the global scene. We would need your support to get us there. We are also unveiling the new Globaltronics logo to show we are tech savvy, we are leaders. It's still a globe, the three stripes represent our 3 core values. It's on 25 degrees because it's like a giant aircraft, we plan to progress as a bigger and global Globaltronics and we hope to sit down with you so we could provide more solutions for you."

The affair was also witnessed by Globaltronics Chairman and CEO William Guido. So aside from the new look and logo, they also awarded top contributors and most loyal clients for 2017. Now that they've also partnered with JUMP Digital, they'll have PR and Digital requirements now as part of their folios and it would be easier for them to actually provide 360 degree services here and around the region which they regard as the next step.

Among Globaltronics clientele who received accolades that evening include Doublr Dragon Properties, PSE, Honda, Pra, Starcom Mediavest Group, Megaworld Corporation, SM Mart Inc., BMPI, Adidas, PLDT, Havas Media Ortega, Posterscope Philippines, DLSU College of St. Benilde and A. Magsaysay Inc. While JUMP Digital services their clients Alaska, Nutriasia, Tanduay, ACS, Hyundai, Metro Pacific Corporation, Vista Land, Green Cross Alcohol, Asia Brewery, Pascual Laboratories, Healthy Options and a lot more.

The future looks bright for Globaltronics and JUMP Digital. I can't wait for their huge plans to materialize in the coming years, to hopefully make their offerings a one stop shop and perhaps make the ease of doing business in the Philippines and the rest of the ASEAN regions they are present in easy.

Congratulations! To know more about them, please visit their official websites  http://www.globaltronics.net/ and http://jumpdigital.ph/.

Vivo V7 Launched in Manila

Friday, December 01, 2017

Anticipating a phone with great features and a price that's super competitive with the same hardware specs must have made Vivo Philippines celebrate in a grand way. Grand it is, with a stunning and promising line of endorsers too as the event was hosted by Ashley Rivera, Vlogger par excellance and with the appearance of gorgeous siren Julie Anne San Jose who I absolutely adore especially in live performances. They are here to make sure we don't forget ourselves while we look at the new VIVO V7, the new flagship phone with a 24 MP front camera that's quite good for clear looking selfies.

The all screen display would also be good for those who watch movies, online streaming programs and even games because of that wide 5.7 inch screen that's bezel less. This ain't breaking the bank either because just like it's predecessors, VIVO still wants this to be affordable. So they sold this for only Php14,990. If that doesn't convince you to buy I don't know what will. Perhaps Julie Anne San Jose should give you lessons on taking group shots, she's pretty good at it.

Oh and if you haven't decided to get this phone yet, you might want to start checking out more information about this particular handset at their official website www.vivo.com/ph or their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/VivoPhil. You may also follow their Instagram accounts @vivophil and Twitter account @vivo_phil. You won't realize how far you've gone until you get that perfect phone for your lifestyle. The VIVO V7 might be it. Give it a try and tell me how it feels on your hand.

I had it tested that afternoon, felt right at home. Worth considering.

Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay for ALL OF YOU

I miss her a lot, you must miss Derek too. Well, for those who miss them both on screen... this would definitely be a treat! The lovely Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay will star in this Quantum Films and MJM Productions entry for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 called ALL OF YOU which will show on December 25 this year. As you may know, they've already proven their work with the hit movie ENGLISH ONLY PLEASE last 2014 made by the same director Dan Villegas. This time, they're leveling up and remarks that you'll see an even more daring and sizzling pair up between the two stars and a fun quirky ensemble cast to boot.

Direk Dan Villegas says "The main difference is the level of maturity, this is very real and not much aspirational. It's down to earth and very far from EOP. We have a lot of sensual scenes here, we tried to capture that. The poster depicts just that, if you have gotten the last piece and it fits then you've given all of you. You only give that in work, in family and only if you are sure you he/she's the right one. It's difficult to describe why the are good actors because sometimes you just see them on screen, even when I'm editing and they become real. They might have started skeptic in a way but they ended up in a relationship. We shot this in Taiwan, it's magical there. You'll see that in the film."

Jennylyn Mercado adds "Here, she's more matured, more natural in a sense that they delve into real happenings in relationships. I haven't really used a dating app but I see my friends do it and they have fun, I see them experience and enjoy it. I guess in a way it's more sensual. The first day was already a love scene and it kinda shocked us, it was awkward at first but it all got good reviews. We got an R13 rating so I'm sure there will be more people who can watch it. I'm not in the position of Via but I think in my situation, I do it for my family. We should never enter a relationship when we are not sure, because in the end we will not justbe hurting ourselves, but other people too. Derek is quite good in drama, even back then he's really good and I pull emotions from him sometimes. He helps me and it's like team work. Sometimes, direk shows me how it's done and it's like very personal for him. So anybody can relate. Both characters also get perspectives from their characters, we support different facets. Trust, love, you give your all if you are committed. Here you promise something, whether it's in a relationship, work, it might be easy to say that as a word but to do it is going to be difficult. Make sure you are ready, in yourself. If you're good, then you're okay."

Derek Ramsay adds "We want to project something real so here, you'll be loving the sweet moments, the marriage as it feels like a slice of life. I haven't used one but even in the set I see a lot of people do it through an app. We kinda get how they react and do it with our characters. My friends in frisbee do it a lot even if we are out of the country. For me I have been able to give all of myself but it hasn't been reciprocated. For me I won't get into a relationship without that in my mind. If I allow myself to be committed I already give everything in the beginning. Most of the things depicted here are mostly things that have happened in his life, that was cool and a new experience for me. She's a very versatile actress (Jen), proven, jologs and serious at the same time. People do appreciate that. Commitment is very important, you show that when you are in the situation."

The cast includes Solenn Heussaff, Rafael Roselle, Sam Milby, Yayo Aguila, Hannah Ledesma, Nico Antonio, Kean Cipriano, Enzo Marcos, Via Antonio, Kelvin Yu, Kate Alejandrino and Milo Elmodo. Thank you to Philippine Airlines, Tanduay and Tough Mama for sponsoring the prizes earlier at the blogcon.

I guess at my age I can't really give my all, we all do this so we could protect ourselves. If you want to feel kilig and laugh about the little mishaps in relationships, this movie is for you. Everybody is entitled to love, but would you gamble to give ALL OF YOU to get there? How far would you go? Remember to watch their story unfold on December 25, I'm watching!

Love from Oishi's PANCHOS

Gifts come in all forms and sizes these days and by the looks of it, this one is HUGE. This special bag contains PANCHOS, a new corn snack from OISHI that's available in three flavors. One is Nacho Cheese, Barbecue and my personal favorite Taco.

This snack is great on it's own but more fun if you had dips with it. I love it with Mayonnaise and Garlic Aioli, it even works with Guacamole. I remember dancing to La Cucaracha years ago which was sung by legendary Trios Los Panchos, so in a nutshell I know Panchos is a common nickname given to people with Francisco first names. I guess this one is totally Mexican but plays on what Filipinos love about their food. Now that you know about it, go get them at stores, groceries and supermarkets nationwide. Trust me on the Taco, I assure you, you'll love it!

Ole!
