I even got a Revlon lip tint balm for free which costs Php 500, now if you think about it, having your hair colored would usually cost Php 1000- Php 3500 in a salon, but you save a lot and even get freebies if you do it through this event.

They will be here until next week so I suggest you go to SM Mall of Asia and get your hair done by experts as they'll be there until next week. It's cheaper but you get to use top of the line brands that have already impressed people in the mall, I assure you there are still lots of products there that would fit your needs because it's all at Watsons.

Say Hello To TIKTOK Philippines

A few weeks ago, I was seeing weird videos being shared on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter made from an app called TIKTOK on iOS and Google Play. It’s a tiny short video platform which is already popular in other countries and is taking the Philippines by storm. What better way to write about this that to actually experience it myself (YOU CAN ADD MY TIKTOK ID KUMAGCOW) because really, this is a whole lotta fun!

Mind you this breaks the norm as you can now perform with your favorite artists (local and international) because Baninay, Awra, Pamela Swing and lovely Korean/KPOP artists are all here on the platform. That only means you can do the #DuetWithMe challenge wherein you can sing or perform with them in split screen modes and edit the audio, video, its filters right on the app itself without any hitches.

Now if I were you, I’d start early and add myself to the thousands of users in TIKTOK Philippines because I felt that I was already late when I joined, adding KUMAGCOW on your friends list and watching/liking my videos there too would be nice hahaha!

Your Burger Fix at FATBURGER Glorietta 2

A lot has paid attention lately to one of the most endearing food item that the Americans left us during World War 2. Our love for burgers these days are just out of this world. Our palate has just become more adventurous, and we have become courageous in experimenting, getting all the different flavors and favorites in between two buns and the lack thereof. This one I ate at is in Glorietta 2 in Makati, have you heard of FATBURGER?

The place is cozy,it’s got ample amount of seating, some bunk chairs, and a bar that’s got milkshakes and burgers on it’s menu. Of course being a burger olympian I was so excited to try their biggest burger. I was watching my weight a bit so I don’t usually eat the bread, I’m glad they’ve got skinny versions of all these burgers which I’ll show you in a bit. Meet my friends first!

This one is the ORIGINAL 1/4 pound Burger. It’s got the right amount of meat, filling and tasty, plus the usual add ons mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, relish, mustard, ketchup, or if you prefer to not have it, you can customize your burger. As I mentioned earlier, you can even opt other bun varieties or without it at all. If you wish to add premium things like Bacon, Fried Egg, Grilled Onions, Chili, Onion Rings, Mushrooms, they can do that on English Muffins too. If you’re not into beef, they havr Chicken Burger and Veggie Burger patties so you can still have your fix.

Oh and no, they are not holding back on the fresh ingredients, as you can see on this DOUBLE Burger which is around 1/2 pound, it’s as if it’s bursting out already. People were drooling. The buns as we mentioned could be white, a lettuce wrap, a brioche bun, English Muffin, or the Gluten Free one.

My burger of choice is the TRIPLE. I asked them to have it on the SKINNY version so you can do without the buns and have all the juicy meat goodness of every burger patty served to you. It was good while it lasted. The FAT BAR serves cocktails, local and imported beers, wine, whisky, bourbon, cognac and just about anything you can put your hands on after office hours. They are open mall hours so that can be anytime of the day, you’re just gonna have to make the choice with your friends and family.

Oh and if that’s not enough, they’ve got good Buffalo wings since it’s like 2 restaurants in one joint. Ahhh the possibilities are endless, I’ll be back there for more burgers for sure.

If you’re looking for a good burger fix, go and find one at FATBURGER. It’s good and not that expensive either, it’s just right. FATBURGER is just outside the Glorietta 2 entrance along Palm Drive, go rush there if you want one now.

Barbie Forteza and Derrick Monasterio for INDAY Will Always Love You

It was like a fiesta when we arrived at GMA's blogcon for INDAY Will Always Love You which stars good friends Derrick Monasterio and Barbie Forteza. Ricky Davao plays Philip, a lechonero and Cebu magnate. Juancho plays Ernest, the third wheel. He's a Cebuano musician. Ericka Ferraren will also be joining the cast, it's a pretty interesting combination.

Derrick remarks "We have been good friends and in this show we are just going to do what we have to do because Barbie and I know we have to finish the scenes. If it ends up that fans would like the romantic angle, I'd be glad. We take care of each other. It's hard to make people laugh, if you're corny you're really corny. I don't go the mile and tease her because she's the one who bullys me."

Barbie says "It is easy because I get to work with a guy that I've known for a long time, we have no instances of ilangan because we talk about the scenes first before we do a take, even if we are creating new characters we don't have to pretend because he's a gentleman, we talk about where the process and dialogue would take us, that is the secret. It's hard to make people laugh or cry, Derrick and I are close and I hope that translates on screen."

Ricky Davao says "I get inspiration from the young ones, I don't see why Barbie shouldn't be the model actress of her generation. She is very professional, light hearted in the set and she does it well. She is gonna last in this industry, I like her a lot. We shot everything in the real Sinulog Festival, so it's interesting to see how colorful our culture is. We wake up at 5 and work with different people, we learn a lot especially with Gladys because she's like a walking encyclopedia. It's hard to shoot because of the heat, but it looks good on screen."

You'll love this new show called INDAY Will Always Love You which will premier on May 21st, on GMA's primetime slot. I can't wait to see their production numbers, the trailers have shown some of it and it looks promising.
