Saw something new on the menu of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Trinoma. Apparently they have been selling this since the 10th of this month. Are you a Japanese Green Tea lover? The one they call Matcha? Well listen up because this is going to be so good.
These are not usual coffee flavors you see from CBTL as they just got jazzed up with matcha flavors that will only be available for a limited time. You’ll love the Matcha Macchiato, Matcha Affogato and Matcha Raspberry. I had my share of the Matcha Machiatto yesterday and it felt right at home, not overly weird. More so if you are a certified matcha lover.
Now head on to your favorite CBTL branches nationwide (EXCEPT CBTL BISTRO AS I LEARNED TODAY) because it’s available now until December 7, 2018. It’s not to sweet, has that bitterness and foamy consistency you’ve always wanted in a matcha drink but merely spiked into your coffee.

Met the good looking but so warm Bryan Revilla. I know ladies would definitely love this guy, so masculine, and very charming. For those who don’t know, he’s back in the film TRES which is a trilogy of sorts with Jolo doing 72 Hours, Luigi doing Amats and Bryan doing Virgo which is sort of a full length in the same film, like inception no?
He goes about saying that he dedicates this movie to his Dad and his Grandpa, Bryan says “Virgo is not my Zodiac sign but it is the name of the character Virgilio Bautista. I had to finish school and finish my degree, Consular and Diplomatic Affairs. I also am very active in church, with Alpha force so in a way I share my experiences, what God can do. Right now I am single. This story is about a PDEA undercover agent. His father was a previous druggie who got his whole family slaughtered: Joey Marquez plays my adoptive Dad and I have Carla Humphries as my partner. Kiko Matos, Dong Abay and Basti Artadi will be my arch nemesis. I have known Richard Somes for a while now, we never had the chance to work together so when this happened, we spoke about it, I said perfect I know the guy. Now this is what we’ve done in Virgo. I work for my family, I do property management, I also will do more things on production more.”
He adds “My family is my number one critic. My Mom or Dad, I show them things, ever since I was a kid. They push us so we’re good at what we do. There are a lot of challenging scenes here, the action ones are pretty much the hardest because we have around 2000 bullets to shoot, it was deafening. I also lost about 50 pounds so just imagine how much I had to lose from being obese. It takes a lot of discipline. Right now I may be alone but definitely not lonely, let’s leave it at that.”
“When I started this all I was doing it for Dad but now I am enjoying what I am doing now much like before. Either way I want to also work on the production side, so far this is the dream right now. Doing this now is truly an honor.”

Seeing Bryan excited about this and having seen the trailer, I could see how he’s hungry about acting, about being on screen again. It was honestly brusco, it was very masculine and I love how it didn’t look cheap, I guess it’s time to watch worthy action movies now, and this by most standards is good. It’ll be on theaters this coming October 3, and these guys look so good in person, very warm and friendly too.

Had fun watching the movie The Hopeful Romantic by Regal Entertainment. It stars Ritz Azul and Pepe Herrera who did a really good job playing Jess and Veronica, it felt genuine, endearing. Love has definitely a lot to do with this story, when you give your all, when is it okay? When is it called love?
Here’s some reasons why you should watch the movie:
1. It’s time to prove or unprove if the only virgins left in the world are the UGLY ones.
2. Pepe Herrera is such a great crooner. You’ll melt your knees listening to him sing.
3. The two leads have comedic timing. You’ll never see a use for whitening lotion the same way again.
4. See opulence, lifestyle of the rich and famous. Big things by Hashtag Niko.
5. Lies, deception, you’ll learn where it takes you. You’ll see why you should always be yourself and see why it shouldn’t be something to start a relationship:
6. The movie is fun, there are a ton of funny scenes which are not shown in the trailers.
7. As a bonus, you will learn a lot about how to love, how to face your fears and pray for the film. Hahaha. You’ll see why I said that when you watch this on theaters starting September 12 on theaters nationwide!

Congratulations Pepe Herrera and Ritz Azul, you’ve done a good job on this one. It’s well made for a Filipino comedy film, I hope people get to see this because it’s really nice. Kudos also on Beverly Salviejo, get her a bonus!

Topel Lee has done several of Regal Films movies and among them are the iconic Shake Rattle and Roll series which has been a regular in Metro Manila Film Festival, but this time he’s doing a light romcom, which is pretty far from what they do. Though it looks and feels weird, the trailer for this new movie just looks so promising. First off, you cast a young man, a veteran theater and character actor Pepe Herrera, then form a connection with vixen and drama actress Ritz Azul, wouldn’t that be interesting?
During the press conference held last week, a couple of questions were asked that delved around him being not much good looking and her being the gorgeous gal. Though I couldn’t really point out who asked that question, it’s a formula that have been successful in Hollywood movies - and Disney toons too. Like Beauty and the Beast, things around that genre kind of reminds me of this flick. Pepe plays an innocent man named Jess, who you could gladly level with a regular joe, or a wallflower. Ritz on the other hand plays Veronica, a prized catch, a trophy wife material, would they be a likely couple? I feel that’s not even a question of a possibility, because in this day and age... anyone can love somebody, I picked that up in their conversation a few days ago.
Pepe even shared that if there’s something nice he finds in Ritz, it’s her ability to be like a man, like a cowboy, because he was raised by his Mom who he says is a legitimate Alpha Female. Ritz on the other hand says if she would need to identify something lovely with Pepe, it’s his ability to care, and his eyes. She says it tells a lot and I don’t blame her. He really looks like he’s got a lot of stories in between those ears. I wouldn’t be surprised if they would like each other in real life.
Anyway, I’m going to watch the movie in a few minutes, I’ll tell you if it’s good or not. But so far, with the way they are telling things, this is a good story of love.
