Joyce Pring Launches Single "BAKA SAKALI"

Friday, May 03, 2019

If you were at Museo de Padilla today, you would have been floored to see how grand the celebration was for Joyce Pring’s album launch entitled BAKA SAKALI. Almost everyone who became a part of Joyce Pring’s success, her management, GMA’s head honchos, Mariel Padilla and Vidanes executives were all there to see how she’s doing it.

Joyce came out, said hi to everyone and was pitched to perform first. She said “I am so overwhelmed seeing you all guys, Baka Sakali is now out so go search and download it off streaming sites. When you feel you’ve given hope on love, you deserve to try it again. May I request everyone to stop recording videos as I’ll be performing this live.” and so we did.

Honestly, this is my first time listening to her sing. It was both entertaining, sincere, she sounds like she’s been doing this for years. She adds “I was very nervous but I’m sincerely happy to be able to sing my own song. The perks are, when I sing my own song nobody would even know when I make a mistake. We have all been jaded by love, but the people, the work, I didn’t want to take chances anymore but late last year, someone tried. Looks like now, it is working. The song is about new beginnings, to give yourself the chance to hope again. When you hide under rugs, give somebody a chance. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever done in my life. Rico Blanco and I have been friends, I meet him often and hang out and he consistently told me to take it out there, to collaborate with him, I only had lyrics and melody but Rico helped me make it happen. You can now download it on streaming sites. I have written a lot of songs but I have some that are very sad. That to me is very personal so I don’t think I actually have the courage to share that yet. When you’re in love though, that seems to be a little happy so it’s okay if you’re giving people inspiration to give hope, love like a second wind. I don’t think it’s just love because if you have a person beside you who helps you without asking anything in return, then you’ll do good. I want to focus on hosting and singing this year, I have a lot of songs in the lineup but I’m not ready to put out heartbreaks, maybe if some of the clashers would get to sing it, I’d love to work with Christian Bautista and Julie Anne San Jose. I hope to release more songs in the future, a concert, it is in my bucket list, but now we have to do this first. Thank you so much, my birthday is in just a couple of minutes, this is just an amazing evening, God is so good!

Go download it off Spotify and other streaming sites. Tag her on social media so she knows who’s listening. I heard the song this evening, I like what it stands for, and she sounds so inlove!

Congratulations Joyce and happy birthday dear!

Fun Finds at Estancia Summer Toy Fest!

When I found out that a toy fair was happening at Estancia Mall in Capitol Commons, I took the road less traveled and tagged along my blogger friends too. I'm up for nostalgia so when I heard they were having some items from my generations sold, I took the chance and found some good deals this side of town.

There were probably a little over thirty merchants and collectors who joined the Summer Toy Fest, they were laid out on the bridge way of the mall and occupied one space on the left side for a full Tamiya Race Track where competitions were held.

This wasn't a small production because they also had Iron Man and Thanos appear for mall goers. They had 50% of the mall audience taking selfies for posterity. Maybe they'll live to see it on social media. Kids had so much fun!

I had a few things in my mind, Dragon Ball Z memorabilia was abound and the Goku, Klilyn and Vegetta Lego pieces were so awesome to see!

Lest we forget the one who started it all, Master Roshi taught Goku and Kililyn martial arts, but had them work for it when they were kids. Naughty but he did good in the recent inter universe tournament eh?

Ms. Kris Aquino should have attended the event because she'll love the Carebear stuff being sold for cheap in one or two stalls.

They also had something good for Hotweels collectors, huge trucks which are not so commonly sold in malls these days.

When I saw this rack in one of the stalls, I knew I had to have em all! Well I could see some MegaMan, Super Mario, Digdug keychains that only cost 50 pesos each, got them and put it on my bag so it wouldn't look boring. It did the job, you'll see later!

Since it is Avengers season, it's the right time to buy DC toys because they will be relatively cheaper, I was looking for unique Batman toys too but most of it was already in my boxes at home. They have the whole Justice League for 500 though. Good deal for collectors.

Nostalgia was provided by Plastic Man, if you don't know what that cartoon is, ask your older parents or friends, they are going to tell you how popular these were in the 80's.

One of my favorite things to see was Slimer, made of retromutagen ooze, he still eats a lot in Ghostbuster movies.

If you're not fond of heroes, you can get Joker or Penguin. Don't worry if they provide nightmares because Batman will surely save you!

I went home with a pretty good set of keychains on my back, too bad not a lot of folks know who or what these characters represent, because if you were a gamer during my time (I felt old saying that lol) you'll love how cute these things are now while hanging on my boring black leather backpack.

Make sure you check out events in Ortigas and Co. malls like Estancia, Robinson's, or Greenhills because as soon as they put out their toys for sale, you're sure to get some pretty good bargains.

Just look at my haul, you can't find much of that in commercialized events these days! Thanks to Estancia Mall and to the people behind this event, I got my stuff easy!

There's a BRIA for Everyone

Thursday, May 02, 2019

I am not alone when I say I want to live in my own house, with my own family, and be in a community that would help them get the education, fun and experience they need. Affordable housing these days isn't as easy as it seems especially when they get you to shell out huge down payments and monthly amortization cutting an arm and a leg when you need it for other things like food and water, your everyday needs.
One of the biggest affordable housing developers in the country offers prices that go Php 1897.00 a month which makes it possible for blue collar workers, construction people, teachers, OFW's and those starting a family to get their own home in major cities of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
You can visit their sites and choose to live at Urdaneta Pangasinan, Paniqui Tarlac, Magalang and San Fernando Pampanga, Mariveles and Hermosa Bataan, GenTri, Trece Martires and Indang Cavite, Balayan and Lipa Batangas, Plaridel, Malolos, Sta. Maria, San Jose Del Monte and Norzagaray in Bulacan, Teresa, Binangonan and Baras Rizal, Calauan, Calamba and Sta. Cruz, Alaminos and Bay Laguna, Pili and Iriga in Camarines Sur too.

If you are from the Visayas and Mindanao area, don't fret because they also have properties available in Dumaguete City in Negros Oriental, Calbayog in Samar, Ormoc City in Leyte, Cagayan de Oro, Balingasag and Ginoog in Misamis Oriental, Manolo Fortich and Valencia in Bukidnon, Tagum, Panabo and Carmen in Davao del Norte,  Davao City and Digos in Davao del Sur, Kidapawan in North Cotabato and GenSan in South Cotabato. These are guarded and gated communities too so you know your family is safe even if you're out of the country.

Every BRIA home comes with a community Basketball Court, Play and Recreational Areas so you can have fun even if you don't leave the place. Square footage is apt, easy to pay with bank financing or PagIbig Fund so you do have choices.

There is indeed a BRIA for everyone!
