Bo’s Coffee Introduces Botty

Thursday, August 08, 2019

If you see coffee cups or mugs in my kumagcow IG account, you’ll see something obvious that I’ve been spending a lot of time at the BO’s Coffee branch in SM Megamall. It’s where I work because aside from the ambiance, I get disturbed less because of the seating so I could focus mostly on writing. Their latte is just divine on a humongous sozed mug and I spent hours of fun with myself when I’m there. The place gets packed sometimes and couldn’t get seating sometimes when I have some friends too, plus I couldn’t blame them because food is good, the coffee just tastes so different. It’s what made BO’s pretty successful til now.

For the minor issues, they’re addressing it right away by introducing BOTTY. This is BO’s Coffee’s advanced ordering system so you don’t have to line up just by using the application. Now you can save time, go when you need that coffee break so you could get your schedules fixed. You may order ahead in select branches (for now) but they plan to roll it out to 47 stores more in the near future.

Steve Benitez the CEO of BO’s Coffee says “We really want to give our customers the best. They can come to our stores and enjoy the ambiance without lining up. That’s where BOTTY comes in. You can easily pay for it using cards including Visa/Mastercard even Paymaya. You’ve got no excuse you’re late, now is the time to make everything faster.”

So now go to your favorite stores and make the best possible cup of joe from BO’s Coffee chains around the country!

Andrea Walter Shines at 2019 SOHO International Film Festival

Filipino Americans or Asian Americans in general have this bout of longing, innate part of their lives to feel that they belong somewhere. It happens now, in the US, Europe, even in Commonwealth lead states where mixed race individuals just become enthralled in loneliness, sad, but was mirrored in the film Empty by Design which recently received accolades in the 2019 SOHO International Film Festival, and praise at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival which Fil-Brit Director Andrea Walter dubs as a story not told enough.

Cignal Entertainment produced this piece, giving total artistic liberty to the director and mostly Asian crew and production. Jane Basas the CEO of Cignal Entertainment says “We felt joy it got recognition and awards it deserved and I hope this gets to more people, to touch the lives of Pinoys abroad. We want them to see themselves in Andrea’s story. So they could feel home, even as it’s daunting, is where the heart is.”

Andrea adds “We never expected to win, but heard about it when we got off the plane. After closing LA APFF, it was already a win for me. Things went wild after that. I knew we did something right! New York, LA and Austin appreciated it well. Nobody talks about this, but the story had to be told. It has to be understood.”

This film will be shown on Cignal Play via CignalPlay.com which you can download on Google Play. They’ve got a lot of titles, you should check it out!

Sisi Rondina: You Have to Do it with LOVE!

Wednesday, August 07, 2019

Sat down with the volleyball superstar Sisi Rondina. She’s the volleybelle everyone was trying to evade when they fought UST in the UAAP and now the Petron Blaze Spikers. No joke as she even has a 4 time MVP Beach Volleyball award to prove it. She just came from a win (Petron Blaze had an easy win) and and arduous 4 hour traffic last night, but she was not about to have her spirits dampened because she’s going to have a an awesome adventure with FAME (Firestarters Artist Management and Entertainment) which is the artist management hand of Firestarters Production Inc.

Together with their CEO Rj Agustin, Chief Creative Officer (and Director) Real Florido, Admin Head Silvia Malupeng and Jon Verzosa who heads Artist Management, Sisi Rondina signed her first Talent Management contract as witnessed by her confidant Coach Paul Jan Doloiras. For those who don’t know, Coach Paul was the one who discovered her. He had total control over their sports affairs but he knew he wasn’t meant for the manager role especially when it came to projects outside the court and for Sisi being an artist/endorser. He saw how they needed help in doing that, a lot of offers came but what made the difference was FAME had a plan. Sisi also needed no interference when it came to sports and training, and FAME understood this part. They also needed help to go to the path of charity work involved in education and sports management. It was a deal breaker and they saw how much they cared for the artists they handled.

I asked Sisi about how much she has on her plate and she just told us “It’s all about COMMITMENT, and just like in volleyball or anything that I put my self in, I do it with passion. YOU HAVE TO DO IT WITH LOVE!”

Here’s some excerpts of our interview with Sisi and her new management team from FAME. Listen in!

Congratulations Sisi for joining the fun and game management of FAME. I’m sure they’ll take good care of you and your career. For those who may be interested to get in touch with her, you may proceed to firestartersprod.com or their official facebook page Firestarters Production Inc.

It’s the most used term to end every pageant question in the Philippines and if you’re looking for twice the fun, this will over deliver.

Produced by Reality Entertainment and Horseshoe Studios, this film written and directed by Joven Tan will go through the life of an artist who wants to make a difference, who . Ms Aiai says “It is true, I am excited, I feel this movie will be loved because the trailer has so much views. Direk Joven did it glossy because we are artists in this film. Our direk is simple, he just instructs, no pressure. I have pegs but it’s a lot.”

Direk Joven says “I was with her in Kung Fu Divas and Shake Rattle and Roll, this film was just a joy to do. There is no antagonist, she will be a new artist in place but she’s not evil.”

I was inspired with Ms Aiai, because she was in the prime of her career when she got to 40, I was fat but I wanna do my best, my very very best. I just have huge ... and I am 40 and a half, I didn’t celebrate last year because my mother died, condolence to me.”
