Heart Evangelista for Cherry Mobile's Love Marie Collection

Thursday, October 03, 2019

Everybody's sweetheart Heart Evangelista just took time off her busy fashion week schedules to be with us at the Cherry Mobile Love Marie Collection launch at BGC Taguig. You're probably aware how she has done artwork worthy of a nod by fellow artists and tonight, is a merging of aesthetics, technology and everything Love Marie embodies. Taking a huge step to put her very precious art pieces into phones must be a crazy idea but they did it so good, fans of the star would probably want to get their hands on it.

On display at the event was Heart's art collection specifically the Fleur, Princess Panda, Gaea, Belles Fleurs and Rainbow Seas. These are some of her finest work and immortalizing them on handsets would be a dream for women and those who adore the not so crazy, but so rich Asian lol.

Heart had a hand in designing these Bluetooth Speakers, 5K and 10K Power Banks, Smart Watch and phones.

The Flare S8 Prime but more womanly
The powerbanks clearly wouldn't be an eyesore for those flatlays you often do with smartphones
The Bluetooth Speaker has its own fashion statement
The Smartwatch all are water resistant, but the size would be more for men
Some of my blogger friends wanted this so bad.
Front and back all look so nice!

Want to have one? Go rush to your favorite gadget stores and get them Cherry Mobile phones and accessories. You're gonna love her more! I heard this is just the first of many things to come with Heart and Cherry Mobile Philippines!

YEELIGHT 2 in 1 Wireless Charging Nightlight Review

When I got my iPhoneX about a year ago, I was looking for wireless chargers - but ended up getting super frustrated about how long it took for me to get my phone to full power, I ended with a phone without batteries for only half a day (about 4 hours standby). iPhones are notorious power hungry monsters and if you don't have a Powerbank with you through coverages, you're pretty much useless in the afternoon when you get out of your house.

I understood it was still a developing technology and it wasn't perfect back then. But if I'm looking for something that would help me work the whole day, this setup just wouldn't work. A few days ago, this Yeelight Wireless Charging Night Light got us wondering, would it be sufficient to make me happy with its wireless charging feature? We started opening the box of course.

The night light was pretty simple, you charge it with the cable that comes with it, read the manual too. The light actually can be taken off the flat contraption. Switch it on and off to use either warm or white light. This is awesome especially when you want to play games in your phone but don't want to wake anybody up in your room. It takes hours to also run out of charging and you can snap it to metal surfaces because it's magnetic.  On a hallway, or another room, this would be perfect so you don't stumble around when it's too dark outside.

The Wireless Charging is obviously much faster than my old Qi Wireless charger and it takes a few minutes to get my phone juiced up so I can grab and go when I wake up in the morning. One awesome thing though is that it's very safe because when I placed keys on top one drunken morning, it didn't activate the wireless charging capabilities and it detected that on its own. Some other chargers continue to trickle and that would be dangerous if you get electrocuted or if it starts a fire.

Overall, this piece of technology is worth every cent. This is available in Digital Walker and OMG Feel Good Gadgets Stores nationwide! Go get them for your wireless charging phones before stocks run out!

Joyride Signature Bowls at BGC Mercato Centrale

Had the chance to experience this a couple years ago in Luneta when they came out with a Jeepney that turned into a food truck late 2017. Nutriasia had us try awesome food out of the ordinary and this year, it's a different twist as they become a legit food stall in BGC's Mercato Centrale.

From Wednesday to Saturday, they're going to give you real good food as they whip out dishes using Nutriasia products as base. This will be in the form of their Signature Bowls and we got our hands on it last weekend. True to their performance, it was hearty, warm and definitely worth the trip. What made it even better was the fact that they have so much healthy options on the bowls I got two without feeling really guilty. They had sweet potatoes, roasted vegetables, tofu, good pork chops and steaks mixed in. They also have several sauces from the line of condiments they have (Jufran Sriracha, Mang Tomas Siga) to make it a little more spicy.

They are even so affordable and wouldn't cost you more than 200 bucks for one meal. I got my bowl with Garlic Quinoa, Roasted Vegetables and Tofu with a Tonkatsu Pork and Sriracha Mayo Sauce. To cool down, we also tried the Locally Blended Juice Drink Mango and Tamarind which was so good!

You can also have a side salad with it if you prefer a healthier version of your bowl, I enjoyed this a lot because I had friends that time and we didn't really think about repercussions to health anymore since we got really healthy ingredients in our bowls.

This is the brainchild of Nutriasia management and Chef Jonvic Mangibin who's from the MV Group which makes food options for professional athletes in the country. Mercato Centrale opens 6pm to 3am but I must suggest you go there early so you can try the steak, that runs out fast! Imagine the things you can do with Datu Puti, Golden Fiesta Oil, Jufran, Mang Tomas and Bug Crunch products. They all made it come true with the bowl options they presented, I'd take the trip to BGC if it's near you!

Get them bowls fast!

Drop the Prefix Event with South Star Drug

Wednesday, October 02, 2019

It’s a good day to do good deeds today at the South Star Drug event in Mandaluyong City. I have a neighborhood branch and have been buying a lot especially when I was in Cebu. The brand is launching a campaign for you to drop the prefix on the word Disability, and just leave Ability.

Ms. Christine Tuerres the GM of South Star Drug says “We want to create a full cycle, artists talents and livelihood of person with disabilities and we will share the care with the Filipino people. We prepared a video what can be possible, hoping you see the persons with abilities. Our tagline “We care a little more” strengthens our vision of inclusion, we now have 23 employees who are PWD’s and put them in the workplace. We are taught to love and be loved. Everyone should be valued. What they have done in this project have been the provider for their loved ones. This is done with Project Inclusion Network. We truly care a little more.”

Grant Javier of Project Inclusion says “We want to maximize the persons with disability since we started in 2013. We employed one person back then, but now we have 800+ in all industries made possible with our partner organizations who made this all happen. This is for the improvement of their quality of life, we can always do more. Not to only participate, but to thrive. Now they can showcase their talents, and make a living. We hope this change mindsets and industries so they can pursue their dreams. We hope they have access and showcase the talents of people with disabilities, where everyone is valued and appreciated. We need more businesses to partner with us in more ways so we can provide more opportunities. We also need to have more people to come out and show their abilities. We believe that they can, it’s about everyone making ripples of change throughout the country!”

Then they showed us their artworks, honestly, they did good.

They also had their parents, teachers and trainers with them. The South Star Employees who are part of the program also got to be in these photos. Drop the prefix advocacy bags will be available in select South Star Drug Stores nationwide starting October 15. You can now help them too by getting their products. Sewing and printing the bags are also done by an organization of PWD’s (called Goodwill Industries of the Philippines Inc. Tel No. 8373094), all proceeds will go to the workers 100%.

This is just wondeful!
