Jack Daniel's Bar No.7 Opens at BHS Central

Hey people! If you are around the Bonifacio High Street Central area, Jack Daniel's is officially opening their Jack Daniel's No. 7 Bar at the front of Shake Shack and Adidas store in Taguig. We got here during the soft opening, and by gowd the drinks are so good! I like mine simply as Jack Coke but they're preparing cocktails and straight shots all for 120-200 bucks per drink. Best gift for Dad or your boyfriends!

This will be open until the second week of January so if you want to have fun right after work, this would be so cool to just jump in and relax. Oh and I almost forgot, they've got a huge Barrel Christmas tree made from real Jack Daniel oak barrels which they upcycled from their cellars.

They have a cool hangout area in this loft.

Erwan Heussaff and Carousell Encourages REBOXING so #EveryoneWins

It was a really crazy night in EDSA (a few weeks ago) but I had to be in Chingolo, the new private dining restaurant of YouTube sensation Erwan Heussaff. He joined forces with popular selling app Carousell to encourage people to do a lot of REBOXING so #EveryoneWins. Like Erwan, I know a lot of people who hoard stuff in their homes especially bloggers who receive a lot of mail and end up just throwing it out later on. Instead of just unboxing these items for content, Carousell would like to see if you could kindly rebox it and pass it off to someone who actually needs it. That's gonna be a lot of help for people who not only would be able to use it, but who knows, maybe help them fulfill their dreams!

The food was absolutely good, and with the reboxed items in Erwan Heussaff's account, he also threw in a cooking session to the delight of one unsuspecting Carousell user. She is Nicole Jastive, a culinary arts student from La Salle. She wishes to become a Michelin Star Chef, and since she wished for it, Erwan got a lot of his restaurant essentials, a seasoned iron skillet, and this opportunity to cook with him that evening.

This was like Gordon Ramsay's Beef Wellington sans the steak but had roasted vegetables in it. It was good!

As you may know, Erwan gets his meat from Argentina and his friend Nico Bolzico. It was more lean rather than its fatty cousins from the US. The steak deserves it's own country code, it was that good.

The desserts were awesome too.

I've had good cookies in my cupboard for years courtesy of people in my family who bake mean stuff in the afternoon, right for a snack. As a boy scout myself, I remember making some over a fire a few decades ago LOL, no joke, and it was good and edible. We've all gotten to see girlscout cookies being sold in movies from the US. We didn't really have that here, but I'm so glad Scout's Honor is near my place. 

It's a full cookie and coffee chain with branches in Ayala Malls Vertis North (so I got mine still warm and fresh from the oven), they also have one in Century City Mall, Uptown Mall in BGC and Santolan Town Plaza. They could welcome you to craft your own cookie, but I had some good ones in a box a few weeks ago.

If you want it small and in batches, get a load of the 1 Bite 2 Bite Cub scout cookies. They do it good.

They have other things on the menu but the cookies are good reason to go back and take home. This is for the sweet tooth but they also have some that are quite healthy like the Oatmeal, Cranberry and Molasses. They also have other things on the menu including a Cookie Burger which is only availble during this holiday season. They also have some for your 4 legged friend, the Doggie Biscuits!
