Love Rules with Closeup!

Friday, February 07, 2020

Oh my it’s the dreaded Valentines day! Haha nah, just joking! Whatever challenges you may be going through, February 14 is a day dedicated to letting love rule. How do you show love at this day and age? For me, it’s about reminding your special someone of the small things that make your relationship a place where love and happiness rule in your lives.

Closeup, our fave toothpaste brand is advocating #FreeToLove. No matter where you are or who you are with, we should really have that in mind. Closeup is giving three lucky pairs a chance to win a special Valentine’s date treat. What’s in it for you?! Well, you and your date can get an intimate romantic evening made just for you. They’ll take you to a private fine dining dinner, a garden picnic, or inside a vintage plane parked in a garden. What do you have to do to make it happen? Just post a couple selfie on Instagram or Facebook and tag @closeupph, put the location where love rules for you and share your story of how you let love rule in your relationship. Make sure to use the hashtags #LoveRules and #FreetoLove. Send your entries in from February 5 to 9, 2020, and who knows, you might just win it for you and your love!

They are also partnering with Google Maps which you can see at freetolove.com.ph/loverules. All your entries will be collated and plugged into a map that shows where people all around the country. Closeup hopes to start a movement of creating more places where people can truly make love rule, isn’t that neat?

Don’t let anyone stop you from celebrating this Valentine’s Day, because yes, #LoveRules.

Jollibee’s Iconic “Isa pa, Isa pang Chickenjoy!”

Tuesday, February 04, 2020

I still remember watching this commercial in the 90’s where Aga Mulach and Serena Dalrymple. She was asking for more, of the juciest, crispiest, chicken in the Philippines that is now also known in other countries.

The latest ad also gives a bit of nostalgia, something that we all remember. Too cute to not notice especially if it resonates with kids until now.

I bet you’re all so excited to have Chickenjoy right now, go ahead and get them in store, drive thru or delivery because it’s something that would make you happy.

Marian Rivera for TADHANA 2020

Monday, February 03, 2020

Bigger, broader catered to an even wider audience, that’s what they want to do this 2020. Marian Rivera talked to us this afternoon and yes, she got us personal stories about her show TADHANA.

Marian says “I learned to not be judgmental because you think these things do not happen in real life, but they do. I always talk with them all throughout the creative process. I get to really know their lives, tell them especially to the OFW’s who are our prime audience. I get to spend time with the crew and they understand my priorities which is my family. My business is also doing good because I import vases now from different parts of the country like the marble ones from Romblon, and now I have some native containers from Mindanao so I could help the communities there. Don't worry about my earnings because most of these proceeds will go to their small villages or foundations I help. We now will also feature other stories from the Philippines so it’s going to be bigger, this is for everybody.”

Here’s the queen of primetime on video:

This airs every Saturday 3:15PM so take that afternoon break for Marian Rivera!
