Security Labels on Food Deliveries

Friday, May 29, 2020

During this ECQ, I've been ordering a lot of food from local businesses. Not just to help them but because I dread washing dishes, and yes, they're pretty good cooks. The packaging though has a lot to like about because it's either flimsy, or just plain fluff. The preparation, the deliveries themselves might be prone to tampering. A few of them have tapes on them, it gets a little rowdy on the motorcycle ride and chances are, you don't know how it gets to your home untouched.

I see some of them employ nice stickers like the SecureLabels from Dragonfly Printing Services. Now it doesn't cost much at all, about a peso on some of them which is measly for the peace of mind of the consumer. Apart from that, your home businesses would look very professional which is very important for branding  For those who would like to get some, you can get in touch with them at dragonflyprintshop@gmail.com

How Businesses Can Adapt With Payments

It's scary out there and yes, businesses have been taking the brunt out of the ECQ measures we are taking. Nothing bad about that but we need to know how we could lessen touching each other and make e-commerce faster and proficient, so why not adapt to mobile payment which makes money transfers, bank transactions easy.

Our friends from PayMaya just launched their new app called PayMaya Negosyo. After registering and a few verification steps, you can immediately accept cashless payments via PayMaya QR. At any point of the day, you can also transfer money to your account and audit would be a cinch. Now you can use the same features as your personal PayMaya account but properly made for your business, no need for mumbo jumbo anymore!

You can download the app via the Google Play Store, just search PayMaya Negosyo and it's there. This is perfect for GCQ conditions, stay safe peeps!

How To Get 100 Pesos Off Your PLDT Bill

Friday, May 22, 2020

I don't know about you guys but I'm feeling a little down because of the big bills coming and I'm part of the statistic of now work, no pay. Well, I got a tip from a notification of my PayMaya app the other day saying I could save 100 pesos off of my PLDT bill and tried if it works.

I paid the usual bill which costs a little over 1k, which is the amount they say you should pay on the app so you can get the Php 100 Balik Bayad according to the promo.

After paying, I got a text message confirming my payment then another one saying I received a voucher for the 100 peso to be returned to me.

I just went to the app (it must be updated to see the VOUCHER option) then claimed it. After a few seconds I already got the notification that I got it back. After seeing that offer, there were two more on the app indicating Php50 OFF if I pay for my Smart Postpaid and Sun bill. How can you not see the tons of savings just by paying through PayMaya?! Heck I got my money back hassle free, you've gotta try doing that now especially when times are hard.

Don't say I didn't tell you!

A Call for "Isang Laban"

Tuesday, May 19, 2020

The "Isang Batangan, Isang Laban" online campaign is a collective effort of like minded professionals who are from the province of Batangas. They are UP Batangan Alumni members from different backgrounds and industries (Media, Production, Film, Advertising, Engineering, Marketing and Healthcare). Bound by their socio-civic spiritedness since college days, these individuals made an initiative to drive Bayanihan and solidarity in this time of COVID19 (pamdemic) with the aim to create a meaningful crusade to give honor to their alma mater and community, and aide in the fight against this dreaded virus. They want to specifically help healthcare workers in Batangas and no distance can stop them from doing this even in the time of crisis.

Everything is digital and with this, they were able to produce an original video with the help of medical doctors from the province and narrate actual experience in the frontlines, so they too could ask for help to equip hospitals/medical facilities to battle this unseen enemy.

They also got Ryan Agoncillo (a native from Rosario, Batangas) and Kimpoy Feliciano (a known online personality) to join this call and showcase this original piece which unveils the spirit of Bayanihan. It also talks of compassion and unity. True to the spirit of Batanguenos, to be brave in every fight, they call for One Batangas (Isang Batangan), One Fight (Isang Laban).
