No More Guess Work with InLife’s Solid Future

Friday, October 09, 2020

Wether you're an Aries, Sagittarius, Taurus, Cancer, Capricorn, Gemini, Libra, Leos, Virgo, Scorpio, Aquarius, or Pisces, we're all in a nut and I don't think you could still say you're a lucky sign. 2020 has just been a tragedy for all of us and honestly, I wouldn't count on the stars if we're talking about money or preparing yourself financially. We're no quack doctors and I suggest, just make them guides instead of fully tell your future. I wonder what happened to that guy who said we're gonna be lucky this year LOL!

Anyway, I'm sure a few are doing better in times of crisis. People who are well prepared, probably had a lighter blow than most of us and evidently, they've gotten life insurance to keep themselves afloat in this pandemic. Filipinos usually prioritize putting food on the table and a roof over their head. Insurance just isn't a necessity and seen as a burden. That shouldn't be the case, and a lot of people learned too late.

Fret not, as InLife’s Solid Future will solve this problem. It's an affordable peso-denominated life insurance plan with an investment component together with it.

InLife Sr. Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Gae L. Martinez says "Solid Future can cost as low as Php 67 a day or about Php 24,000 a year. If you start early, you would get to build funds for a protected future."

The plans low initial payments give funds potential to grow faster compared to other life insurance products. This is ideal for Filipinos who want to save for long-term goals. This would be good for those who wish to have a business venture, purchase land, educational funds for kids or even their retirement.

What's good is that because of InLife’s Automated Underwriting System, they give insurance application decisions in more or less, about 30 minutes. Their regular payments can also be done via auto debit arrangement with banks so it's hassle free.  Does that sound like a  Solid Future? IKR!

InLife also partnered with ECPay who's got about 8,000 payment centers nationwide so it would be convenient for you to pay. This includes shops, convenience stores, pawning places, remittance and bayad centers. They also are found in rural banks for those in the rural areas, this would be convenient for those who want to keep safe at home or not travel too far.

Re-opening The Economy with “Ingat Angat” Campaign

Thursday, October 08, 2020

You can join jumpstart the economy and it starts with this mega campaign by both public and private sector, they call this INGAT ANGAT. Honestly, I can't get over seeing different competing brands in one campaign and how they set aside pride and business to help the Philippines back on its feet.

This is a critical time for the government and private companies to get together amidst the pandemic. This is their initiative. Business has been greatly impacted, people are slowly opening up again, Filipinos are resilient and hopefully business is slowly gonna go back to normal.

Sec. Ramon Lopez DTI says “This is done in Bayanihan spirit. This has damaged our country, we feel it is difficult to bring back consumer confidence but it is important to have safety and economic movement at this time. This will help shift focus in balancing health and economy, a balancing act, manage the risk and help the revival of the economy. We continue to buy local, to rally everyone to go back to the new normal, still have health protocols, and DTI will be there to help and support this cause. Buy local!”

IATF Against Covid-19 Head Carlito Galvez Jr. says “This is our third phase, the government is keen on opening up our businesses. We need an equilibrium of both health and economy, to make it safe for everyone to conduct business and sustain our economic recovery. We need to work as a team, to lower our active COVID cases, to ensure we fully recover 100%. To increase capacity on public vehicles, doing it to ensure safe transport of our workers and earn sustainable incomes. The cases are declining in NCR but we should never let our guard down, we need to work together even further. Ingat tayong lahat!”

Sec. Harry Roque says “The Filipino Spirit of Bayanihan is there. We have medical equipment, testing, donations poured by private sector. Ingat Angat is important to inform people we must not leave in fear, and the President is appearing in advertisements and support the cause. This Monday we will have a cabinet meeting, to talk about how to save people from poverty. To allow the economy to recover, with safety in place. We need to open and improve the transport sector. Thank you to the private sector’s help! Mabuhay po tayong lahat!

Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala “Good morning! We have very tireless organizers. In the worst crisis, we saw everyone work together. The virus is the enemy, we need to work on health and the economy. Thank you to the Secretary for bringing the private and public sector together. The private sector has found our citizens who have confidence, moving together to create it with others. Together we shall revitalize our country together, to help us all move forward, to restart the economy. It is a pleasure to work with you all. The strong partnership between the public and private sector is important and we support you all, thank you!”

George Royeca of Angkas “Buhay or Hanapbuhay, this pandemic has cost a lot for our economy. Businesses have closed down, thus Taskforce T3 to test, trace and treat to become a stronger and resilient Philippines. The goal is simple, to equip government to reduce the risks, building facilities and increase capacity. We all should be cautious, recognize how to live with the virus, rebuild but keep safe. Teach Filipinos to co exist with the virus and get our lives back on track. Thank you for your undying help. This time, we need to Teach, trust and Transform.”

Margot Torres the SVP For Marketing of McDonalds says “Thank you to our partners from government, thank you for making time for this. I am excited Taskforce T3’s campaign and the help of different brands, even competing ones by volunteering their time and expertise to make sure our message comes across. We all want a resilient Philippines and the need for consumer confidence is essential. Recently, the government launched their campaign, by tomorrow we are launching this one. This is to address the need for consumer confidence, to make learned helplessness to empowered vigilance. Brands will serve as backdrop to real message, should not be a multi brand preso, or a hardsell branded effort. They should be inspired of the Filipino resilience and cautious optimism to move forward with our lives. We have produced 3 industries, restaurants, mobility, shopping and leisure. All brands will share these online videos and materials, in all their assets. This will be in multiple screens on October 9.”

Melvin Mangada “The campaign is going far from being fearful and anxious, to remind everyone we will get through this too. We will be vigilant and safe. To jumpstart the economy with consumer confidence. The ad test results show strong emotional connection, Ingat Angat will be launching this video. The campaign is not just about the most loved brands. We needed to thank them for allowing us. Eat out and keep safe. Go out and do what they need to do, but keep safe. Encourage people do things they like to do outside, safely too. We already have ready social cards where competing brands are in one post, we also have radio ads, partnered with Viber to have downloadables so companies can put these on banners, billboards, mall presence, celebrity videos, use #ingatangat on all posts. Thank you to all our partners who made this all possible.”

The entire world is facing this challenge, what sets the Filipinos apart is our resilience, when we all come together. These efforts to battle the pandemic is a call to restart the economy but not undermine health protocols to keep us all safe. Visit ingat-angat.com, FB and YT who will host the videos, viber for information dissemination and engagement platform for the campaign too. This is a campaign that will continue until needed.

ACER Leads in PH

The title alone is a mouthful and yes, a market research firm just confirmed that ACER is the number 1 consumer and gaming laptop brand in the country. This still happened even if we are under GCQ and experiencing the pandemic.

Acer was able to hold the top spot as there was a huge demand for notebook laptops in the Philippine market. This happened as students and employees went into a digital shift this third quarter of 2020. Acer held a 32%-unit share brand performance in August alone and recorded the highest sales units in more than a year. Acer led value shares at 31% of the market and reached the highest brand value seen in a 13 month duration. This was based on the firms research. Acer officially holds the number 1 position in the notebook laptops market in 14 consecutive years.

Acer also strengthened its hold of the Gaming notebooks market. They got a whopping 42%-unit share in August. Predator Helios 300 holds the bestselling Gaming notebook for Acer.
Aside from that, Acer dominated the Education market by introducing the Acer Academy program designed to provide an educational environment promoting interaction. It has a dedicated team that works closely with schools and academic institutions to develop IT solutions which can accelerate the learning process and possibly set new educational standards. The is open to all private and public schools, colleges and universities in the Philippines.

Acer also included product discounts thru the Acer Academy Faculty Student Purchase Program and Learn from Home Campaign. This is a product bundle which they instituted with Smart for a Department of Education (DepEd) compliant online learning setup. They also have an Acer and Intel Scholar program wherein they offer free laptops for scholars. They have continued operations to serve essential and frontline workers. It was important for industries such as healthcare, banks, telecommunications and BPOs who needed to still operate and employ work from home arrangements during the lockdown period. This also has increased demand for laptops putting Acer products at Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise market.

They also enhanced their existing e-commerce channels to sell laptops, desktops, projectors, monitors, and accessories in their website.

Meanwhile, Predator recently concluded Predacast which is a series of online workshops conducted by their brand ambassadors Alodia & Ashley Gosiengfiao, CongTV & Team Payaman, Akosi Dogie, TNC Predator Dota 2 Pro Team, ArkAngel Predator PUBG Pro Team, Nexplay Predator, VladFX, Kuya Nic & Lupon WxC, Kang Dupet, Een Mercado, Kuku Palad, Marlon Marcelo including the hottest Ivana Alawi... And more celebrities and influencers. They also offered Home Credit for their units with 18 months installment at 0% interest plus free foldable work desks bundled with select Acer laptops so they can work right at the comforts of their home. They also made their after-sales servive low-touch and employef warranty extension for products. This includes 24/7 phone/chat support, and door-to-door pick-up and delivery service so people didn't have to go out just to get an Acer laptop.

Sanofi Launches WeHealth Program

Wednesday, October 07, 2020

The country has been under GCQ for quite some time now. Under the pandemic, we all were met with a lot of stress, uncertainty, even fear. At home, we confined ourselves just like the rest of you guys so as not to endanger ourselves, or any member of our family. We scour to find work, to earn a living at a time where businesses suffer because they are either forcibly closed, or just didn’t survive economic struggles. Add to that, our own struggles to contain our seniors at home and our own health conditions.

I was born to a family with a lineage known to have diabetes and hypertension. Mom started chewing on sugar cane when she was 5 in the fields that spread across towns and cities in Negros. Dad on the other hand was always the hot headed one, flares up like clockwork. To think that I wouldn’t have these same traits, might be a little too slim or close to none. Yes, I am a diabetic, so is my Mom and siblings. My Dad went ahead for the same reason a little over two years ago. Lifestyle change? Oh we try. Tried it for years in fact, but of course our bodies are different, metabolism too. We all are fine, but like normal people, we worry.

This pandemic has actually brought upon complications in our usual visits to the doctor. For people who have diabetes and hypertension, regular checkups are a must because laboratory procedures should be done to check signs of recovery or worsening of it. Honestly, I fear going to the hospitals as they’re probably full of COVID-19 patients who need urgent care. Nobody also wants to get sick of course, so that actually worries me a lot because of the fact that we can’t seek consultations and physically be there in the clinics. That includes every member of my family, some seniors too in the mix. So doing that is just, not an option. We cannot neglect our blood sugar levels or pressure and adhere to doctors specified treatment. Online perhaps? That sounds good.

Recently, there is a program that Sanofi launched to help. They call it WeHealth, an e-health ecosystem which can help you and your family achieve healthy lives. This is part of their goal to make a healthier Philippines. Their aim is to also connect doctors, patients and healthcare providers. This takes you to a place where you can get medical consultations online and have your medicines delivered to your doorstep. Sanofi have seen how Filipinos lacked access to healthcare even before the pandemic began. WeHealth can empower you to control your own health journey. Taking online consultations eliminates the risk of getting exposed. Aside from that, you won’t have to go to the hospitals anymore (which might be difficult to go to distance wise) and pay for parking and gas. That would make it safe for you, your family and even your doctors. Sanofi partnered with SeriousMD, AIDE, KonsultaMD, HealthNow and Medifi as telehealth providers. Aside from that, they also got Watson’s and SouthStar Drug as pharmacy chain partners.

This makes it a very holistic e-Health program especially if you have family and friends who suffer from diabetes and other chronic illnesses. This would be a great start to bringing healthcare for all. You may visit Sanofi here for more information about it.
