Ohmyhome, Singapore’s market leader in property solution platforms has been in the Philippines since September. They saw demand for residential properties was still high even if we were under strict lockdown in Manila. Now I hope that's not because everyone lost their homes because the economy and businesses stopped, but really because there was growth in interest in residential proporties.
Filipinos look now for good location, design, modern facilities and a good place to stay in. These days, we need a place to work even at home. Co-founder & COO of OhMyHome Race Wong says "Even if property seekers are still looking at houses located near commercial areas, they also consider those outside Metro Manila because of new work arrangements. It's quite flexible now in PH homes too."
Currently, they see value in working with developers so they could better serve their customers. Their platform remains to be straightforward, which only takes a few minutes to do and very easy to understand. OhMyHome quality assurance teams make sure only active homes remain listed and sellers get to put in properties easily. In case there are issues, they also have several in-house agents to help you get the deals for your dream home.
While we still are under the quarantine regulations issued by the government, the platform remains to be a very good source of information to make it all happen. It would benefit real estate brokers, developers and those who would like a place they could call home. Download it off Google Play or iOS.
Rumors about this new show surfaced a couple months ago, and when they released the trailers, I was like, finally, there's a new Erich Gonzales led series. It's called LA VIDA LENA, an iWantTFC Original Series and will start to stream this November!
Erich says "When this was offered to me, it was initially titled Magdalena, I got hooked by the story because it is very challenging. Direk Jerry and Direk Jojo made it easier for me. This is not the first time I have worked with JC, but first time in a teleserye, also with Kit and Carlo. They are very professional and we help each other when we work. Well to be honest, aside from the swab tests we did before and after a location, we do facemasks, shield, locked in, they are very strict in working hours so we have enough rest for everyone. It is new, but we are well adjusted. We work from 8am to 8PM, and we do work as it is, regardless of locked in or not we can work professionally. I said yes immmediately to this because I know there would be a lot of people that would have work, when they approached me, I could feel how thankful they are, and that is priceless. I just had to recharge and do something else before I went into doing this new show."
Direk Jojo Saguin says "The most challenging part is just getting locked in, and you have to do everything in time and you are only given 12 hours to shoot. What's the difference? This is different story wise. It is centered on love and revenge, and it is challenging to Erich as an actress, and they have been able to deliver."
Direk Jerry Sineneng adds "This is a different setup, but it is good to work with seasoned actors and blend together their strengths making sure they don't overlap with their roles. I do get nervous at times, they deliver, so you have to choose wisely how to mix that all because they are good actors. "
Ms. Agot adds "I favor doing this kind of taping, we know the schedules, we have to finish everything in 12 hours and you can't be lounging around if you're on set. The cast and crew, we didn't force the closeness, we were just isolated and we felt now we can share each other's meals because we had to be together if we wanted it or not. It was such a fun group!"
Carlo Aquino says, "I am more patient now, I don't rush things. In the past I was always like that, having a baby taught me these things. I feel it made me more patient. Yes, when I saw my baby, I immediately knew that I am going to work for my family. I spend time with them, especially since she just turned 2 months, I always talk to her and I do cherish it now that she is still a baby, I'm afraid she will change her appearance when I get back from work and isolation."
JC de Vera says "I try to dedicate my 100% during this pandemic, I memorize things that I wasn't able to do when I was a kid, I play with my baby, even ask her to do household chores and that bonding doesn't stop. I always am there for my kid even on locked in taping, it made us closer because we understand the importance of being far away from family. I don't give that attention to others, just them at times."
Again, LA VIDA LENA, an iWantTFC Original Series will be streaming this November! Download the app and subscribe to see lovely Erich all over again!
We were welcomed by the cast and actors of #InfluencersTheSeries this afternoon which includes Los Angeles California based Kevin Martinez, Benjo Jose, Kevin Alejandro, Em Meneses, Maz Esquivel, Romeo Malijan, Leon Eustaquio, Chollo Sotiangco, their Scriptwriter and Directors Stephanie Quiros and Renz-Bhil Tugelida.
Lead star Leon Eustaquio says "I can assure you, there will be social issues discussed in the series, but not to spoil things we can't talk about that yet. We were messaged by our manager, I was hesitant really, but I was challenged because I love acting, it was just hard to move around because we were limited because of the pandemic. When it comes to forcing influencers to talk on certain issues, they should beg off if they don't know much about it. If they don't want to, let's understand and respect them if they don't want to talk about it."
Director Renz says "What sets this apart from other BL series is that we are going to talk about something that is not talked about. We are doing socio political matters that needs to be heard now. It's not just hearing the different side, but to see how influencers react to these issues. When we started it, we needed to talk about mental health, HIV, cancel culture, bottom shaming, name it all, but in the context of BL. It exciting, actually hard to put together. You need to watch the first episode because it needs to be seen so you can understand it all. We want to speak our truth, we want to talk about the digital spectrum, on how to me a responsible netizen. We open apps, we follow influencers because of what they talk about. We need the truth and reality of our LGBT community, BL is evolving, it has changed and it is good that it can put statements, to say something, we are one with them to give voice. Actually, when you watch the first episode, you will put in your mind that the characters will liken people in real life. It just a coincidence. When we started the production, we were very adamant about pushing our causes. We did our GL series in the past, and we use projects to do that and have representation. We are going to produce these kind of projects so people know what we go through, to tell our truth and predicaments. Back when we did Chasing Sunsets we have had bisexuals, gays, and casting this, we were very critical because they need to understand the role. Given that we are almost finished shooting, I am glad at how they are doing their roles. They are aware of it."
Chollo Sotiangco says "I got this role with the thinking that I'm going to be doing something new. To represent a community, to put myself in their shoes, I wanted to learn about their cause. I enrolled this sem but when I was asked to do acting jobs in a BL series, I took it. When I got this, I knew it was going to be hard to shoot, to go somewhere especially since we are in a pandemic. Fortunately, we followed safety protocols before the shoot and working with them, it was a great experience! I believe people are different, they have different opinions, they have their ways and they have the option to speak about it or not, they have their choice, it's not just because they are influencers they have to talk about certain issues. It's a dangerous thing to put wrong information out there, we all have to be careful, and stick on things that they are knowledgable about and be educated too."
Em Meneses says "On influencers having scandals, first of all, everyone makes mistakes. It's really hard on us all, I am all for expressing their sexuality, but sharing photos and videos without their consent is a crime, they need to be protected especially now when it goes on the internet. It is scary, so data privacy and protection should be done. It's a different story how it goes in media, I hope compassion still is tops. I am sure we were all nervous, I came from a more theater background, totally different from this and we all had to do workshops because we had different approach. It was interesting when we met on set together, I am so happy they figured out our dynamic because we had different backgrounds. We do hear each other out, especially our angles, our motivations and character analysis. We share each others experiences which brings to life more of our characters."
Maz Ezquivel added "I came from TV so it is more on the face, very minmal movement, and we would debate about it all the time... but the good thing about it is that we get to learn from each other, we also share it with the cast and we help each other out."
This project is produced by Camp Avenue Studios and is directed by Renz-Bhil Tugelida. This is written by Stephanie-Rose Quiros and will be shown on Ticketnet platforms. Contact them and follow their social media accounts to know more about their story. I think it is apt to talk about pressing social issues especially if it's about timely ones like LGBTQIA, the SOIGIE Equality Bill, and others. Their cause is quite good, it needs to be heard, it needs to be seen. Their trailer is also going to be launched at 8PM today, I got you so here!
All the milestones they've had this year and realme still isn't stopping there. After copping the second spot in the most sold smartphone in the country, here they are launching another one called realme narzo 20.
This new phone boasts a 6000mAh Mega Battery which can last you hours (imagine the games you could play) and upto 45 Days Standby time. It has a 16.5cm (6.5”) Fullscreen and 88.7% Screen-to-body Ratio, which gives you a more immersive gaming experience. This also packs a Helio G85 processor, no game can get unflipped. It also performed above 200K in the AnTutu Benchmark, that's how powerful it is. This also uses an 18W Type-C Quick Charger which can get you more juice in less time. This also doesn't fail in photos as it has a 48MP AI Triple Camera, you can deliver stunning shots. Group shots or products would look awesome as its got an Ultra Wide and Macro lens, the videos are also good (I use realme for my YouTube videos), I see real quality and that is what they delivered here with the realme narzo 20.
Aside from that launch, they also made the impossible possible as they
invited two severely entertaining guys Team Payaman and Team Chooks and
Doggie to play several rounds of Mobile Legends. I guess the 150K+
attendance was proof of how excited people are even during pandemic,
they got to see also who reigned supreme! This is part of the three day
launch of realme narzo 20, but don't leave yet, because come Monday,
they're launching something really special.
