There's a Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort in Pampanga

Thursday, December 31, 2020

Honestly, I didn't know. I haven't been in Clark Pampanga in a while and if I do, it's almost just because of the airport. Though this is actually good news that they're opening up huge establishments especially from Hilton Hotels and Resorts group.

The Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort has 308 rooms equipped with digi keys, with Hilton’s signature Serenity bed, premium bath rooms, a fitness center with the latest equipment, an awesome outdoor pool, a Kid’s Club, an outdoor playground, walking+jogging paths, and soon a wellness center.

They also have several dining choices, Olive which is an open kitchen - all day dining place with views of the pool and the garden. They also have XI which is a modern Chinese place that serves Cantonese regional dishes. They got Treat which serves kitschy coffee, snacks, cocktails and wine.

They also are implementing the Hilton CleanStay program which they do across their other properties so you're assured of a well sanitized place to stay. Oh and have I mentioned their 1,800 square meter meetings space? Here, you can do meetings, weddings and other social gatherings (with precautions done of course). If that's not enough, they can send you to their 1,010 square meter Grand Ballroom which can fit 1,200 guests. It also includes the usual audio and video amenities, so your events would be fitting this place quite well.

This just looks like a phenomenal place in the north, I'd want to visit this place soon. Go visit them at clarksunvalleyresort.hilton.com for reservations, or simply call them at +63 45 598 5400. Tell them I sent you, I kid!

Tuesday, December 29, 2020

We were there last year covering at the sidelines of the red carpet. I thought this year was just going to pass but it looks like the 25th installment of the Asian Television Awards is pushing through and will be hosted by Wallace Ang together with actor Benjamin Josiah Tan from Singapore, anchor Ji Xiao Jun from China, beauty queen Rennie Lau from Malaysia and ATA 2020’s winning “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” Anyarin Terathananpat of Thailand. For those who don't know, the ATA's has been recognizing actors, directors, producers, artists and presenters since 1996. They also have awarded several Asian programs and TV networks in the region. This year, it's going to be a lot different as the format will all be done digital. The ATA Technical and Creative Awards will be held on January 15th and will be streamed on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Weibo at 8:00 PM wherein 30 awards will be presented plus a new category  for Best Direction of Non-Fiction entries. There will be performances by actor, singer and dancer Alfred Sng, singer Sherraine Law, pop artist HAVEN and singer Emiliano Cyrus who hails from Singapore. Ernie Zakri and Lee Pei Ling from Malaysia will also be singing, plus a number by Dat Ozy from Vietnam and our very own Sam Concepcion from the Philippines.

Again, the 25th Asian Television Awards will be shown in 500 million homes across a network of regional broadcast partner networks on January 16, 2021 at 8:00 PM. This includes Formosa TV of Taiwan, Viu TV of Hong Kong, Jiangsu Broadcast from China, Cignal Colours and TV5 from the Philippines, Bangkok TV of Thailand, Today TV from Vietnam, Channel O, Citra Entertainment and the Indonesia Channel for Indonesia and last but not the least Bayon TV of Cambodia. Beach Front Homes Waiting To Be Owned at FREIA

It's lovely, it's dreamy, things you just can't imagine actually exists. Fancy it? It's called FREIA, named probably after the norse goddess of love, fertility and battle. Now I know you've all been confined in your homes in Metro Manila or somewhere else in the world, but if you're already going crazy and in the mood to be relocated in a peaceful and luxurious place, then this newest mid-rise residential condominium in Pico de Loro Cove at Nasugbu, Batangas might be the perfect fit for you.

For those who don't know, the whole of Pico de Loro Cove is being developed by internationally renowned SM Prime via Costa Del Hamilo Incorporated. This property is very secure, quite secluded, but this 40-hectare estate has got panoramic views of the West Philippine Sea. It's a short drive to Nasugbu town proper and about an hour and a half to Manila. They also got lots of open spaces, shaded nooks, covered walkways, quite substantial sized condos from 67-154 square meters. There are also three-bedroom loft penthouses from 221-392 square meters, some look even bigger than a house, it would be perfect for weekend getaways (your very own spot) or perhaps your actual home rather than living in the smoke filled air of the city. The sea view units are where you can see the action on the beach while the mountain view units gets you much solitude and quiet, there's one for your preference. These units are not available for rentals, as security is tight in these properties. Condo prices also come with bundled Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club individual membership.

Now that doesn't mean they're bound to miss the city's amenities because if you're hungry, it's very easy to order via three restaurants in Pico De Loro's cove. It can be served in your homes, no fuzz. If you have medical emergencies, there's a 24/7 ambulance which can take you to the nearest hospital too. This community is also near churches and just about anything you would want to raise a family in. All these, surrounded by trees, crisp smelling wind which you can have all year round. Kinda nice huh?
