Filipino Rapper EZ MIL Breaks Internet with hit song PANALO

Thursday, February 04, 2021

Got the chance to be in the press conference of EZ MIL, a phenomenal Filipino rapper who broke the internet with his strong rap skills and very nationalistic lyrics to the delight of Filipinos around the world. The good looking guy is only 22 years old, very talented, and is currently based in Las Vegas.

Ezequiel Miller now known as EZ MIL says "I would like to thank God, for the opportunity to do this and FFPP management. My Dad is Ilokano. Today, let's get it started. 19 Million views in 6 days is just crazy. You know, I'm very happy that the work I put in bore fruit, I am thankful for those who tuned in and I'm excited to go forward. I would just like to continue putting out content and more music projects. It won't be all the time that I'll explore, but I will find the way to get patriotism involved in my songs.I want to explore a lot of things, this is my way, my personality, music and rap is my way of going up. It differentiated because each way I tackled, it had my passion. It's also me trying out different things, it has my love of music in general and I'm willing to take a risk entering the game with as much genres I can pull off. I'm based in Vegas, I am here for family reasons. I hope to take it elsewhere as much as I can. I think it's an honor to be compared with Francis M and Gloc 9, heavy names who impacted the industry but I want to be put in my lane and I will continue to forge my way in music. I don't want to have a corrected version of the song, it blew up because it made people talk, I would like to have it stay that way. Yes I would like to penetrate the Hollywood scene, but it will be out when I come out with songs. I'm trying out different things and I want to push forward with different types of songs I put out. There could be something that happens out there, but I draw inspiration from Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, my personalities are different in songs, in terms of mixing that up into something, I might do it, it has crossed my mind, so let's see. Yes definitely I will have plans to go to the Philippines too but we don't know yet about the pandemic, we're going to see soon, that is in the plan of the team. I used Carinosa, it was dear to my heart since highschool. It's not in my plan, but an all Tagalog song is on my mind but we don't know when, maybe we can reshape what Filipino rap is around the world and hope people listen. Anyone who wants to be an artist, don't be afraid to be different. You begin like that, but if you start mixing, just keep going and don't give up on it, get angry! That would be an interesting idea to re-do my father's song, it is something you can expect, we don't know yet, but let's do it."

He adds "The Ilokano lines was just the most savage lines, it was angst, all or nothing, the abrasiveness of my voice that time, that was what it was. I was watching anime with my sister and I was trying to calm down, I didn't want to freak out really. So many factors came into that song, the recipe I think is I'm a proud Filipino and it shows on that song, it is because of that reason. There is this actual joke in my camp, if I fall down, I already have 2 songs written. I'm just a regular guy, who just writes music, I do recordings on my phone and sometimes I wake up an idea, sometimes I don't. The direction I wanna go was already there, this song Panalo didn't take that long because I just had to adjust. I don't see myself in the battle arena. Kultura was a music video which I did with HBOMB, it will come out on February 21. That video was just so hard to do, it was like a movie. Wether they do come out, just keep an eye for it, I hope everyone takes a listen. On my first concert, I would want my favorites to be there. I want to work alongside them, I want to still be me, breathe the same air as them. I would say it's the form of respect each other receive in the platform. The scene of the OG's deserved to be respected, but competition is us against the world, not us against us. I'm interested in acting on TV or movies, I don't have any leading ladies in mind. I am thankful to God for the success and being able to provide for my family, that's my priority. It's more than I can imagine or dream of, I will explore what I love doing the most and that's music."

His song "Panalo" is still on the Wish 107.5 YouTube Channel exclusive, so if you haven't seen it yet, make sure you do.

This guy has awesome talent, and he's definitely going places.

Have You Seen Your 2020 Cashless Lifestyle Report on the Paymaya App?

This morning was a little different, because when I opened my Paymaya app, it showed a link to information called the Paymaya 2020 Cashless Lifestyle Report. It basically summarizes all your transactions during 2020 and how you were able to get rewards each time you use the app. I took advantage of paying bills, paying for groceries, paying for food in restaurants and transferring money to other people on the Paymaya app.

My friends have been posting (AND MAJORLY FLEXING) their cashless lifestyle results and most of them only got around 500+ pesos as cashbacks on the app. So I was merely just expecting the same kind of amount too, but lo and behold, I have been blessed!

So after paying my bills, paying for food, paying for groceries and paying for medicine via the Paymaya app, I got a total of 1,625 pesos CASHBACK just because I used it. Now isn't that a sight for sore eyes?

The trick is, I always check the Paymaya Deals here https://www.paymaya.com/deals before I pay for anything, if they have a promo on a certain store or partner establishment, I use the Paymaya QR payment option to pay for things. I guess that's how I got this much cash back eh? Not only that, people have been donating through the Paymaya app for the Typhoon and Pandemic relief efforts last year. Just look at the 34 Million Pesos they raised just on the app!

The Paymaya 2020 Cashless Report also had granular items on where you spend your money. It's a really neat way of seeing how you spend your money. Now go update your Paymaya app now and click on the center banner where it says 2020 Cashless Report and see what happened in 2020 for you. I'm sure you've saved a lot if you are using the Paymaya App. I feel I did a really good job despite the pandemic, and I used it much because I was afraid COVID can be passed on paper money, hehe.

*Pats myself on the back!*

Thanks Paymaya!

SMART Signature Sim Only Plans with Netflix Now Available

Still making it easier for you is Smart. Now they have new SIM only Smart Signature plans which also comes with its own Netflix subscription, now that's amazing! In huge festivities a few days ago, they were as excited as I am in taking postpaid plans more affordable and feature packed so more Filipinos can get connected.

You see, without the phone packages, customers can now get those valuable Smart numbers without worrying about the phone payment and settle with good phones you own now. I also enjoy the convenience of paying at a later date.  What's new you say? It comes with Netflix too, so those original shows which you can only see on the app is now within reach. If you're a fan of Crash Landing On You, Money Heist, Stranger Things, The Umbrella Academy, Extraction, Bridgerton, Kingdom, The Crown or just about any hit show/movie there is in the US, Philippines or elsewhere in the world, you can access it now through streaming because of this. I've seen a plan as low as Php 999 a month but there's definitely more of it on www.smart.com.ph/signature.

With the Filipinos consuming a lot of data with streaming services, this is indeed welcome news. If it's already included in the plan, you can easily budget your data and never have to go out of your homes anymore just to buy a card or use apps for it. I've dreaded that part in the past, and now, consumers have more choices so it would fit their lifestyle. You can also use the GIGA Life app so you can monitor your usage and never see shocking bills for things you don't even use.  You can get it by booking online or face to face appointment. Now that's convenient!

Go get those Netflix plans, it'll be fun to binge watch more with Smart Signature!

Vivo Y31 For Those Who Choose Fun

Wednesday, February 03, 2021

It's been a while (332 days to be exact) since the government announced the state of public health emergency in the country. You and I probably have been confined inside our homes and it has affected everyone, the economy and our lives have not become normal (hopefully soon).

Some of us may have ended frustrated about their lives. Those who have graduated recently might find themselves not able to find employment as businesses struggle. Not only that, but most of us struggle mentally, trying to survive amidst the long time of not having work, not being productive or even enjoy the things you do daily. Hence, they tagged them as "The Lost Generation" which global smartphone brand Vivo plan to counter.

In an effort to counter the collective anxiety and lack of motivation, vivo, the global smartphone brand, and badge of self-expression, introduces its latest Y31 through a campaign that encourages the “lost generation” to welcome fun and make every day their day.

How you say? Easy. They launched the new Vivo Y31. With this phone, they hope to inspire the current generation to find their niche and confidence so they could control their own joy and begin trusting themself and become productive citizens of this country. The vivo Y31 boasts long battery life, and the feel of a flagship phone without the high price.

Even if we're feeling powerless sometimes, or still trying to find out what to do, you can still get out of that hole and do things that you are passionate about... and take out those crazy habits that take out the fun everyday. Now don't fret because Vivo will make arrangements this quarter so you can enjoy life with the Vivo Y31. As they launch this phone, they want you to feel that YOU CAN DO IT and not become lost in all this madness.

A series of exciting and engaging activities are in the pipeline come the vivo Y31 campaign launch, in its mission to contribute to the generation’s much-needed jump start and help them dodge the looming prospect of being lost. Find out how you can seize the day with the Vivo Y31 and see facebook.com/vivo.philippines for the activities they have in store for you.
