Meet the New Mi 11 Lite

One of the leading smartphone manufacturers Xiaomi Philippines has launched the newest addition to the Mi 11 family, they call it the Mi 11 Lite. It's young, fresh and hip, designed for young trendsetters in mind and donnes an ultra slim and light design. The actual unit only weighs 159 grams and the form only is around 6.81mm thin. If you compare that with things that have come out recently, this is definitely one of the lightest. The grip on the other hand isn't flimsy and don't be fooled, this is a pretty powerful phone. 

It has a Qualcomm SM7150 Snapdragon 732G processor and is octa core.It comes in 8GB+128GB variant of storage and memory. The triple camera setup comes with a 64 MP f/1.8 wide main camera, an 8 MP wide angle lens (ultrawide) and a 5 MP f/2.4 which can do macro shots for those closeup things you do for food. The battery is also fast charging at 33W so you can do more things in less time, plus it has a  4250 mAh capacity which can last you the whole day.

The front camera is 16 MP, pretty decent to take selfies with. The video capability of this stays on HD range at 1080p 30fps and 720p 120fps, perhaps enough for online content. When I said young earlier, they got the colors very fancy and called it Boba Black, Bubblegum Blue and Peach Pink. The Mi 11 Lite 8GB+128GB variant is only Php 14,990. You can now purchase it via authorized Mi Stores and their partner retailers nationwide. It is also available online at their official stores in Lazada and Shopee.

See IKEA's Life at Home

What does your home look like? What do you think your home needs in order to make it better? How do you live your life at home?

As you know, IKEA is set to open its doors in Pasay City soon. But before that, IKEA wants to know these too so that they would be able to bring modern furniture design that could help Filipinos thrive at home. This helps them understand what we need so they made the effort to talk to several locals who will benefit with IKEA opening at the SM Mall of Asia grounds soon. It's why they had the Life at Home series launched in their official Facebook page recently.

They now know that eating and sleeping is pretty much cookie cutter but there are really stark differences when it comes to culture because we're very sentimental, and always have extended family at home. Your grandma for instance play a role in the lives of everyone in the family, which is not common for other EU or US households and they talked to Filipinos about it. 

Georg Platzer the Store Manager of IKEA Pasay City says "The four dimensions that help us define home are: the people we live with, the things we own, the amount of space we have and the place we live in. Home is a feeling. This fascination helps us to better understand people’s needs, dreams, and challenges, especially for the new markets we enter like the Philippines."

JULIE ANNE SAN JOSE and DAVID LICAUCO Brews Romance in HEARTFUL CAFE

 

It was a fun evening to be with Pop star Julie Anne San Jose and the hunky David Licauco. They're having a new show startingthis Monday called Heartful Cafe and it was supposed to be shown on GMA News TV a couple months back, but they wanted it to be done on prime time now and on the main GMA channel, this is good news no?

Julie says "I am so glad this transitioned to GMA and is going to be shown in prime time. It only means that it would be shown to even more people, and I'm excited for them to see our story."

David says "This character is not so far from who I am in real life, I am a jokester, a simply guy who wants to have fun (a little bit of a player), just a slight difference in the family. But we almost do have the same characteristics."

Julie plays Heart who is a matchmaker in the series. David on the other hand is a little bit of a playboy, a little fresh and good looking so he gets away with trouble if he gets into it. We can't spoil much of the story because it would be better if you watch the show, here's part of our interview with them this evening. I like the other characters  portrayed by Jamir Zabarte, Victor Anastacio, Aira Mariano, Zonia Mejia and they will make this a little sweeter because they have their own pairs in the show.

2021 GINEBRA Jersey and Cap Collection Launch "Bagong Tapang sa One Ginebra Nation"

This is one of the most awaited events of the year and because of the pandemic, things have not been as normal as they should be. The challenge of the bubble conference of the PBA also was hard for all the professional basketball players and the Ginebra Kings is also part of that. The experience of doing the bubble made them even closer as it forced them to live together for the duration of the conference. They even dedicated all their games to their loved ones, and to the thousands of fans they have across the country. The players also are hopeful that everything would be back to normal, and wish for everyone's safety.
