The universe is conspiring and she's out with a new album, she's Lesha and taking the Philippines and the world by storm. She's an electropop artist and producer who's worked hard for her dreams, and now, it's a reality!
This August 6, her album "SUN MOON RISING" will be out with the first track with the same title dropping on this date. This is a huge difference from the time when she was just experimenting with her music via apps and vocals which she uploaded on Soundcloud. Slowly, she started doing remixes of popular songs and did several covers on YouTube. This opened up a lot of opportunities later on which got her to meet international producers of whome are now good friends, and is involved with her album Sun Moon Rising!
Lesha says "I'm self taught in music production, I also shoot and edit my own music videos. Those scenes you see on my channel are mostly shot in my own home and I got help from my family. I took Marketing Management in college and learned social media management because I needed to learn the ropes. I didn't want to be taken advantage. I am just so proud of this album that got me to work with producers and artists from UK, US, South Korea, Spain, Bahrain and Italy. I worked on this really hard and I'm very proud of what we have accomplished!"
Lesha's album SUN MOON RISING is under Star Music and will be released this coming August 6 on Spotify and other streaming platforms. You can also check out Lesha's YouTube channel (search Lesha) and her website leshaofficial.com for more information about her music.

Smart Hallyu Hangouts Presents HYUN BIN
As part of Smart's efforts to bring extraordinary experiences for their subscribers, they just concluded their recent Hallyu Hangouts with Hyun Bin after the recent one with Son Ye Jin. This time, the Captain took a breather, chatting with the host and two lucky fans who were picked to talk to him online.
During the event, I discovered a lot of things about him including how popular he was when he wasn't even an actor yet. He had his own personal fans club in high school. Aside from that, he does actually search his name on Hallyu or Google just so he could read articles about himself and see if it is TRUE or not. Because let's face it, some do publish weird stuff and celebrities not often get informed about it. He's like his own Sherlock Holmes!
He's pretty happy about how he's been loved by Filipinos, and he feels it. He would have been also happy to meet us in the country as soon as restrictions have been eased and this pandemic gets resolved. Aside from that, he's very happy about how he's part of Smart. He also did a few lines in Filipino including "Simple, Smart Ako!" which is Smart's tagline.
Now I experienced this because I'm a Smart subscriber, if you are, go like Smart's channels on Facebook and get updated with the next time they come out with a new artist. Who knows, you might get the chance to do that too on the next Smart Hallyu Hangouts!
LEGAL WIVES Showcases Cultural Differences on GMA
They've been doing good these past few days and with good reason. This is drama, severely cultural and depicts a relationship that isn't much of a norm in conservative Philippines. One man, married to three women, this is a series called LEGAL WIVES. This stars Dennis Trillo, Ms. Alice Dixson, Andrea Torres and Bianca Umali.
We got to talk to the cast a few days ago including Dennis Trillo who plays Ismael Makadatu. In a nutshell, polygamy is something that's a bit of taboo in the country. It's much of a cultural difference really, of understanding how society and these ladies to accept that they can be loved by one man. Aside from that, they're showing a couple of things that are a bit controversial like the harmful "Rido" wherein one clan tries to eliminate the other because of their differences. It will be explained in this series a bit, but not in whole because this isn't a documentary or news item. This also stars Derrick Monasterio, Ashley Ortega, Al Tantay, Juan
Rodrigo, Irma Adlawan, Maricar de Mesa, Tommy Abuel, Bernard Palanca,
Ms. Cherie Gil, Abdul Raman, Mon Confiado, Shayne Sava, Kevin Santos,
indie actor Kiko Matos, Jay Arcilla and Brent Valdez. This is directed by Zig Dulay who also did Bianca Umali's Sahaya in the past.
Watch the show, maybe you'll see how something so crazy like this makes sense.
Watch Joel Lamangan’s LOCKDOWN via GMovies
I'd go on to say that LOCKDOWN has been Direk Joel Lamangan's best work yet. It talks about a young overseas Filipino worker (OFW) that has been affected by the pandemic. He lost work, came home to the Philippines and found himself struggling, forcing him to work and enter the grueling world of cyber $3x so he could provide for himself, his family.
This film stars new Star Magic talent Paolo Gumabao, son of then politician and actor Dennis Roldan. He plays the role of Danny Asuncion in a script written by Troy Espiritu. GMovies and Upstream.PH partnered up so they can show this to a wider audience, and make the experience of paying for a movie seamless, secured, especially during these times.
You can download the GMovies app on Google Play or App Store if you're in iOS. You may also visit GMovies.ph for more information about it. This is an R18 film, so please make sure you're old enough to watch it.
