Following the announcement of Google's USD7.5 million grant to help Asian countries with the pandemic response, the company's employees in the Philippines have also volunteered to provide additional aid to the country. This is part of its efforts to fight the pandemic.
In support of the Philippines' volunteer program, iVolunteer, Google employees can donate to the organization through their company's giving campaign. The funds will be used to support the program. If the donation is made for a specific organization, iVolunteer will split it equally among the following: Citizens Disaster Relief Center, Solar Hope, and Kid's Who Farm.
In the Philippines, Google employees have been able to contribute to programs that benefit communities affected by natural disasters. One example of this is the company's matching campaign launched in 2020 for individuals affected by the severe flooding that occurred due to the typhoons Rolly and Ulysses.
After getting much anticipated plays, a million views and replays on YouTube, Facebook on the Puregold Channel, the hit digital show GVBOYS is still getting lots of praises. Jerome Ponce, Nikko Natividad and Dave Bornea who plays Jawo, Dax and Zeus are still game for adulting issues, financial challenges, falling in love, fun friendships and family.
In recent episodes, Jawo was seen shooting commercials, unbeknownst to him, the kissing scenes were going to be a little uncomfortable when the pairing goes south. Dax will also get a tattoo, and you'll see Annabel as the new kasambahay that starts all things creepy inside their home. Some comments on the recent episodes signify how foreign viewers want to also see what they're saying in the hopes of someone doing English subtitles for the show. Recently, they also noticed a spike in susbscriber base including likes to their page over at Facebook. Hopefully there's going to be a second season because these guys and veteran actors are really making this absolutley fun!
If you haven't seen it, you can just head on to YouTube.com/PuregoldChannel and see why people are loving GVBOYS!
We've always thought about how to take care of our skin during the pandemic. That goes to say, we do care about how we look because even those HD videos over video conferencing software. Let's face it, men have different skin conditions as women. For most of it, it's because of Androgen or the male hormone which renders our skin thicker than those of women. So you've got to take good care of it.
Nivea for men has some on their line that would be able to do that. Grooming essentials? Take Nivea for Men Cool Kick Spray for instance, it can get you 48 hour protection from sweat and odor plus a -10C icy cool feeling when you spray it on, you'll feel fresh all day because of it. Aside from that, you can also clean up with Nivea for men Whitening Acne Oil Control Scrub to reduce those dark spots caused by acne. It also lowers oil and removes dead skin cells so you're clean as a whisk. If you need skin nourishment, I believe in moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. It's why they have Nivea for Men Creme to make sure your skin doesn't dry out. It's not sticky and also gets absorbed by the skin quite fast. Those dry spots won't be there anymore if you're having trouble with that. You'll feel smooth all over when you do it the right way, so check yourself all over and see what needs it most. I apply mine in most of my extremities, face, hands, feet.
If you want to see what fits you, go to Shopee's official Nivea store here. You can also purchase the Cool Kick Spray here, the Acne Oil Control Scrub here and the Creme here. They've got a huge spot on Shopee's Nivea Brand Day wherein they'll offer vouchers, crazy discounts and free shipping on the platform. Now don't tell me I didn't tell you about it! It starts today!
We all adored the movie "The Boy Foretold by the Stars" and that thing moved me. It represented a whole lot of people, who are still capable of love and yes, I was so happy to see the characters of Keann Johnson and Adrian Lindayag develop something out of it.
The budding relationship of Dominc and Luke continues in the new sequel Love Beneath the Stars which is a digital series to be shown on the iWant platform. I had the pleasure of watching the first episode last August 9th. To tell you honestly, I had high expectations because I really loved the movie. I'm tough as a stone but I cried in several scenes (in the movie) and the series, took the role of filling in the gaps for content because if you're looking for details, this fills it up A LOT.
The class jock and endearing effeminate lover was surely going to rock the catholic school. Add to that the complexities of bigotry, the conservative ones, bullies and close minded peeps who will bring unwanted opinion on a relationship of two people. The series will also showcase a lot of things you didn't notice. You call yourself supportive, an ally, but it doesn't match with what you think, say or do. This evidently would encourage change, and I'm excited about the next episodes which will be shown on the same platform.
Here's part of the blog conference earlier this week. I didn't quite had the chance to ask questions because of time constraints and the amount of people that were equally excited about the show. So here you go, enjoy!
The series doesn't make you feel you burdened to change your beliefs, it just shows you what's happening around you and YOU have to decide what you need to do. Keann and Adrian seriously delivered in the acting department, and with a few scenes, you'll surely be hooked and feel for their characters.
Love Beneath the Stars is the kind of show that doesn't hit you with a ton of bricks, but slowly takes over your heart in several acts, finds that small glistening hope that you see beyond labels and prejudice, to see what it is... nothing but LOVE. If you want to watch it, download the iWant TFC app on android and iOS. Aside from that, you can also watch it on Android powered Smart TV's where it is compatible. Streaming will start on August 16. I'll surely watch the other episodes, I heard they're making this in 6 parts.
This is written and directed by Dolly Dulu who also appears on the video above.
