The Day I Made GIGI DE LANA Cry

Her viral performance of "Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita" got 13.5 Million views and now, getting thousands of viewers every night they perform, people certainly can't get enough of her... she's Gigi Delana and her band Gigi Vibes. Recently, they released their first original song called SAKALAM, and true enough, they've landed on Spotify's #1 Fresh Picks and garnering still, a growing number of streams in the platform.

They're also releasing a music video for it and a teaser was shown during the presscon, and by the looks of it, you'll love that too. It will premiere today October 11, at 6PM ono all of ABSCBN's socials and broadcast channels. Gigi says "My heart is full because we've gone through a lot. We're very thankful for that, I would like to thank everyone in my band, the management, the people that believe in us, we are so grateful to become your kapamilya. Thank you Lord for giving us this blessing. There were a lot of things happening during the shoot of the video, I couldn't show the right emotions initially, I was strong because I didn't want to cry, I don't want to feel the hurt, so I kinda shut down, but I have to feel it again, the feeling of being human. What made me strong was my experiences, the people that inspired me especially now, my bandmates, my Mom, the people I get to grow with. More Stars Renew with GMA Artist Center

It was a very lovely day to talk to several of GMA's homegrown stars particularly teen star Bryce Eusebio, singer and actress Denise Barbacena, the stunning Pauline Mendoza, beauty queen Patricia Tumulak, champion singer Hannah Precillas,  demigod chef Jose Sarasola, great villain Ashley Ortega, the pretty Analyn Barro and model/actress and host Luanne Dy.

During the blogcon they told us what they plan to do now that they renewed ties, but they also delved a lot of the conversation about their individual experiences during the lockdow. The pandemic has gotten to a point wherein they weren't able to shoot their projects or continue taping for it. They also got to do several things like businesses durign the time so they could earn a little because they needed to also pay the bills. They want to also improve more, expect that they'll have more shows because the network gives them quite a lot even back then.

It was awesome to see them working again, hearing them sing and of course, tell us about new shows (First Yaya Book 2!) here's hoping they would be able to continue shooting shows as the new normal becomes a reality.

New Vivo X70 Available for Pre-Order!

It looks like you're up to good things today as vivo Philippines just started pre-order on their newest flagship phone the vivo X70. I've had the opportunity to use it for a few days so I'm going to tell you about it on a review soon, but as I said, you too can get reservations for it on vivo concept stores and authorized retailers starting October 9-15.

This smartphone is masterfully engineered together with lens manufacturer Zeiss optics so expect this to be excellently photography centric. It's going to be the best in producing high quality images even if you're taking shots in low light conditions (not that you're going to bars and clubs anytime soon in this pandemic lol).

One thing to note is the ultra sensing gimbal camera which can take your vlogs/videos to anoter level so you don't make your viewers dizzy everytime you get clips. Cinematic shots?
