LANDERS Superstore Calls for Donations

I've been struggling appreciating the holidays especially when several provinces in Visayas and Mindanao were hit by Typhoon Odette. Although I've helped in my own little way, there are still a lot of people suffering without food, water, electricity and even information because internet connection doesn't exist.

Good thing there are several private entities that are launching donation drives to help in making sure supplies are going to get there. Landers Superstore members and non members can now donate water, hygeine kits, clean clothes, pillows, blankets, and other non perishable items in all their branches nationwide. Aside from that, you can purchase things to donate on their website landers.ph/help-vismin and use the voucher code HELPVISMIN so delivery fees will not be charged, all of it will be picked up by the Philippine Army so they can get them to Typhoon Odette hit areas. As of now, they have a total of 12.5 Million pesos worth fo products delivered and 5 Million from their partner Deca Homes. They are also supplying tap water at the Grand Convention Center in Cebu during office hours, to hopefully not have anyone lacking water wherever in Cebu.

VALORANT AGENT 19 NEON Out, Featuring YLONA GARCIA's "Entertain Me!"

VALORANT has just released the full trailer for new Agent 19 NEON, an electric laden runner with fast mobility and speed from Manila, Philippines. Voice actor Vanille Velasquez got the opportunity to do this new duelist. Proudly, I am glad to inform you that our very own international recording Aussie Filipino artist Ylona Garcia  just released ENTERTAIN ME for this particular occasion in partnership with Riot Games and Valorant.

Entertain Me is a synth pop number that talks about female empowerment, and signified she won't be controlled or fooled by anyone. This is produced by DNA and written by Ylona, David Musmeci and Antonio Egizii. This is under PARADISE RISING/88rising Music which we have written about a couple months back. I've heard it during the singing parts of this video right here which was released by Valorant yesterday.

Now I don't know if there's any confirmation, but NEON actually looks like Ylona in some angles. The teaser trailer entitled "Nanay" which was released a few days ago also personified NEON as someone who misses home, her mom, very Filipino. She made a very tropical looking room and the good guys in the game actually liked it. I play this religiously so I'm going to be so proud hearing more about NEON, this song by Ylona as she becomes an even bigger star in the international stage. She's 19 and she's just starting!

DINGDONG DANTES and BEAUTY GONZALEZ for I Can See You AlterNATE

Exciting is pretty much a word that defines what we felt during the blog conference for the I Can See You AlterNATE series on GMA. This is the first time that Dingdong Dantes is going to be paired with Beauty Gonzales. They've had this taping done late last year and they worked pretty fast because everyone was very professional. This also includes the on screen comeback of Jackie Lou Blanco and Direk Ricky Davao, which for one or more reasons would have been not done on Philippine TV.

Beauty says "I was so lucky to get  to work with this cast because it was such a blast, I hope we get the chance to work again because this was a little bitin. It was such a beautiful experience! It's nice to end the year with me working with a group like this. Dingdong is so professional, very intuitive, I know why he's very respected in GMA because he's very caring and very nice to everyone. To tell you honestly I was nervous at first because I just wanted to work with him, and now it's happening."

Dingdong adds "This show is very unique, quite different from the shows I've done previously because I play two people, with different personalities. It's more of the difficult ones I've done in my career. It's a beautiful experience working with her. In the beginning we had to test the waters because it's the first time to meet on set, and first time to work with each other. The difficult roles made us more open with each other because the requirement was really high. As actors we had to know each other because we're giving part of ourselves in the roles we played. You need to have complete trust and I think we have done that in the beginning of the work day, we've established that."

Century Tuna Outs Heartwarming Short "Dahilan"

Ugh... here goes Century Tuna doing a heart pinching video to showcase the love for Mom. Seeing it yesterday for the first time made me very emotional, because as a certified Mama's boy, you always want the best for your Mom who sacrificed her life just to make you who you are today.

This is the handy work of famed director Antoinette Jadaone entitled "Dahilan". Guy works out even during the pandemic, eats and cooks a healthy meal, prepares a sumptuous brunch then fetches his Mom, carry her up a flight of stairs and had a heartfelt date. He made Mom cry, with joy in her heart, appreciates the gesture of her son. Ms. Antonette says Century Tuna and her ideas jived to put in front that it's not just physical strength that is important these days, but also mental. This talks more about living a healthy lifestyle so you get to spend it with people you love.  They call this "Century Tuna LOVE STRONG". This is so apt for the times.
