Ever gone outside and felt like ask yourself, is my phone going to fail me today? Or maybe fear you'll lose a game because your data would suddenly go kaput right in the middle of the battle? How about calling friends or family, but you end up disconnecting right when you're giving instructions for your location? We all go through that in one way or another, but DITO has something good up their sleeves.
They've done pretty well offering a lot of promos with their prepaid lines, sims and data connection. This month, they felt the need to level up which is why they've come up with even BIGGER DATA for the same price!
For 99 pesos, you get 8GB data that is good for 15 days. If you get the 109 pesos, it has 9GB data. If you get the 129 peso package, you get 10GB of data which can be used for 30 days. You also get a bonus connection with Prime Video Mobile Edition.
It's the most affordable data rate, you'll enjoy a longer validity for data, and get entertainment with the movies that Prime Video offers. That's incredible no?
Go get your DITO sim and follow their social channels to know more about their data packages, wouldn't you want that from your network provider? Dingdong and Marian already did, why shouldn't you!
Spent the afternoon at Araneta City as Chef Tatung celebrated his birthday at the Gateway 2 Mall's Quantum SkyView together with fans of his videos and social channels on this day.
He did a cooking demonstration with one of his avid supporters and taught a few things for the crowd. He says "We learn to cook what is available, make sure it's affordable and strive to become creative in the kitchen. It is okay to do slow cooking but not to the point of using too much gas. We need to also be economical and simpol when in the kitchen."
He was also joined by one of my favorite bakers Chef Jackie Ang Po and raffled off prizes for the dozens who attended the event.
What I liked about the live cooking demo was how attentive the crowd was. They participated well and even answered some of the questions thrown to them by Chef Tatung. They also had the event live streamed on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube for the rest who couldn't come to the event. This event wasn't possible without the help of Maggi, Masflex, Arla, Premium Choice Meatshop, Tindeli, Palenque, Araneta City and Gateway Mall.
Make sure you follow his YouTube, TikTok and Facebook page because he's going to make more content to make sure life and cooking becomes SIMPOL!
We sit and miss one of the most regarded actresses in Hollywood, Demi Moore. She's starring in this new movie called "THE SUBSTANCE" to be released by CreaZion Studios in Philippine cinemas this 25th.
She plays the role of Elisabeth Sparkle, an A-list star who got fired suddenly by her boss Harvey played by Dennis Quaid. In depression, she took refuge in the said substance and transformed into a different persona called Sue done by actress Margaret Qualley. It's a bit complicated though because she had to switch places (and bodies) every week, so imagine the crazy stuff the other person would do in her shoes.
This is penultimately a horror movie, so if you are looking for a genre aligned with classics like Death Becomes Her, The Fly or Carrie, you will enjoy this one too.
This is just one of the things that CreaZion Studios is working on, and soon you'll see them do TV, digital and other content for Southeast Asia. Can't wait to see this on theaters soon!
Taiwan certainly has a lot of things that Filipinos could connect to. One of it is the love for music. TAITRA aka Taiwan External Trade Development Council recently held the Taiwan Excellence "Your Song of Excellence: Duo Legacy" at the Market!Market! mall in Taguig City.
Out of thousands who sent their entries, they got the judges choose 3 finalists to battle it out on this one day at the mall's activity center. This isn't a walk in the park as we talked to the judges Kean Cipriano, Ice Seguerra, Yeng Constantino and Paulo Zarate. They also had to choose a winner based off a themed composition about Taiwan Excellence and an original song. Taiwan is known for their various quality products and seeing the Taiwan Excellence seal on them just assures you of their high standards. Aside from the economic standpoint, it's the connections we share in culture that makes it a worthwhile event.
We also got to talk to the executives of TAITRA and asked about what they were looking for as far as winners go. It's a combination of talent, x factor and the ability to showcase the Filipino talent. Because just like Taiwan, we find excellence in these things. Makes sense?
Various Taiwanese brands also joined the event in support of the Taiwan Excellence program and this songwriting and singing competition:
In the end, they announced The Unexpected Duo's Vench Larenas and Renz Salazar as Second Runner Up, Haranajeeb Duo's Khen Aldovino and Nephtali Fajardo as the First Runner Up. The grand winner is Mandarhyme Duo's Rusty and Janine Loayon, they won Php 300,000 for it. The event was witnessed by TAITRA's Brian Lee, Alex Lai, and people from Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office. Also in the event was Ambassador Wallace Chow and Ms. Josephine Shun of TECO Philippines.
