LG Electronics Uses AI at CES, Dubbed Affectionate Intelligence

CES 2025 is the perfect place to release LG's latest innovations, and they've got AI. Not the usual Artificial Intelligence, but Affectionate Intelligence. You also have AI capabilities that could help you with work, LG gram Pro 2 in 1, even play games with LG ThinQ ON that is also connected with other IoT devices, have everything controlled in one spot so you get that immersive experience one wished for when doing it on LG UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitors on your table. They also have the MX platform to make sure you have tailored moods done in your space, even have displays like LG Signature OLED T, the new LG Signature 4 door French Door Refrigerator that you can also see what's inside because of the transparent OLED panel.

They also showcased new 2025 XBOOM speakers that also does AI, as it automatically adjusts audio settings and also suggests lighting modes appropriate to it. These are just the few things they've done at CES as part of their dedication to make sure that sustainable future happens soon. I Made "GUINNESS World Records" With HONOR X9c 5G

It must have been a really logistical nightmare for HONOR Philippines to do this in the morning of January 6th in Makati City. With Honor community members, executives, influencers and media, they started to plan and do this world record attempt of having “The Most People Performing a Mobile Phone Drop Test Simultaneously” a reality, not just for the brand, but for the Philippines.

For those who don't know, Guinness is the authority in record breaking facts and achievements. They flew in an actual adjudicator just for this occasion,  to prove that the HONOR X9c 5G would withstand a drop test, but do it with 250 people, doing it at the same time. 

We had runs, but on the actual drop test, we needed to do it right because otherwise, Guinness wouldn't certify it. They were so strict and had people look at us from left to right, front to back. When the attempt was made, they had the adjudication process done, audited everything from the people who successfully did it and those who didn't made the cut, wouldn't be counted at all. 

In the end, the official tally was 265 and was certified by the adjudicator in front of the stage. We now officially hold the record of “The Most People Performing a Mobile Phone Drop Test Simultaneously”, this is for HONOR, for the Philippines and the world!

This is just the start, because to tell you more, the phone we used hasn't been launched yet. Though it will be officially done this coming January 10th (today). AEGIS: "Halik Sa Ulan" - A Valentines Special at the New Frontier Theater

People sorely miss the Filipino pop rock band AEGIS. With the passing of their lead vocalist Mercy Sunot last November, it would be an injustice to just leave their music and legacy behind. This coming February 1 and 2, they'll be holding a concert entitled AEGIS: Halik Sa Ulan, A Valentines Special at the New Frontier Theater, Araneta City.

Juliet and Ken will bring you some of their best hits plus a throng of love songs, putting their own AEGIS spin so you could get the lovely valentine's day feels you've been looking for.They will also be performing songs with AEGIS' keyboardist Stella Pablico, drummer Vilma Goloviongo, bassist Weng Adriano and their lead guitarist Rey Abenoja. For sure, there will be a part of the show that will be dedicated to Ms. Mercy, and how she was able to put up a good fight, and how important it would be to continue living with their music as we remember her. If you've been following her on TikTok, you could see how she still performed like there was no tomorrow, something that we'd want to always remember her for right? Also performing in the show is promising singing boy group Formula 5. Aside from that, guests like Asia's Phoenix Morisette Amon, Jona, Ogie Alcasid and Julie Anne San Jose plus surprise guests will be singing in between numbers, and also do productions with the band, something you surely would love to see.

Acer Outs Environmental Friendly Laptops at CES 2025

Looks like they've never stopped at making newer, way better laptops and even more environmentally sound ones at CES 2025. Not only did they have it made, but it won rightful accolades specifically the Aspire Vero 16. This is Acer's carbon neutral laptop that is primarily made with oyster shells, a technology that they've seen would be apt especially for the ones who worry about nature, like me and you!

They also utilize an Intel Core Ultra 200H, something that they have in both the new Swift Go and this Aspire Vero 16. The new processors were designed sustainably, making it lightweight, with a 3K OLED display on one and 2K IPS on the other. They've also added a few networking products to take advantage of 5G connectivity which works a lot on mobile. Much of these laptops have a recycled plastic chassis, something that probably made merit with their CES Innovation Award honor in the event.

I'd love to have those routers and dongle since we're probably heading to Wi Fi 7 standard tech in devices soon.
