Home Credit Reaches 3 Million Customers

Friday, July 27, 2018

I’m sure you’ve all heard about Home Credit, where Filipinos can now have access to credits and loans at very friendly interest rates even if you don’t have a credit card. To celebrate this momentous occasion, they want to make it even more special for their 3 Millionth customer by giving them 5,000 worth of gift certificates and waiving off everything on their loan last July 26, 2018. This happened in SM Megamall's Appliance Center and we followed the Home Credit Executives and personnel to surprise the 3 Millionth customer.

The winner is an elderly couple (Virginia and Elmer Dela Torre) who prior to this purchase just only wanted his wife to watch Teleseryes conveniently in a big 50 inch TV - and they didn’t hesitate to get the offer through Home Credit because of it’s affordable installment scheme. Do you know how convenient it has become for people who do not have credit cards these days because of Home Credit?

The couple now has a brand new TV, plus all their installment payments for the next few months have all been waived! After being approved for the credit, they were suddenly surprised by media and the executives of Home Credit Philippines. That TV costs around 27K, plus the couple now has 5,000 worth of gift certificates which they said they will use for groceries.

They went home VERY happy, congratulations and I hope they do enjoy what they purchased through Home Credit. If you want to know more about how YOU can also purchase through Home Credit, check out their contact details through Facebook or their official website HomeCredit.ph.

Rita Daniela and Marika Sasaki for “Eto Na! MusikalnAPO”

An early morning jam session with GMA Artist Center’s Rita Daniela and Marika Sasaki happened early today. The two singers/actresses will be part of 9Works Theatrical’s latest offering Eto Na! MusikalnAPO. Yes, the whole thing is the story of Filipino music icons the APO HIking Society. There are still a lot of things you didn’t know from this group, their stories, their cause, their cause and how it affected society.

Marika Sasaki plays Jane and she says “We are doing this on August 3-5, 10-12, 17-19 and 24-26 but they are already telling us that there is a huge possibility to have this extended. They have very interesting stories on how they were formed, the went from a big group, until they started to perform as a trio. Honestly I didn’t know most of the songs were originally sung by them, millennials know most of these but didn’t know these guys did it. You’ll love the songs, the set is 70’s because those are their hey days. This is my first theatre experience and I learned a lot, I salute theatre actors and actresses because I now have experienced that. This is a different passion, it’s impossible not to like it. This is about friendship, family and love in that era. You will learn about what you should seek in this time. You will know how brave they were at that era.”

Rita Daniela plays Ana love interest of Rick and she says “This is the story of APO and what happened to their members. It was a surprise, I auditioned for this through 9works Theatrical Production. We had to sing one fast and one slow song by APO. I auditioned and got in, but most of the artists did it online. We even borrowed their minus one, you shouldn’t miss seeing them in the flesh on the August 5 show. I am an old soul, I knew their songs but didn’t know the artists. They speak their mind and they did something for the country. I am not afraid about the politics, but this is a person’s experience. You will experience a rollercoaster ride of emotions. You will be laughing and crying in some of the scenes. Right now there are a lot of artists out there, OPM is so alive and most of the characters here are in that industry. You will see how they make songs, what their message is and that’s exactly why I am an old song until now. You will fall in love with that process and I’m happy it’s all made by Filipinos.”

This is going to be an exciting tell all of what conspired during then 70’s and it’ll be funny, dramatic, bold and romantic in the hopes of you getting inspired about their story.

You may purchase tickets via TICKETWORLD 8919999 and will be shown 8PM Fridays and 3PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Aiai Delas Alas Renews with HOBE Noodles as it Triples Sales Figures

Wednesday, July 25, 2018

It's her 4th year with the brand and still going strong, Aiai Delas Alas remains on top of her game. Aside from her regular shows, several businesses, management duties with top artists, she still manages to continue relationships with brands that trust her, one of which is HOBE Noodles.

HOBE Noodle sales has indeed gone up in the past few years (x3 in sales according to them!), and as previously said by the brand's CEO, they chose Aiai to be their endorser because the ordinary Mom's at home relate to her, trust her the most when it comes to their choices. Aiai says “I think I am their favorite, it’s been 4 years but they still believe in me. The reason why my husband is also happy is because I cook for him, he tells his friends about it and he is proud of me. I will be in exhibits and cooking demos in world trade center. I would want to do a TVC in the provinces. The products are also being sold outside the country, I hope they do another presscon about that.”

“I wish to have webisodes for them because it has been a regular thing for brands to do that. I only made a mistake in cooking when I was a noob, but I have studied hard so that doesn’t happen again. I also experiment, I also add organic ingredients because that’s how I eat these days, I keep it healthy in the kitchen.”
”Aside from HOBE I have a cinemalaya entry called School Service, another movie with EX Battallion, the Clash and another endorsement next week. I also believe in organizations, mine included, who have direct contact with the poorest of the poor, we do a lot during Christmas and that to me can’t equate to things. I do this with other celebrities but we don’t tell people about it much, I remember even asking government help when someone asked me for blood donations, I want something that would directly help and if it is politics or not I would still gladly help. We also give HOBE and food packs when Christmas season starts and I’m glad I got a lot of help with that.”

She adds “For those who want to know, Jay Roa and EX B are planning to get some songs together. People were so elated about seeing him and the boys together during the concert so I would like that to happen soon!”

HOBE Noodles CEO Bobby Co says “Yes we are raising her talent fee and aside from that, renewing her contract. She has been instrumental in making the brand as big as it is and we’re glad to have her on board for another.”

Congratulations Ms. Aiai Delas Alas, you continue to shine because you are so good to people.

Share Your Wanderlust

Mountain Climbing, a good activity in the alps!

Winter, Spring, Summer of Fall, if I were to choose between these seasons, I’d gladly choose Winter. The perks of modern day traveling these days are literally out of this world. Your wanderlust can take you to places of your dreams, landmarks that may have once be considered impossible for people to go to, but now is accessible for a fraction of the cost much like vacation rentals in breckenridge. These days, it’s not just the island adventures that count, you can make your vacations comfortable in ski resorts, the cold chilly places where you could do alpine activities the whole year round with your friends and family. People dream of snow, rushing down mountain slopes, ice karting, fat biking, zip lines, dog sledding and more. It’s something that people in the equator have never even seen, so if they wish for a chance in climate, a change of scenery, then this would be a good place to start.

In TV shows, we often see locals also do ice diving, wild adventures in cold zero temperatures that even adrenaline junkies would completely enjoy. Hiking up the mountains with snow shoes, small workouts that can even make you healthy, I would have that - and some time for dog sledding so we could enjoy the crystal white landscapes that would make my ski holiday the perfect one.

To relax the mood, I’d rather sit, chill with a glass of champagne and see the view. It gives us that relaxing mood that puts our mind at ease, so we can rest from the hustle and the bustle of everyday life. We could spend a little more on indoor stuff, a luxurious refuge like pools, a few minutes in the sauna (which also helps for health btw!) and steam rooms so we could tone down, feel better. It’s like a reset button, takes our mind off of things then face reality later on, ready to work even more so we could achieve our dreams. We all owe that to ourselves of course!

We also would be able to play, build a snowman, remember when we were kids where we thought everyone else lived in an igloo? I’d like to experience that too. These days, hotels do custom travel packages that can do exactly that, the more posh ones build temperature controlled structures so you can see the skies above, which makes more stars visible - pitch black scenes would look like black velvet backdrafts with shiny diamonds here and there.

To get there I'd prefer a direct flight, if not maybe short transfers. I'd like to stay in a hotel that looks like a chalet, or perhaps a smaller, more compact place where I have access to everything. I also want those small ski areas that are easy to get around, a very family-friendly accommodation. I have friends who also have minor kids, it would be great to have childcare options. We also want lift pass and equipment offers so the kids won't be bored while we're there to stay. Maybe they also need free access to nursery slopes, it's not going to be easy seeing them mixing around with the adults, it would be dangerous if they didn't have professional instructors or adult supervision.

It would be also great to experience the local culture, if not to live with the locals, perhaps a visit to the town or market would do. It’s practical to get to know these places first so you get a grasp of what the country identity is like, I think that is interesting. You’ll also understand their ways and apply the good ones when you learn something new, bring it back home and tell their stories. I think it makes you grow as a person, as a citizen of the world.

Oh and let’s not forget about the food. It’s not just hot cocoa and marshmallows when the temperature drops. This is the time when you have to let the guns out, make hearty warm meals like baked pastas, meat stews and pies. I distinctly remember my family preparing their best versions of Mac and Cheese, take the strides preparing the ingredients and make use of the slow cooker and do Lasagna with tons of cheese (which I prefer over anything else). I also dig the hot southern spiced fried chicken and cornbread, the beef stew, the chicken pot pie, meatloaf, deep dish pizza, spaghetti and meatballs our Mom used to make. I can make a mean steak done medium, mozzarella stuffed pork chops, lobster cheddar soup and warm buttery mashed potatoes that I put a drop or two of truffle oil just to make things better. What’s there not to love with winter?

There are a ton of destinations out there that have snow - I’m going to one of them this coming October and making preparations as early as now. In a nutshell, I have to make plans to meet people, see how they live, know their history, experience the touristy stuff, then the less touristy ones, plus the ones where you discover that the world is huge. You may not end up traveling in each of the countries in your bucket list, but do the ones that would make you happy. Our happiness stems from experiencing these all with our friends and family. I am happy to have gone to a few and live to tell the others at home about it. Even with sharing of stories you get to let them understand that nothing is impossible and you are proof of it.
That’s just the start. Thanks to you, they too will have wanderlust!
