CPFI is a global company with a Philippine footprint. We are aware that there are players in this place, but we are offering an alternative. Price is close to actual meat, the look and taste of meat without any preservatives. At Century, they have some of the most variety of products. Unmeat is plant based, protein rich, has fiber, and has the same benefits as with other plant based burgers. Our r&d worked hard to make this the tastiest but with less than ten ingredients.
Their production has been done in Wenger Manufacturing Inc. and their goal was to find something that had texture, the feel and flavor of actual meat. Century Pacific met with them and found how good they had. In 2008, they were already attending plant based proteins and wanted to have something that has the flavor of meat, but with all plant alternatives. They use NON GMO soy products for these. Symrise Flavor decode, design and deliver flavors that would work for the consumer. It also lasts 9 months under frozen conditions. They cost it quite nicely too at Php 135 for the unMEAT Burger Patties (226g). The unMEAT Sausages (225g) cost the same while the unMEAT Nuggets (200g) is at Php 120 and the unMEAT Giniling (200g) is at Php 120 which means it's all quite affordable.

This morning was one for the books as popular online shopping app SHOPEE finally unveiled their latest Shopee ambassador. It was actually very obvious as it wouldn't really make sense if he wasn't one because his hit prime time variety show has always delivered help to the masses, who else but Willie Revillame aka KUYA WIL. Wowowin on GMA has been a platform for Filipinos to not only find entertainment, but relief from the stresses of everyday life. What's more is that Willie Revillame has been doing this for years now and it has benefited countless Filipinos of mostly poor and underprivileged parts of society, and he hasn't stopped til now. When he did stints for Shopee, the unbelievable response to the app's promos and giveaways showcased why he's been the trusted by everyone, and the live sessions are proof for it.

To get the press a little entertained during the event, he got one live audience (from us entertainment media) and one from those who are covering online. He got us to play his hit game choosing between a mystery box and a couple thousand bucks. Well, I think he and Shopee went a little generous and gave the winner a huge surprise. I wished I got picked, but it didn't happen LOL. Congratulations to the winners though!
Oh by the way, Willie is spearheading the sale that's going to happen this 3.3 and 4.4 as their Mega Shopping sale will have Shopee Pay 1 peso deals, Free Shipping and 20% cashback on several products on the app. Well in fact, they've got a whole calendar full of events so you can save from discounts that tons of stores from the app get enabled only on these dates, plus the payday sales, and the things that stores offer on the platform. Aside from that, they also got Bugoy Drilon, Michael Pangilinan, and one of my favorite performers Kris Lawrence to do some RnB numbers, man I was seeing sparkles and doves during this portion. These guys are good, it was crazy good!
To a more serious and not serious note, we sat down with Kuya Wil after the event amd got to ask him a few questions about this endorsement. He answered why he's not stopping helping people and why he's not asking for anything more. He also worries about the people who work for him during this pandemic, it was nice to see how he answered it unrehearsed, the man has a good heart.
Kuya Wil will be appearing in several print, digital and TV commercials so you're bound to see him a couple of times from February to April. He also sees this partnership last a long time, so stay tuned for more of Shopee in Wowowin too!

New year, new show, and that means there's room for some new artists on GMA. The show is called "Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat" (I will get everything back!) which is top billed by Pauline Mendoza who's done several shows like Little Nanay, That's My Amboy, Alyas Robin Hood, My Love from the Star, Kambal, Karibal, Cain at Abel, , Love You Two and One of the Baes. Needless to say, she's worked her way up and 2021 is her year, which means you're going to see her star shine even more.
The vibe I got from this blogcon was so nice, the whole cast became extremely close during the locked in taping and when they did meet again during our press conference, the jokes were thrown from all directions. The experience of shooting during the pandemic had them be together with other artists as room mates, so even after the long day, they got to eat, tell stories and talk about how their day went.
As you can see, there's no shortchanging in the looks department as artists like Therese Malvar (who plays Lala), Kristoffer Martin (who plays Joel Espejo), Manolo Pedrosa (who is Justin Roxas) and Dave Bornea (who plays Randall Madrigal) will also be in the show. They will be involved in Pauline's character Iris as what she believes was a perfect and contented life with her family, suddenly would fall into shambles as Carmina Villaroel, Tanya Garcia, John Estrada will put their past troubles on the shoulders of their daughters. Watch out for the character of Liezel Lopez named Trina Espejo because she'll be the one you'll despise in this show.

Now there's a lot to look forward to in the next few months, few years in fact. Aside from the Korean superstars, there will be lots of things to see in the 5G technology that they're rolling into the country. Wish I can get a plan with it soon!
